Anyone who feels the need to see this flick for research purposes should buy a ticket for another offering in the multiplex and then go to the room showing Sicko. Don't add to the numbers or to Mr.Moore's bottom line. - RuffRidr, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7First - nope. I work hard for my money, and I'm not giving one penny of it to Moore. Which reminds me, if Moore is all for socializing everything, why doesn't he really make an impact. Give his movie away for free. He'd reach a much larger audience that way. But sadly, he's too ***** greedy to do something like that.
Second - Yes, and now he is using that fact to advertise his movie (to make more money for himself). What a humanitarian!
Third - I donate my time to an organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in the court systems. These are usually the children of strung out drug addicts living off of the system. - jet2work, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The debate about this movie on the Daily Krap is hilarious. All this guy Leffler is doing is giving Michael Moore the "Michael Moore" treatment. MM is dealt with in the exact same fashion as the subjects in his movies. Only I am assuming that Leffler doesn't edit as much or take things out of context like MM. And even if he does STFW. That's what MM has made millions doing. Distorting the truth, manipulating people, and editing things out of context. What has got the "progressives" so riled up that they want to CENSOR C-Span and Fox news. So much for being "progressive." Maybe Michael Moore can buy some "Hypocrisy Offsets" from Al Gore
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Those aren't "objections" you fruitbat, they are descriptions of things portrayed in the trailer. I'm guessing the filmmaker put his most effective arguments in the trailer, in order to attract viewers, and in light of that I'd say his argument is pretty weak.

After Sicko nauseated the healthy, the filmmaker Kevin Leffler traveled to Cuba to put the lie to Michael Moore's claim that the Cuban health care system is superior to that of the US, for the average citizen. Moore filmed American victims of 9/11 who claim they could not get good health care in America and walked them into a modern hospital in Miami and asked for the same health care an average Cuban would receive. They travels a long distance on a boat about like the one Gilligan took for a three hour ride many years ago, except these guys landed in the lap of Fidel and Raoul's luxurious hospital.
You have to see this movie which is currently showing this week at the AMC theater at the Mall of America in Miami. Other hypocrisies are exposed in this refreshing, funny movie by Leffler, a registered and loyal Democrat, high school classmate of Michael Moore, who will vote for Obama, but NO MOORE. - jet2work, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0You only have to buy 1 share of stock to get the annual report or attend the stockholders meeting. I know because every year a rep from the sierra club shows up at my stockholder meeting and make a TOTAL ASS of him or herself.
