There's a difference between a racist and a bigot. A racist inherently believes that certain races are better than others, and he is incapable of judging a person on an individual basis. A bigot, on the other hand, has no tolerance for the negative stereotypes of certain races, but he is capable of judging any person on an individual basis.
Take me, for instance. I can't stand the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world, yet I've got a thing for black chicks. I'm totally intolerant of illegal immigration, yet I believe that the 9's and 10's (hot Latino chicks) should be able to stay, no strings attached. If you want to get right down to it, I don't like men of any race. They should all be deported.
