- Yobotz, on 05/15/2008, -1/+13The post-mortem "diagnosis" of persistent vegetative state was hardly conclusive, and certainly wasn't before Terri was starved to death. Under all circumstances, human life should be afforded the benefit of the doubt. Particularly shameful in this case is that there were many loving people who were anxious to take on "burden" of her care, but those who wanted her dead prevailed.

But, because our politicians have gutted the constitution and Bill of Rights, and have tossed aside their oaths of office to protect and defend it, we have a situation where NO AMERICAN is safe if someone wants us dead. Even our politicians are likely to back up the complaint that we're too much of a burden and there is no longer protection of law. Look at the Constitutional records of the candidates we have now and see if they have taken any care at all with our Constitutional rights. You will see they have NOT.
