- tzipp, on 10/25/2007, -37/+31YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD, UNINTELLIGENT, WAR MONGORING FOOL IS WHAT HE IS
- foxhaze, on 10/20/2007, -24/+6You have no right to be using words like "unintelligent." Or "fool," for that matter.
- fractalman, on 10/20/2007, -19/+10Why, do have the exclusive rights to those words??? Are you going to sue??? What gives you the right to determine tzipp's rights??? DUMB ASS.
- theblooms, on 10/20/2007, -23/+3Fool? Maybe. Probably. Unintelligent? I can't really say that, nor can you. Being a legacy WILL ABSOLUTELY get you an undergrad degree from Yale. It will NOT, however, get you an MBA from Harvard. That you must earn. To suggest otherwise is in and of itself foolish. Harvard MBA's are for real, no matter who you are.
- MWeather, on 10/20/2007, -1/+10I think the businesses he drove into the ground kind of disproves the whole "you need to be intelligent to get an MBA from Harvard" theory.
- foxhaze, on 10/19/2007, -12/+7I was actually suggesting that he was an idiot. But that's ok, fractalman. Progressive thinkers such as yourself don't need to understand sarcasm.

- bluezinc, on 10/26/2007, -1/+23Remember the days when saying somethign as simple and true as, "Bush sucks" on youtube somehow solicited a ton of angry responses like, "no, YOU suck!" or, "you're a *****"? Where are those people now? Maybe they've realized that they're web-tards and have learned that they probably shouldn't think or speak anymore.
- SilentJay74, on 10/20/2007, -0/+18I think the first people to receive such back lash were the Dixie Chicks when they said they were sad that Bush was from Texas.
- bluezinc, on 10/20/2007, -0/+10They were the first big celebrities to do it... maybe Sean Penn was first... but nobody listens to Sean Penn.
- Koldkompress, on 10/19/2007, -3/+3no one understands what the ***** he's saying with all the metaphors. He might be insulting Bush, or he might be praising him, you just can't tell with his convoluted phrases.
- brufleth, on 10/26/2007, -2/+21In all fairness to Texans. Bush is an implant. His family moved from CT. He was born in CT, he went to school in MA and CT, and his fake cowboy image is just that, fake, because Americans love that Marlboro man BS.
- notque, on 10/26/2007, -0/+11The Ranch was built for him so he's have a backdrop to clear brush.

- Tyr7BE, on 10/19/2007, -4/+11No they haven't. It's now trendy to hate bush, so they're the ones posting "Bush sucks!"
- SilentJay74, on 10/19/2007, -1/+8Where have you been? 4 years ago they got boo'ed at the Grammys for saying that. Now they are not getting any backlash, but back then they did.
- Rahodeb, on 10/19/2007, -2/+04 years ago Iraq wasn't as unpopular, because we had been there 4 years less. In addition, there have been a few scandals between now and then if you hadn't noticed.

- sifeliz, on 10/20/2007, -5/+3My friend wrote a pretty kick ass song about Georgie Porgie too, called "George is a Conn" about how he is a fake cowboy. My favorite line is "Kickin' the dirt with Prada boots...". http://www.myspace.com/clayrussell

