- inactive, on 09/26/2008, -0/+12The time has come for America to look back at the Republican candidates in the debates. They told us everything was fine and the economy was strong and there was no need to worry and now they say we must do this to avoid the depression they predicted was not coming.
Ron Paul was right then and he is right now and we MUST keep the pressure on Congress. Call them, e-mail them, fax them and keep telling them to just say no to risky bailouts with no promise of success.
The wall street investment bankers took the candy, they now need to take their lumps.
No million dollar paychecks, no multi-million dollar bonus package, no golden parachute.
You don't ask for $700 billion and then sip expensive Brandy on your yacht.

Talks fell apart as the voice of sanity somehow slipped into the meeting.
0bama wanted the deal to pass and all of the credit go to him and all of the blame go to Republicans.McSame sat at his end of the table and spoke quietly to 0bama and the Democrat half of the D&R gang and immediately angered 0bama so much he could be heard screaming by reporters outside the meeting room. I think it is funny that the media points to McSame and his temper when it was 0bama and his temper that was the most obvious in that meeting.
Maybe he was just mad he didn't get a smoke break??
In any event, what is happening today is exactly what Ron Paul talked about a year ago when McSame mocked him and claimed the economy and the financial system in our Great Nation was sound.
