- PCloadLetterWTF, on 05/15/2008, -2/+19This is already on the front page... http://digg.com/political_opinion/Keith_Olbermann_ ... and was also already re-re submitted here http://digg.com/political_opinion/Keith_Olberman_S ...
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -8/+19Giving up golf, wow. What a way to render solidarity with the families of the soldiers you sent off to get shot up for a lie.
Seeing that ***** charged with war crimes and thrown in jail to rot is something that only lives in dreams. - pedro9, on 05/15/2008, -4/+12It was great, but one important thing he left out. Bush is the only president in HISTORY that hasn't attended a military funeral. What a piece of trash.
- CTD3, on 05/15/2008, -6/+15Bush unforgivably the most catastrophic lie driven failure of a president.
Keith minces no words about Bush's legacy. - fixin, on 05/15/2008, -7/+14Keith Olbermann: President Obama's Press Secretary.
At least I can hope. - AmelFl, on 05/15/2008, -7/+12Obama should give Keith the job as the Secretary of State!
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -5/+9I have a small nit to pick. Olberman should have said "Shut the ***** up!" It was Lenny Bruce who said:
""Take away the right to say "*****" and you take away the right to say "***** the government." —Lenny Bruce, 1923 - 1966)" - OC73, on 05/15/2008, -2/+5Yeah, make him the head of the whiny bitch department.
- cyberprunes, on 05/15/2008, -0/+3No, it's Bush's fault (and members of Congress) that we went to war in Iraq. He is responsible for sending thousands of American's to their deaths and for the deaths of 100's of thousands of Iraqi's. He did this by selling the American people on cherry picked intelligence.
- NewOntario, on 05/15/2008, -7/+11Keith Olbermann for Obama's cabinet.
- Rudzz34, on 05/15/2008, -0/+3But the huffington post needed their story on the front page too.
- breeder, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3it is on the front page... its at the top of hot!
- krisdye, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2This is an absolutely incredible special comment. Bush gets destroyed.
- EricMiIIer, on 07/10/2009, -5/+7where is the standing ovation button?
- Canadiangeezer, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2Olbermann was overwhelmingly supported in the main posting just a few hours ago and now we have this posting and blogspot with a few people pissing on Keith -- What gives.
PS: Olbermann is one of the very few American mainstream media men with any sense of decency and honesty ... don't screw him over Huffington Post! - themonkman, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2No, it's not entirely his fault. This ***** has been brewing for decades. It is his fault that he chose to exacerbate the situation exponentially since he's been in office. There has been more unrest in the Middle East since he took the helm than almost any other time in recent history. Coincidence? I think not.
- miwi33040, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3BUSH DESERVES A 3RD TERM- PRISON.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -3/+5You, good sir, do not know your presidents.
- bittergunowner, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1I really appreciate that Olbermann diggs deep enough to find out that Bush has staged another lie. Bush hurting his knee correlates better to his withdrawal from golf (Olbermann report) than does what Bush states as the the incident that prompted him to give up golf (2 months later on film golfing?). There have been people who hated anyone not in their club or religion for a long time, but it took Bush to get most of the world against us.
- cJw314, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1This was awesome; I applaud you, Mr. Olbermann. XD
- cJw314, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Meh... you respect the office, not the person.
- themonkman, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1You know, I just love Olberman. He cuts through the ***** and spin of Washington politics like a hot knife through Velveeta. With how angry this guy gets (at least on tv), one would think he's well on his way to a heart attack. I hope they keep this guy on tv for a long time to come, regardless of who is in the Whitehouse or Congress.
- Rixar13, on 05/15/2008, -5/+6Thank you Keith Olbermann, thank you for expressing how I feel so articulately. I voiced VP in one blog but, "Press Secretary" would be more appropriate as I see above. Thanx for that one fixin.....
- PlainJoe, on 05/15/2008, -5/+7This should be on the front page! It takes guts to speak out truth so abrasively.
- CTD3, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Think in terms of figure of speech and volume of humanity effected .
You were thinking of whom? - StarkRaven8, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1If you pay close enough attention to the video he damn near does. There's a bit of pause and you can see his wheels spinning and almost an "f", which becomes "hell".