He's the idiot son of an *****.
He's our president!- fixedcoma, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1for some reason like usual the song stopped at 2:30 minutes as if some force from somewhere didn't want the song to play, hmm, i wonder what it could be? ***** administration will do anything to keep us from information anyway they know how! not surprised! had restart it at 2:30 to finish the song cause the wankers trying keep information from us! fight the system!
- aaronwolfe, on 10/20/2007, -7/+19the guy?
That's Mike Burkett you idiot.- sifeliz, on 10/19/2007, -0/+14fat mike isn't so fat anymore...
- Ignitedude, on 11/01/2007, -25/+6It's good to see Fat Mike's still the *****, or, just plain *****.
- theblooms, on 10/20/2007, -7/+17As most of you know if you have ever read my comments under political stories, I am about as right-wing as they come. That said, I love NOFX. They are a seriously kick ass band, and if you have never heard them, run, don't walk to your nearest record store and pick some up. My favorite song from them is Franco UnAmerican. Great tune.
- aaronwolfe, on 10/20/2007, -5/+16Best Punk Band Ever.
A right-wing NOFX fan? Well, you have one redeeming quality at least.- Ignitedude, on 10/19/2007, -4/+7Blah, I think that crown has to go to Bad Religion and Pennywise
- aaronwolfe, on 10/19/2007, -0/+5Well it can't go to both.
1. NOFX
2. Bad Religion
3. Pennywise - notque, on 10/20/2007, -2/+6You meant Anti-Flag and Propagandhi. ;)
- aaronwolfe, on 10/19/2007, -0/+5Well it can't go to both.
- Skanadian, on 10/20/2007, -2/+8That crown has to go to Dead Kennedys, The Clash, or Crass.
- brufleth, on 10/19/2007, -4/+4I hate the singer from DK for two reasons.
1) He's a stupid wannabe activist who spins rhetoric just as bad as any hot air politician.
2) His voice makes me want to stab.- hmmmok, on 10/19/2007, -1/+1And he tried to rip off former bandmates of royalties.
- quaxon, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2"And he tried to rip off former bandmates of royalties."
this is so far from the truth, what actually happened was the band wanted to use holiday in cambodia for a levi's commercial and jello didnt let them. Jello was the one who wrote the song and many of their other songs, but they sued him and in court claimed that jello couldnt have written the songs because he doesnt read sheet music.
- brufleth, on 10/19/2007, -4/+4I hate the singer from DK for two reasons.
- quaxon, on 10/20/2007, -4/+1you guys are idiots, nofx is about as punk as avril lavine. So is bad religion and the clash, maybe a little higher than avril but still not punk and ***** as *****. The guy who mentioned crass and DK was pretty right on, but real punk bands are aus rotten, DooM, brother inferior, dystopia, whorehouse of representative, rudimentary peni, dirt, mankind, etc. none of this ***** epitaph mainstream pop-masquerading-as-punk, hot-topic *****.
- yfguitarist, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3Just because something is more obscure and underground doesn't make it cooler and better. There's a reason some bands are hugely popular.
- quaxon, on 10/20/2007, -2/+1It has absolutely nothing to do about being obscure or underground, half those bands you can easily find at amoeba and crass and dead kennedys you can even find at virgin or tower and the like. It has to do with the fact that their music is watered down rock mixed with pop masquerading as punk.

- Ignitedude, on 10/19/2007, -4/+7Blah, I think that crown has to go to Bad Religion and Pennywise
- Xyleene, on 10/19/2007, -2/+2I'm guessing you listen to them for the melody.. not the lyrical content.
- caleb4mj, on 10/19/2007, -0/+5Whoops, I ODd.
- bariswheel, on 10/19/2007, -0/+4The dEcline is in my top 20 of all time. It is a full on Epic 18 Minute NOFX whoopass.
http://digg.com/videos/music/NOFX_The_Decline_one_ ...
That's the first part, out of 3. Whether you agree with all, some, or none of the politics in this song, this song is a massive achievement on so many levels.
Enjoy.- bariswheel, on 10/19/2007, -0/+3Argh, that link didn't work, let's try this one: http://tinyurl.com/yq5o7z
- aaronwolfe, on 10/20/2007, -5/+16Best Punk Band Ever.
- SilentJay74, on 10/20/2007, -8/+30I F'N love NOFX. My first NOFX CD was ribbed. They still kick ass! There is defiantly still hope for our generation!
- Ignitedude, on 10/19/2007, -1/+10So long and thanks for all the shoes is my personal favourite. It's our job to keep punk rock elite is such a sick tune.
- tdogg241, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Easily the best NOFX album (with Punk in Drublic a close 2nd). Not a bad song on it!
- daniel2e, on 10/19/2007, -1/+7I think you just proved this is "defiantly" not so.
- spect3r, on 10/19/2007, -0/+6Hey NOFX spoke for MY generation (1980s early 90's!) they aren't allowed to speak to kids these days!!!~`
- SilentJay74, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Class of 93 dude.
- csw1342, on 07/27/2008, -0/+1***** the kids
- popltree2, on 10/19/2007, -0/+5Personal fav. is Punk in Drublic.
- worldsbestgamer, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Seconded. I find that a lot of it went down hill after. Might have picked back up. This is the case with a few other punk bands.
- ninjakoala, on 10/19/2007, -1/+3My favourite is The War on Errorism. NOFX are best when they're a bit pissed off. My favourite songs by them would probably be Don't Call Me White and Dinosaurs Will Die.
- Spoonicus, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1Man Ribbed is the best album. shower days, linoleum, and moron brothers.. kick ass.
- Ignitedude, on 10/19/2007, -1/+10So long and thanks for all the shoes is my personal favourite. It's our job to keep punk rock elite is such a sick tune.
- internetcoward, on 11/01/2007, -22/+7NOFX is a bunch of lying *****. Their OWN RECORD LABEL... supposedly... is a member of the RIAA, even though on their site they denied this (I had emailed them about this, since then I cannot find this denial anywhere). So ***** them. They're just trying to bank on 'being cool and anti-war' like the rest of the ***** world.

