- corbettkroehler, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1That's right! The gax tax holiday is poor fiscal policy and poor environmental policy. Here in Central Florida, I didn't notice a real change in traffic patterns or bicycle ridership until we cleared $3.50 per gallon. Big oil knows this! Now, I'm wide open to a windfall profits tax for Exxon but not at the expense of the progress we finally have begun to make on driving patterns and fuel consumption!
