The big government social conservative wing of the party even put a plank in the party platform advocating federal Internet censorship to stop adults from playing online poker! If the GOP wishes to be a majority party again, they'll need to bring them back.

    Goldwater was the last hope libertarians had and, in case you haven't heard, has been dead for some time

    best chance the libertarians have is the emergence of one among the democrats

    Glad that plank didn't make the platform! Censorship applies to speech, not playing poker, so that plank would be silly.