Fat Wreck Chords- squirrelza, on 10/19/2007, -1/+12You sir are an idiot. I know people at Fat Wreck Chords and they had to go through expensive lawsuits just to get their name removed.
- naterpoke, on 10/19/2007, -9/+0you sir are a scumbag for associating with ***** like anyone fat mike related
- topherbook, on 10/19/2007, -0/+5You know, for as much as I disagree with Fat Mike and some (not all) of his views, I respect him as a guy who does what he thinks is right. And unlike some prominent figures, he does so with at least a partial basis on fact. He also does his best to fight for the benefit of all people, not just himself and his buddies.
- internetcoward, on 10/19/2007, -1/+1Well it didnt work because it is RIGHT THEREEEEEEEE. Plus how can you 'go through lawsuits to yourmove' a name? Just dont sign up witgh them, but they did.
- naterpoke, on 10/19/2007, -9/+0you sir are a scumbag for associating with ***** like anyone fat mike related
- yobrodude, on 10/20/2007, -0/+7I highly doubt NOFX is a member of the RIAA. HIGHLY. Second, NOFX released the track on the WAR ON ERRORISM album that came out 3 YEARS AGO, so I don't what you're talking about "trying to bank on 'being cool and anti-war'" Third, its not cool to be anti-war because we shouldn't be in a war when we were outright lied to by the scumbags in Washington. This is not about BEING COOL or UNCOOL shmuck, it's about getting off your ass (stop digging through it), and doing something to make things right.
- revjustin2, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2since when have people started thinking about politics in terms of cool and uncool anyway? Save those terms for sunglasses and pants. I agree with you, yobrodude. This isn't about cool and uncool. It's about war and peace, life and death, etc.
- internetcoward, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1They are on the riaa website....
- topherbook, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2There are reportedly a handful of labels on that list that are not actually members. The RIAA is either being sloppy or underhanded with that list. But I appreciate that you did do some research. Unfortunately it was based on faulty information. No harm, no foul.
- TrevorBelmont, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Once, many years ago, NoFX put out an album that had a real "poppy" feel to it began to approach mainstream commercial success. They thought "Well, we don't really want that." What were they to do? There solution? They titled their next album "Heavy Petting Zoo" and the album art was of some dude sensually finger-banging a sheep at a petting zoo while children pet and fed sheep in the background.
http://caio.ueberalles.net/log/wp-content/uploads/ ...
If there's one band that isn't trying to "bank on being cool", it's these guys. - afpunk, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?story ...
Go there. Listen. Realize that you're a dumb *****.
How the ***** can someone who apparently hates the RIAA use them as their primary source in an argument against an independent label? Do a little research before you spout your *****.
- squirrelza, on 10/19/2007, -1/+12You sir are an idiot. I know people at Fat Wreck Chords and they had to go through expensive lawsuits just to get their name removed.
- squirrelza, on 10/19/2007, -1/+3Hah, this sure ain't new. NOFX are coming to South Africa in 3 weeks, and I'm seeing them for the first time. Thanks to some Fat Wreck people for getting me on the list and dodging the $42 ticket price :D
Oh and, there's also a flash/music video to go with this song... - cerealjynx, on 11/06/2007, -6/+66I heard they suck live...
;)- eternal464, on 10/20/2007, -11/+3we just watched they suck live, where were you?
- unfilterthought, on 10/20/2007, -10/+1They cant sing...but thats not the point.
- azprofessional, on 10/20/2007, -9/+3At warped 1999 they did, big time. Never went back to Crapped tour after that.
- gfindlay, on 10/20/2007, -1/+17Your joke was lost on the 2 guys above me... "I Heard They Suck Live" is the name of their live album. http://interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=33563&
- cerealjynx, on 10/19/2007, -1/+14It was kinda a joke, since thats the name of their live album.
But it's also kinda true.- bjs3171, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2i know it's their album name, but last time i saw them they were actually quite good. about as tight as they'll probably ever be. but, of course, that's why we love them.
- gmiley, on 10/19/2007, -2/+3They are very entertaining. NOFX has always been one of my favorite bands. Seen them a couple times at Warped. Both times I saw them they were dead last to go on, and by that time I was always so wiped out from being out in the sun all day - I live in florida so it gets damn hot here. Still worth it IMO. I like almost every song they have put out, but I think my favorite album is Punk in Drublic.

