- bullcutter, on 10/14/2009, -4/+57Sean Hannity saying something dumb and inflammatory? Wow, there's a shocker. What's more shocking is that anybody still takes this sad clown seriously.
- MisterBadIdea, on 10/15/2009, -5/+41George W. Bush couldn't even keep peaceful relations with America's ALLIES.
Even in the line of professional trolls like Hannity, this is offensively retarded. - LKnight, on 10/15/2009, -3/+26They can say more or less whatever they want - the boss wants viewers, and years back now Fox got a judge to rule that it's OK to lie while reporting the news. Seriously.

Murdoch's laughing all the way to the bank at American double standards, and the naivete of people who drive up his ratings and ad revenues. - Bowie, on 10/15/2009, -3/+24I have but one comment for Mr. Hannity.

I'll award Bush a Nobel Prize after he goes on trial at The Hague for war crimes. - ParadiscaCorbas, on 10/14/2009, -6/+24Obama has done more than people are giving him credit for. There was a lot he did BEFORE he was elected. That is what the Nobel committee was basing their decision on. Barack didn't just suddenly spring up full grown out of nowhere on Election Day and he was accomplishing things before Election Day.
- BasalCellBossk, on 10/15/2009, -1/+18LOL
here one is, folks, the last of a dying breed. The true believer!
An endangered species. - Cowzeetgrass, on 10/14/2009, -3/+16Not picking political sides, but what many people fail to take into account is the amount of fallout left behind from the previous president, which the new elect has to deal with, and try to fix. I never liked GW, but he made me laugh.
- Bowie, on 10/15/2009, -2/+15
"DURRR !!! HE KEPT US SAVE FROM TURR!!!!"
...well, yeah. Bush certainly did.. With the exception of that whole 9/11 thing, where he was too preoccupied with the Herculean task of reading "My Pet Goat" to some schoolkids for another seven minutes. You know... instead of... Oh, I dunno, GIVING THE ORDER AS COMMANDER AND CHIEF TO SCRAMBLE SOME ***** FIGHTER JETS TO BE PREPARED TO TAKE DOWN THE SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH PLANES BEFORE ANOTHER ***** OF PEOPLE DIED. - theCoffee, on 10/15/2009, -1/+13Sounds reasonable. Let me try:
Under the watch of George W. Bush:
America's economy tanked in a matter of days, it had the worst human aid disaster in American history and America's reputation abroad was spurned due to human rights violations. - cbfhtu68, on 10/15/2009, -2/+14Is there an IgNobel version of the Pulitzer that can be awarded to FOX News as a group?
For their excellence in journalistic integrity.
For always putting the truth ahead of person opinions. - inactive, on 10/15/2009, -5/+17Of course Hannity would.
He'd give it to PW Botha for 'uniting south africa under apartheid'.
He'd give it to Edhum Barrack for having the guts for using illegal white phosphorus weapons on a civilian population.
He'd give it to Kenneth Lay for rigging the energy markets.
He'd give it to Timothy McVeigh if he were alive today and decided to bomb an ACORN building.
He'd give it to Swiss Banks for having the courage to shield Americans from having to pay their fair share of taxes.
The guy is so ***** insane, it doesn't surprise me he would award the Nobel prize to people who clearly don't deserve it. - spongya77, on 10/15/2009, -0/+10Hey, you're not really arguing that Bush did NOT commit war crimes. You smear Obama as a counterargument. It does not work. Right-wing retards should realize something: just because some other guy's dirty, does not excuse your own crimes. Bush invaded a country in a war of aggression: Jodl got the rope for that. He ordered torture, and probably assasinations, too. He let the looting of Iraq proceed; and countless of priceless artifacts disappeared. He's responsible for the civil war that has erupted because of this invasion, and hence all the civilian deaths resulting from it. He shredded the Magna Carta and your Constitution. He also made possible for private companies to steal billions of dollars. (These two are not war crimes, but crimes, nevertheless.) If Bush wasn't the president of the US, but of some ***** little country in the ME, you guys were screaming for his trial. You clearly can't think for yourself, but unfortunately, according to the international law, these are war crimes and crimes against peace. (This is where you claim that the international law is a joke. After that I point out that in that case why did the US try to justify the invasion of Iraq based on international law? Also: why does it always talk about upholding it? Plus a bonus question: in this case are you prepared to apologize to all the executed Nazis? After all, the international law is a joke, and what they did was legal in the Third Reich.)
