The very fact that liberals want higher taxes to support all their goofy ideas is proof of what I say.
Until Obama was called on it, he gave only 3% of his income to charity. Once the spotlight was shown on his tight-fisted giving, he increased it to 6%. I give 10 percent, as do many, many conservatives who tithe.
Imagine my surprise one year to find out that I, an enlisted man in the military, gave more to charity -- more dollars, not a greater percentage of my income -- than did multi-millionaire Al Gore.
I attribute this to the fact that liberals seem to lack the gene responsible for shame or embarrassment.
There are some sweeping generalizations that can be made with full confidence. For instance, judging by your comment, all liberals are mean-spirited, hateful and ignorant of facts. - GunsGermsSteel, on 09/12/2008, -0/+1Either Olbermann is rolling in dough or he just made a severe miscalculation about how many times per day Palin can lie about her record.
- ligyron, on 09/12/2008, -0/+1He must have a lot of money

- jackill, on 09/11/2008, -2/+2First, I think Olbermann is on to something that would serve as a powerful symbol of the level of deceit and distortion of the facts the McCain ticket is achieving at each campaign stop. If a large number of Democrats donated to a charity each time the McCain/Palin ticket said something either misleading or completely false then we could track it with 'receipts to date' type of telethon. LoneRanger has a fine idea - we could donate it to Planned Parenthood. Keep the good ideas coming buddy - thanks for reaching across the aisle.
Second, regarding StepCousin's comment, do you find any irony in taking the time to post a comment "Who cares what Olbermann thinks?" to an article dealing with what Olbermann thinks? Maybe it is just me?
Damn it feels good to be liberal...do you like apples?? - SoopaflySAM, on 09/12/2008, -2/+2My articles are better than Mr Baby *****
- maxtrix, on 09/11/2008, -4/+3Every time Palin lies, a kitten gets his wings.
- IllBeBack, on 09/12/2008, -2/+1"all other liberals"
ALL? Your sweeping generalization reveals you to be an idiot.
Like all republicans. - HiCaP, on 09/12/2008, -3/+1bathtub boy, what an *****
- paradigmxx, on 09/12/2008, -3/+1Olbermann will be poor and MrBabyMan will continue scripts.
- inactive, on 09/11/2008, -4/+1I was actually thinking it was to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
- inactive, on 09/11/2008, -8/+4Who cares what Olbermann thinks? MSNBC just demoted him for being a big loser, via Tom Brokaw
- inactive, on 09/11/2008, -10/+3I'm guessing his charity of choice is Planned Parenthood. And for a guy who makes four million bucks a year, that's a pretty paltry offering. Either he doubts his own convictions, or like all other liberals, he believes charity begins in someone else's home.