- offspring06, on 10/19/2007, -0/+4Funny song
- tcpip4lyfe, on 10/20/2007, -3/+12Im surprised NOFX is still around. Isn't the lead sings like 40?
- Koldkompress, on 10/19/2007, -3/+7Better not say anything to Willie Nelson
- th3space, on 10/20/2007, -0/+10"Buy me a Becks beer, pass me the bong,

"Theme from a NoFX Album" - Pump Up The Valuum (2000) - bjs3171, on 10/19/2007, -0/+5Bad Religion's past 3 albums rock harder than the 4 or so that came before it and they're, like, 55. of course they're new young drummer probably helps a lot.
- csw1342, on 07/27/2008, -0/+1No the ***** they don't. Talk about sell out. New America or whatever that whiney ***** album was called was the worst thing they ever did to me.
- Beetlesweb, on 10/20/2007, -6/+4NOFX? I heard they suck live!!
Edit: Damn cerealjynx beat me to it :p - kaworu517, on 10/19/2007, -13/+4So, what happens when he isnt in office anymore?
Will NOFX run out of material to make horrible songs about?- brufleth, on 10/20/2007, -2/+5Um...I'm not a huge NOFX fan but I enjoy some of their music. NOFX has been around much longer than Bush has been president and are quite popular within their "scene" and will continue to be long after he's gone. Get a raging clue.

- gtluke, on 10/20/2007, -13/+4best average GDP of my lifetime, best unemployment numbers of my lifetime.
idiot? he got better grades than kerry at the same time at the same school (yale)
poor speaker? damn straight he sucks at that.
but i cant' call someone an idiot who was above average at yale while they were still grading on a curve.
C's back then just meant average for his class (class of yale students mind you), look up bell curves, hardly anyone grades on them anymore.- LethalGeek, on 10/20/2007, -2/+10My grades are rather Cish also, but I still absorbed the knowledge. Nothing I've ever seen or heard of Bush makes me think he was really paying attention. The man is a narrow minded fanatic.
- brufleth, on 10/19/2007, -0/+3...Everything I find shows GDP per capita going up pretty much every year...so Bush has no influence on "best average GDP" That just happens because he's the most recent president.
Are you only a couple years old? There was lower unemployment at the end of the '90s.
I'm not sure I understand your comparison to Kerry. A history teacher who had taught both Bush and Kerry remembered Kerry but couldn't recall Bush at all. They were both rich kids who spent more time on extracurriculars than study. While not the best student Kerry was honored at Yale and spoke at his graduation. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/artic ...
I'll happily call someone an idiot who was middle of the road at Yale. My father was near the top at Dartmouth and he's an idiot about plenty of things. I knew people who went on to do well at Harvard too and they had to cheat to get their A in a simple earth science class. - annonimality, on 10/20/2007, -0/+4Biggest National Dept of your lifetime (> $9 trillion): http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

It's nice to see a band that used to be popular take the easy way out to stir up controversy and try to get some publicity.- mashlin, on 10/20/2007, -0/+8they started playing this song back around 2003.....
- tyler420666, on 10/19/2007, -0/+4"used to be popular" you sir are very wrong since they have been and still are very popular
- cordtripper, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2Easy way this song came out in like 2002 before it became fashionable to bash bush.
- petebot, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1dude the album this song is on is from 2000 or 2001.