Beauty job Keith! Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!!!! - shaka999, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I usually like Olbermann but this one was off base.
- OC73, on 05/15/2008, -4/+5Bush to Olbermann, "Keith who?"
- ericdano, on 05/15/2008, -3/+4Ogerman........again. Wasn't this same crap put on Digg like 10 hours ago and got buried? It's lame. Ogerman needs to follow his own advice and STFU.
- sanotaan, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2congratulations to keith olbermann for picking the low hanging fruit
seems outrage is the one card he knows how to play (a strategy he might have taken out of mayor daley's book) - ericdano, on 05/15/2008, -4/+4No no no. Ogerman wouldn't get the ratings he does if he actually tried to hold intelligent discourse. Has he ever? EVER? EVER? This guy wouldn't know the meaning of it.
- yodaj007, on 05/15/2008, -2/+2Well, you could kiss me instead?
- The_Red_Monkey, on 05/15/2008, -4/+5And when a conservative does this its hate speech and he must be stopped! Anyone who is ignorant enough to think its Bush's fault that the middle east hates us is a jackass and needs to read more.
- ashabot, on 05/15/2008, -5/+7George W. Bush is a war criminal and until he is tried in an international court of law, CONVICTED AND SENTENCED TO PRISON, the world must bare his stain.
- jhart3, on 05/16/2008, -0/+0yes. yahoo.com
- EatingPie, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1"This should be on the front page! It takes guts to speak out truth so abrasively."
Except that what he says is not true. He states the Bush did this to show solidarity, but Bush NEVER said that. Olberman is actually twisting the truth, not giving the truth.
-Pie - TotalHalibut, on 05/15/2008, -2/+2As much as I like reading Huffpost, it would be nice if they didn't Digg absolutely everything regardless of whether or not the piece in question already exists. This is a duplicate, the special comment in question, which is what we care about, not the blogspam associated with it, is the most popular article today. Can't see that? Then stay out of 'journalism'.
- PlainJoe, on 05/15/2008, -2/+1Anyone have the hyperlink?
- OC73, on 05/15/2008, -2/+1Ayman al Zawahiri couldn't have said it better.
- sanotaan, on 05/15/2008, -3/+2olbermann doesn't deserve that kind of dignity
when he can behave civilly (remember the sportscenter days?)--hell, even speak articulately--we can reconsider. - inactive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+0oh, wow, he said *****, he must really mean it, he must be right, just look at how puffed up he gets.
what a lame ass phony. - jhart3, on 05/15/2008, -6/+6Bushwhacked!! Watch the full interview of Bush at Yahoo
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -2/+0I'm the commenter formerly known as Thefascist, my profile and all my comments were deleted after I left a comment critisizing Doubermann for what he said. That was yesterday 5/14.08. I may have called him a retarded pussy ass liondog. But that's no reason to delete my profile.
- jcellis5, on 05/15/2008, -5/+3When Bush retires he should move to the Green Zone, which as everyone knows is famous for its beautiful golf courses. That's why they call it the Green Zone, Sir. When you get there, Sir, just tell 'em that people told you there was good golf to be had in Baghdad.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -7/+6Mr. Olberman I could kiss you on the lips! THANK YOU!
I wish I could DIGG this article 100 times more! - away8907, on 05/15/2008, -4/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j2YDq6FkVE
- EatingPie, on 05/15/2008, -7/+5The only reason Bush said he gave up golf was because he was asked directly.
"Q Mr. President, you haven't been golfing in recent years. Is that related to Iraq?"
Bush said he thought it was disrespectful to be on the golf course during a time of war. What exactly is wrong with that? He made NO statement that it builds "solidarity," that is putting words into his mouth. He did say it was "disrespectful," and once again, what is wrong with that... he's right.
Or would Olbermann rather have Bush out on the golf course instead?
This is partisan politics at its worse. Were it someone else -- say Obama -- who made these statements, they would be interpreted completely differently.
-Pie - jgwrmw, on 05/15/2008, -6/+4This is priceless. I love the way he never ever called him President Bush only Mr. Bush.
- Jan33, on 05/15/2008, -4/+2business as usual
