- kkss, on 01/28/2008, -0/+17Or it means higher prices passed along to the consumer!
- libertyfriend, on 01/28/2008, -0/+13I hate those commericals too and I just let VISA know. I wouldn't be too surprised to see companies like VISA start implementing RFID chip implant payment methods.
- Jimmyb207, on 01/29/2008, -0/+9I stopped using "credit " cards completely over 10 years ago, 1997 to be exact. But...I do have a "debit" card. I saw the TRAP that was the credit industry back then. I saw how the poor were the ones most victimized. Start out cards that had great rates, but if one payment is late, that nice low rate shoots up to 20% - 25% and a financial death spiral ensues the low income person caught in the soulless machines trap. More people must wake up to this unbelievable consumerism nightmare that has become America. We are being brainwash to feel as if we are not worthy unless we have our atv's, snowmobiles, hot tubs, motorcycles ($20,000 Harleys),I phones, 50 inch plasma TV's with super dooper sound system and in effect just about everything that is the most expensive because "IT'S THE BEST." There is a very real danger as we move toward a cashless society. That is, when the ***** hits the fan and the electronic credit grid goes down someday, those without cash in hand will be ***** out of luck. If the cards don't work.....you have no money and you don't need to have much of an imagination to realize that you ended up in yet another trap.
- jenniferstruth, on 01/29/2008, -0/+4I have no credit cards no check books no bank accounts and no bills. Get out of their slave grid and you will feel much better. I hate those commercials about using cash as well. soon we will see them about not having an RFID. just wait.
Peace, Love and Respect,

Only once have I ever been to one that approved in the speed depicted in the commercial, at an airport Burger King, oddly enough.
- lateralus, on 01/29/2008, -0/+1That economic stimulus tax break will go straight to my last credit card debt. Never again.
