Scarborough, Carlson Call Obama Love a 9th Grade Love Affair
crooksandliars.com — Sweet Jesus, I hate Tucker Carlson. And Joe Scarborough isn ’t exactly far down that list either. However, this exchange between the two of them was so far outside anything that that we in the reality-based community could recognize that I actually have to ponder out loud what color the sky is in their world.

They don't need to worry, the press will turn on Obama once they know he's been built up. That's waht they do.- nsareadthis, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2You are so right, except Scarborough and Tucker have been piling on Obama already. Scar still brings up Wright every day. Every morning Scarborough praises Clinton and calls her his "girlfriend," not because he actually likes or agrees with anything about her, but because he will do/say anything he can to help the GOP and by trashing Obama and building up Clinton (not unlike Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter et al) they want to prolong the Democratic campaign as long as possible so the candidates have to spend time and money against eachother instead of McCain. If Hillary would have been in the lead they would have heaped scorn on her and built up Obama.

- korvan504521, on 05/09/2008, -2/+1I don't know about the press, but I do know that many of my friends have fallen for this. I have no problem with anyone supporting a political candidate because they support their views, but the sort of crazy fanboyism that seems to follow Obama around is disgusting. So many of them have no idea what he stands for either, its almost a rehash of 2004 with Kerry's "I'm not Bush" campaign, only now its "I have hope!" campagin. Well la de da, mister Obama. You may be the best candidate of the choices, but that doesn't mean I'm falling for this hoop la. Tell me you're not going to raise my taxes. Tell me how you're going to end inflation. Tell me how you're going to bring the troops home without leaving Iraq to flounder under a sea of terrorists and criminals.
Don't feed me any more of this Hope *****. I ain't got none left. Give me realism, even if its answers I don't want to hear.- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2"You may be the best candidate of the choices, but that doesn't mean I'm falling for this hoop la. "
What? You just admitted he's the best candidate (and as he's by far the least full of ***** he definitely is). Why would you vote for anybody else??
And if its realism you want, how about the reality that John McCain wants to extend America's most costly and pointless war for another 100 years, ensuring our descent into recession and our eventual enslavement by China?
How about the realism that John McCain wanted to sell the security of our nation's ports to an ISLAMIC country, a measure that even "America's most liberal senator" Obama voted NO on.?

- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1so... would that make a Republican's fascination with McWalkingCane statutory rape?
