By continuing to try to make the comparison, you are insulting Americans' intelligence. George Bush is a ***** criminal. Abe Lincoln is a hero. Bush compares more reasonably with Jefferson Davis, another criminal.
- SheilaNoya, on 02/29/2008, -0/+6If Bush thinks he is just like Lincoln, then I highly suggest he start attending plays and sitting in the balcony.
- toddcat, on 02/28/2008, -0/+5Jon needs to marginalize these people. They have no place promulgating their views on such a prominent public arena. They are responsible for the decimation of America and the world. One wouldn't have had Hitler on in 1942, would one? Himmler wouldn't have been invited. Honestly, they have NO BUSINESS being on Jon's show.
- hawkeye17, on 02/29/2008, -0/+4Another Republican stooge taking a shortcut to thinking. Comparing an idiot and a national disgrace to Lincoln is infuriating. I can see the Onion article now: "Bob Dole informs George W. Bush that 'I knew Abe Lincoln and you sir, are no Abe Lincoln'".
- yacks, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2Saddam Hussein was hated too... so what's his point?
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2It's shocking that a former member of BushCo. would have such little grasp of history and reality.
- Calann, on 02/29/2008, -0/+1If Bush had been president back then, when the confederate army fired on Fort Sumter, he would have invaded Canada.
