The sky is thick with portents of impending military rule in order to suppress any organized resistance to this unprecedented plunder.
We will know that the Wounded Knee option is on the table when our rulers demand of us what they required of the conquered Sioux: The surrender of our personal firearms.
It is a glorious fact that America's private gun owners possess more firearms than the combined armies and police forces of the entire world. It is that fact, and perhaps it alone, that explains why the Regime hasn't succeeded -- yet -- in transforming our country into one giant Rez. We should never assume that this cannot change, in a hurry. - inactive, on 01/03/2009, -0/+18That's a well told story. What more of affront to the indian people than that lithograph could they have come up with? Its clear the same pathos are directing things still.
Manifest destiny... It doesn't look like we're heading anywhere that a history book will be required for a couple billion years... then again there is a war going on in another realm that has yet to play out w/heavy odds on our side winning. - chessmasterjoe, on 01/03/2009, -0/+13After the killings in the so called civil war our brave soldiers had no trouble killing women and children. I am afraid that these same political and military leaders are in control of our country now. If we allow them to take away our defensive weapons they will do the exact same thing to us useless eaters that they did to the poor Lakotah Indians. As for me give me liberty or give me death. Life as a slave is not worth living.
If anybody is interested in helping the Lakotah Sioux in there struggle to obtain there long sought after freedom go to: http://www.republicoflakotah.com/ - inactive, on 01/03/2009, -0/+5"If anybody is interested in helping the Lakotah Sioux in there struggle to obtain there long sought after freedom go to: "
Where do the American people go to obtain their long sought after freedom? Sounds like the Sioux are our brothers in arms. They were swindled by the government just as the rest of us have been. There is strength in numbers. Should we all band together and say ENOUGH, they couldn't stop us. - sheeplescareme, on 01/03/2009, -0/+5http://www.youtube.com/user/RussellMeansFreedom
