Pelosi: Congress Will Not Fund Escalation If Bush Does Not Justify It (VID)

thinkprogress.org — ThinkProgress has video of Speaker Pelosi this morning throwing down the gauntlet on Iraq. Pelosi said that while Democrats will fully support U.S. forces already in Iraq, Congress will not fund an escalation of U.S. troops if President Bush cannot justify it.

  • siszam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is no justification for more troops. I don't care what Bush says. The Democrats don't need to give in to Bush at all. It sounds like Pelosi is setting up wiggle room and I don't like that at all.
