It is quite possible to be a humanitarian, defend Israel's right to exist and still be critical of the government when it causes indiscriminate harm to others. Prager may be right about a lot of things but he is also a demagogue and intolerant of differences of opinion. Granted the left often responds to injustice with the same intolerance which is why the left in Israel and many Jews on the left in the Diaspora can be both right and left or to be more accurate, neither left nor right. Following a line of march is stupid no matter how right it feels. You can't really judge in the manner of a Solomon without putting yourself in someone elses shoes first. Prager and Horowitz and others like them should be as discredited as their narrow-mindedness. Remember Hillel said (to paraphrase) "If we are only for ourselves, what are we?" ... Even as he said, "If we are not for ourselves who will be?" Therefore we can be neither without being both. And Prager has forgotten that very Jewish precept.