- Bowie, on 10/15/2009, -2/+12Aaaaand, under the careful watch of our beloved George W. Bush, the number of people who died unnecessarrily in the region rose from 0 to 600,000 by some estimates. If you want to talk about the human toll, that's over 2x more than Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
Here's a hint. These are not people who wished to be "rescued" from their leaders. The Iraqi's don't want democracy. Neither do the Afghanis. They just want to be left alone to be at peace. They don't particularly give a ***** what package that peacefulness comes in. Dictatorships, even opressive ones, are culturally acceptable to them, and it's their own responsibility to change their government anyway, not ours. If it didn't suit them, they would have changed it already.
You know, like WE did in 1776? - shadydentist, on 10/15/2009, -0/+9Hahahah
I like this guy. - inactive, on 10/15/2009, -0/+9hannity is a moron. bush is a war criminal.
- cyrix, on 10/15/2009, -2/+10The site shows what he promised, what he broke, what he's done, what is in progress, etc....
http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/ - ZenFountain, on 10/15/2009, -1/+9Shocked, awed and befuddled at the ridiculousness of Fox employees /s. Can we stop calling them journalist, pundits or panelist and just call them what they are, entertainers? Jerry The King Lawler could host a show on Fox and get better results, these guys are amateurs and boring.
- JigoroKano, on 10/15/2009, -0/+8I'm not too familiar with Iraq but the last elections in Afghanistan were as rigged as the last elections in Iran.
- bmiami69, on 10/15/2009, -0/+7he will do anything i mean ANYTHINg and he will say anything i mean ANYTHING to get any attention
- 17999, on 10/15/2009, -1/+8People on the right who aren't complete ***** should hate Sean Hannity, as he gives the left someone to hang the repubtard tag on. What a jerk.
I'd like to see him and Olberman in a deathmatch, where neither wins. - TrouserJazz, on 10/15/2009, -2/+9Wait, what?
- spookyttws, on 10/15/2009, -2/+8Although I'm a huge Obama supporter I don't quite see why he was given the Nobel Peace Prize (I get he inspired a lot of people around the world, and may be deserving of such an honor- but I would have waited a few years into his term). That said, Bush's Presidency was a marathon of misguided discrimination and abuse of power. Then again, Nobel did invent dynamite which has killed millions of people, so maybe Bush would be an idea person to have himself associated with explosives.
- Bowie, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5Please refrain from offending the retarded by comparing Hannity to them.
- Leezus, on 10/15/2009, -1/+5Okay, I think I might understand what he's saying, guys. When he says that Bush did A LOT, he doesn't mean a lot to deserve it, but the opposite. A lot to...not deserve it.
- graeh, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4Bush deserves some sort of recognition if only for having the outright hilarious disregard, balls, or "high school dare" to appoint Bolton ambassador to the UN.
That was a... subtle diplomatic move that deserves recognition for what it said to the rest of the world, already scratching their heads. - noyurawk, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4Hannity perpetuates the stereotype of the right wing retard.
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -1/+4Right along with your head in the sand.
- budbud83, on 10/15/2009, -2/+5This guy makes my blood boil and shoot outa my eyes. Errgghhhh!
- deealf, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3what Hannity suggests would be the equivalent of giving Kanye West the Video of the Year award
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3Noble Prize? I think you mean Nobel.
- trevor98, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3No wonder FOX has the ratings. This kind of advertising can't be bought.
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3Seriously, keep eating pop rocks and soda.
- daeyeth, on 10/15/2009, -1/+4Hahaha, oh you're so funny Stephen Colbe-- wait, what? Sean Hannity said that?
- MrZaiko, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3Yea Nixon Deserved one too.
- spongya77, on 10/15/2009, -1/+4What results are these? 'cuz he did not win the cold war. (Damn, it wasn't that long ago. If you forgot what Henry VIII did, I'd undertand. But having memory lapses like this... I think you should see a doctor.)
