Ron Paul: Scaring Them To Death
lewrockwell.com — "That 25% scared the GOP regulars to death. They were in a panic from the beginning, doing everything they could to squelch the Paul people, and try to present a face of 'unity' around McCain to the public. But what the Paul people here have discovered is that the GOP is simply a corrupt and hollow shell run by third-rate hacks."

- rmtatum, on 06/09/2008, -0/+1Thanks! Liberty will prevail!
- Wundur, on 06/03/2008, -7/+41Ron Paul will work for the people, peace, freedom and the Constitution.
McCain will work for the military corporates, neocons, Federal Reserve, endless war and mayhem.- n0gnuz, on 06/04/2008, -2/+13...and Barack will work to expand the power of the Israel lobby, the nanny state, and funding everything through higher taxes.
- oconnor11, on 06/03/2008, -5/+27How about marching in from the west as well!!! There are quite a few freedom-loving states out west. Can you imagine a massive Paul crowd coming in from all directions on foot?
- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -7/+6No, because there aren't that many Paulbots that are motivated enough to get off the internet for 5 minutes.
- Pssdoff, on 06/04/2008, -1/+8I've traveled to Paul rallies when they are relatively nearby, and I'll be traveling to DC for the march. I was in Philly when 5,000 people stood in the cold to hear Ron Paul's plan to return to following the Constitution.
- BrapAllgood, on 06/04/2008, -1/+7Let's see here...oconnor11 has a grand total of, um, 68 comments. Hortnon has a grand total of 8223 comments at the time of this writing. This is a clear case of projection. kthxbai

- SpikeLee, on 06/03/2008, -24/+12Lew Rockwell? The guy that ghostwrote the racist Ron Paul newsletters?
- plimpton777, on 06/03/2008, -15/+10Unfortunately, yes.
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -7/+18the newsletters weren't even racist, just intentionally taken out of context as a zionist smear campaign by Kirchick (friend of Israel). Zionists and the ADL love to try and falsely accuse people of racism, its their only game.
- lazerus9, on 06/03/2008, -4/+9They are not worth the energy it takes to respond to them Owl.
- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -12/+6Yes yes, we know, all the problems Paul faced were because of the Jews. We get it.
- jcm267, on 06/04/2008, -11/+6Would you like for me to post some excerpts from the newsletters, owl?
- Todash19, on 06/04/2008, -1/+8Don feed the trolls, Owl
- SpikeLee, on 06/03/2008, -16/+11I read thos newsletters. Nothing taken out of context at all.
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -4/+14*****, you are a liar. you lose. go back to little green snotballs.
TROLL- ssn697, on 06/03/2008, -15/+9Ah yes, because anyone who doesn't agree with you is a "Zionist" (nice cover codeword, NOT) troll.
I have the newsletters. I have read them. They are racist, bigoted, homophobic, fear mongering pieces of *****.
Hey! That describes you too! - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -5/+11Here is another racist troll from the bury brigade to spread lies. This article must be true, because you scared pieces of excrement are here to smear your filth. go back to your bridge, zionist troll (what was I just saying about how zionists have to falsely accuse patriots of racism?)
- jcm267, on 06/04/2008, -8/+6I wouldn't go around calling people names, owl. I may just be inclined to point out that you're a closeted white nationalist who dugg a David Duke submission. Ooops!
- ssn697, on 06/03/2008, -15/+9Ah yes, because anyone who doesn't agree with you is a "Zionist" (nice cover codeword, NOT) troll.
- reed311, on 06/03/2008, -14/+10It's weird because Ron Paul claimed in 1996 that they were taken out of context and now he claims he has "no idea" who wrote them and he doesn't condone the content.
Now, it's one form of delusional to think that Ron had absolutely nothing to do with it; but it really takes the cake when you claim they were taken out of context.
Either way, at the very least (and racism aside), the newsletters prove that he is in no way capable of running the country as he can't even run a small-time newsletter properly.
It's also unfair to claim that Lew Rockwell wrote them, because, unless Ron is a liar, he would have known that such an out-spoken supporter/former employee was the author; and Ron has claimed he has "no idea" which means he can't even name a suspect.- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -4/+6More fabricated crap from the zionist bury brigade. Your trolling history speaks for itself.
- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -7/+7Owl is too lazy or too stupid to actually form an intelligent response, so we get this kind of ***** when reed took the time to actually make a point.
All of reed's claims are verifiable and provable. - inobla, on 06/04/2008, -5/+5"Owl is too lazy or too stupid to actually form an intelligent response,"
The correct answer would be stupid.
- kemp34, on 06/04/2008, -1/+1Justin Raimando debunks the out-of-context smears of racism:

- meuse, on 06/03/2008, -4/+12Those "racist newsletters" weren't the only Zionist smear attempt.
That New York Times blog also tried to claim Ron Paul regularly has dinner with Nazis at a Thai restaurant in Virginia. Paul had a "Nazi problem", they claimed. They took the mad rantings of the "Commander of the American National Socialist Workers’ Party" at face value without so much as asking the Paul campaign for comment.- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -7/+6The New York Times...what was that word...'blog'? Oh, right...
- kemp34, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3Yeah I saw that trash. Amazing lack of judgment on the part of the NYT. No surprise.
- StingingNettle, on 06/03/2008, -3/+24Other states are doing great! ""Counter to anything you'll hear from the media, the Washington State GOP convention was a great victory for the forces of freedom. Despite the opposition of the leadership, the imposition of unfair rules and abundant cheating and dirty tricks by the McCain campaign and party leadership, we elected 10% of the state?s delegation to national, made some great changes to the platform, and adopted a resolution renouncing all military actions not authorized by a formal declaration of war. Repeat: IT IS NOW THE OFFICIAL POSITION OF THE WASHINGTON STATE REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT ONLY MILITARY ACTIONS AUTHORIZED BY A FORMAL DECLARATION OF WAR ARE LEGITIMATE." http://www.taoeconomics.com/home/index.php?name=Ne ...

- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -7/+6I think you're insane.
- lazerus9, on 06/04/2008, -0/+4Listen Hard-on
If I believed that the moon was made of blue cheese and tried to convince everyone that it was, that would be crazy, but if I was convinced that it was and told everyone that some ''supreme moon being'' had told me that it was and that I was "chosen" to command everyone to believe and either convert them or kill them! then you would have the situation we are facing today.
It does not matter if I believe in Satanism, it is enough that very wealthy and powerful psychopaths do! They worship and believe in Satan and are willing to inflict their beliefs on the world!

- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -5/+9I don't think the story is exaclty as it's presented here. No other source tells it this way. They all say he showed up to give a speech, but since he wasn't the nominee (and recieved only 4 delegates, 1/9 of MN's total), he didn't get to speak. This article implies he was already scheduled to give a speech and wasn't allowed to at the last minute.
Any corroboration from a legitimate news source?- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -6/+5You must mean you want a news source owned by one of these treasonous corporations, acting as a propaganda mouthpiece for the criminal neocons in the white house??

You're an idiot. I searched all the libertarian sites I could find, all the blogs I could find, not a single corroboration. Even the site that ranted about how the Paulbots changed the MN GOP's position on declared war didn't make this claim. I didn't even bother with the sites you're talking about because I know you're too stupid and too paranoid to accept them.

- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -4/+5Ok, that source verifies my version, that he just kinda showed up. The article says, and I quote:
"He was rather unceremoniously kicked out of the room reserved for his speech (kicked out by the Party leaders who sensed Disorder and Fresh Thinking)."
Whearas he WASN'T INVITED in the first place. So how was there a room reserved for him? And if that had happened, why didn't he mention that in the video interview?
These are questions for anyone that wants to answer that doubts the story reported in the video...

- CoolHandLuke70, on 06/04/2008, -5/+12The Ron Paul revolution has only just begun!
- Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -9/+9And ended. Several months ago. You must've missed the memo.
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -5/+6unlike the top down authoritarian organization you worship, the RP Revolution is a true grassroots movement, and will continue to gain strength, regardless of your pathetic memo..
- inobla, on 06/04/2008, -5/+8Actually, it's already lost momentum dramatically. Perhaps you should read the memo next time instead of assuming it's too pathetic to bother.
I love the "true grassroots movement" buzz word. - Hortnon, on 06/04/2008, -5/+8You should gotcheck http://paulcash.slact.net to check on the--- Oh, he shut it down. Wonder why?...
- jcm267, on 06/04/2008, -5/+8The Ron Paul rEVOLution isn't quite over. Just do a search for "Ron Paul" in the title at Stormfront.org. There's even one active thread with over 15,000 posts and over a million views!!! Ron Paul's rEVOLution lives on... at Stormfront!!!!!
- inobla, on 06/04/2008, -5/+6Hey Owl, new memo! Don't disCarD it this time. :)

- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -1/+4Look at all the trolls from the bury brigade trying to dissuade people from having loyalty to the principals of honesty, integrity and constitution.
What a bunch of scum sucking anti-American bootlickers. your 3 puppet senators may have won this election, but as more people wake up to the reality of how our country is sliding into fascism, they will see Ron Paul makes real sense, and you idiots are shills for the criminals who have hijacked our country.

- WTFppl, on 06/04/2008, -1/+4There is not enough people in this country who care how fuct our government is. I like Ron Paul, but he does not have a snowball chance in hell. This is not because of Dr. Paul. This is because a majority of Americans are afraid of change, no matter the cost!
I vote for sharp drop-off in the United States populace!- Bilabrin, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3The problem is that most people have been bought off with fancy toys to ignore politics and stay home and play so most people never participate in politics. All we need is to establish a plurality in the remaining fraction and we can take over and return to what's right.
- WTFppl, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Than we must weave Diggnation into every organization possible!
- Bilabrin, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Also just know that "a sharp drop off in the U.S. populace" has horrible implications.....unless you mean the death of the boomers in which case I wholeheartedly agree. The only good thing about inflation is that because the benifits are fixed, their ability to leech my life quality away through taxation to support them is greatly reduced.
I link to Digg on myspace and my blog to get ppl on here but I think you just have to be "that" type of person to enjoy it.
