- JeffDaiell, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16 That D'Souza debated Dr. Paul shows that the Beltway crowd is worried about the Paul campaign. But even a Ron Paul presidency would not be enough to root out authoritarianism. We need to elect Libertarians to Congresss, as governors, as State legislators, as county commissioners, as city councilmembers, as school board trustees. -- Jeff Daiell
- beermotor, on 10/11/2007, -4/+11What an idiot.
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8You don't even know what a neocon is.
And to be honest, I'm sick of feeling ridiculed and belittled on Digg because I have conservative views. The left wing has always had a habit of mocking and belittling contrastive opinions: and Digg is a perfect example of this.. Please stop. - GirthAgain, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Calling every conservative a neocon is on par with calling ever liberal a communist. First, it's inaccurate. Second it is a massive roadblock for people who may otherwise have been interested in what you had to say.
- kaelyiesta, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I agree that a source citation is needed. It's all too easy to just write a story to fit whatever goal one has in mind. I'd be a little less skeptical with some evidence.
- kingoftonga, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Source for this? An actual article or transcript of the debate? I find it hard to believe that D'Souza said things in these exact terms.
- drouk1556, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I find it surprising that their doctrine is the same as the Ministry of Truth's doctrine. There must be some kind of copyright laws on doctrines.
- Frayed_Knot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Is audio or video of this debate available?

- fsprebel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3The difference between the 2 is that DD is payed to play the neo-conme game while Paul is just being a great American, someone the Founding Fathers would be proud of. I used to respect DD, but he just lost me. What a sellout. Gee, I wonder who he's gonna vote for? He agrees with Paul on everything but the war but will still vote for Rudy McRomney.
- GirthAgain, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1sorry there, Ginger, but you lost me at fascist. You now have an object lesson in what my post said.
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1No you're wrong.. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m28/Alegoo92/LR.png
- Jayhawk05, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Alegoo, thank you for proving my point.
- Jayhawk05, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0You're welcome for the correction of your comparison anyway.

- Jayhawk05, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0Actually it's on par with every social neo-conservative (fascist) calling everyone who disagrees with them a liberal. There's nothing wrong with being a conservative. Social neo-conservatives are not conservatives though; they are radical right wing extremists who are pushing their radical right wing agenda (which really boils down to their own form of fascism). If you are a true conservative, you want to maintain the status quo and avoid big changes. That's what true conservatism is.