He did invade Grenada, though -a superpower threatening world peace. He also supported Saddam Hussein against Iran in a war where millions died. And let him use chemical weapons (heck, he gave them to him). He also did something with the Contras if I recall. And had sneaky deals with Iran. And the death squads in El Salvador. Oh, and he helped those poor freedom fighters in Afghanistan, too. Look how well THAT turned out.
This man was the lovechild of Ghandi and Jesus himself. I don't understand why he did not get a nobel. - trevor98, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2Yes, they can lie their asses off. Is that really an honest question? Try reading the constitution some time. The oversight body is the masses that either accept their "news" or not and if not the news company fails. Somehow I find it abhorent the idea the government could call legislate a news organ's veracity. How fast would have CNN been called liars by Bush and shut down? You can't be serious.
- ChadN, on 10/15/2009, -2/+4And by "giving it", I mean "fellatio". - Hannity
- quirkopatra, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2Bush didn't say "strategery". That was an SNL portrayal.
- portnoy, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2More the pity, I guess he isn't as edumicated as I thought.
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2And all it took was the deaths of 100,000+ dead civilians. Oh and Iraq still has to deal with a civil war.
Odd, we gave Democracy to countries that didnt want it (Iraq, Afghanistan). And the one that wanted it (Palestine), we ignored. - dj4site, on 10/15/2009, -3/+5OMG are you seriously telling me that it's legal for US news organisations to produce bare faced lies again and again ?!? They don't get fined or anything? No independent review body with legal powers to stop them or heavily fine them for patent untruths?
I know Americans are sometimes seen as dumb by other countries... but let's face it, this IS seriously dumb ! - HottLumpiaz, on 10/15/2009, -1/+3One man's "terrorist" is another man's "freedom fighter"
- dstz, on 10/15/2009, -3/+5I wonder why Americans are really trying hard to not see why he had the prize. Does his domestic policy infuriates you so much that you can't see what he did in foreign relationships?
I think it's not the main point, i rather think you mostly disagree with his foreign policy positions and therefore can't understand why he got it: engaging foreign allies (you're not caring that much,) advocating a non nuclear world (i can agree on this one but it is linked to the next one,) engaging Iran with a peaceful attitude (other solutions: ask for sanctions that Russia and China won't accept, or war, and that's about it, sounds like fun doesn't it,) and finally the Cairo speech (don't get it at all, at all, and if you do you can't agree. This is, though the biggest of all points. This speech was nothing short of historical.)
His practice of foreign relationships that is far, far, above the intellect and wishes of people that elected him. The best thing he does, his people don't care or are opposed to. It is why he had the prize, he is swimming upstream and in this day and age, he is one of the only person that makes the world a slightly less ***** place with a slightly less war tainted future (and not small wars like Afghanistan, yes it is a relatively small war,) for everyone you included.
And this is why he got the prize. - eviscerator, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1Works in other countries...
- acdtrux, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1Everyone knows about fox news and their bs. Why is this even being dugg up? Just ignore them and let their muck die away. One way to make sure they stick around is keeping them in the news.
- quirkopatra, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1So the answer is no I can't talk about it and you get to insult both my memory and the man....k, then.
Nuke reduction. Good idea from Obama. Genius. So cutting edge. Wonder where he got such a unique and important idea. Probably he DID fall straight out of Heaven to save us all. - Akairenn, on 10/15/2009, -3/+4Peace? No, but is there a Nobel Prize for language?
Bush has done more to advance the cause of English than any other person since Shakespeare.
You can say what you will about his administration, but a world without strategery is a world I do not wish to live in. - quirkopatra, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1You Imma let you finish, but Barack, he had the cleanest fingernails of all time...
- buckrogers1965, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1I oppose everything Bush stood for and so far Obama has continued every policy that Bush started. So if Obama deserves a peace prize then so does Bush.
I think we should reserve Peace prizes for those who, oh, I don't know... maybe someone who actually stops a war or three? - brblol, on 10/15/2009, -1/+2"Frankly, you're an idiot."
