They like to complain that if they're criticized, then their rights are somehow being violated or people aren't being tolerant enough towards them. In particular, there seem to be a lot of Christians who think that their religious beliefs can never, ever be criticized. Note the people on digg who said that questioning Palin's religious beliefs amounts to bigotry against Christians, whereas questioning whether an atheist is qualified to hold public office because he lacks those religious beliefs is just being a good, patriotic American.