- orez, on 10/19/2007, -1/+2Yeah, also MC lars' line "rock against bush is so 2004" is reference to the rock against bush tour .. in 2004. Guess what band/label was apart of that? yup that's right NOFX and fat wreckchords.
Please to be knowing things before you try and made an insulting comment.
- r00t3d0ut, on 10/21/2007, -1/+9while i applaud fat mike for punk voter, to say that NOFX is the "best punk band ever" is flat-out incorrect. try listening to the band that he has on his t-shirt (Descendents) and you'll agree.
- iregistered4ths, on 10/21/2007, -2/+0Booooooring, stop boring me. Your elitist punk attitude is impressing this many people: 0.
The Descendants and ALL were eh at best, see how opinions work? - tdogg241, on 10/21/2007, -0/+2Descendents (and by extension, ALL) are totally overrated.
- iregistered4ths, on 10/21/2007, -2/+0Booooooring, stop boring me. Your elitist punk attitude is impressing this many people: 0.
- schlagzeuger, on 10/20/2007, -12/+4wow. they suck. can't you guys tell how poorly they play? I would be embarrassed to have clips of my playing on youtube if it sucked that bad
- minorthreat, on 10/19/2007, -1/+7dugg.. NOFX is my all time favorite. New Live Album in November called They've actually gotten worse!!!
- tyler420666, on 10/19/2007, -1/+1one of my favorite nofx songs of all time
- tyme, on 10/19/2007, -3/+2Can you figure out how to use periods? No one's really quite sure.
- MonsterChaOS, on 10/21/2007, -1/+10Love the song, but NoFX needs to learn that they can't show up for EVERY ***** SHOW drunk!
I swear I've seen them at least a dozen times and they've never been sober enough to play their own damned songs!!!- notque, on 10/19/2007, -1/+5It's more interesting that way. Who needs to play their own songs perfect, we know what they are supposed to sound like! ;)
- th3space, on 10/25/2007, -0/+5Actually, to hear Mike tell it, he's an awful bassist, which is one reason why the brilliance that is The Decline took six months to produce. It's also the reason why any time they've played anything off of that album/song (depending on how you look at it), it's either slower or sloppy as *****.
- th3space, on 10/25/2007, -1/+1You must have missed the tour they did with Fat Mike playing/singing from a couch. I believe he had sustained a knee or ankle injury (though that might also be related to their penchant for the drink).
- notque, on 10/19/2007, -1/+5It's more interesting that way. Who needs to play their own songs perfect, we know what they are supposed to sound like! ;)

Am I cool yet? No? *****.- Skanadian, on 10/19/2007, -2/+3It isn't about being cool. They have feeling about the president, they express it through their music. At least they're doing something about it.
- WWWoody, on 10/19/2007, -2/+3Their music is *****, all they're doing is playing off of drunk college students that want to get high and be rebellious.
- tdogg241, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Worst. LOLcat. Ever.

www.thefestfl.com - sandjoe9, on 10/19/2007, -1/+2Heres the song he starts singing from Hedwig and the angry inch in the middle
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ep41swkK5Mc- piznut, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1Hedwig = Best rock musical ever.
The guitarist, Ted Liscinski is now touring with Sea Wolf....badass.

- Proximity, on 10/20/2007, -1/+8Dugg for being on my Top 3 Bands list for over 10 years now and for making political and social commentary both catchy and amusing.
- bumblefoot, on 10/19/2007, -3/+3i used to like nofx but since fat mikes discovered he can sell albums that just slate bush they've gotten pretty crappy, although i still listen to pump up the valium/white trash two heebs and a bean, ribbed and the decline occasionally (that song still rocks)
- nattylife, on 10/19/2007, -2/+1@sinisterdexter
this song came out 3 years ago. nofx has been anti-bush since before the 00 election. obviously you havent been to a nofx concert in the last 20 years.
@kawaru517
run out of material? over 24 years theyve released 10 studio full lengths, 15 EPs, and many 7" singles. they wont stop until they have enough money to do drugs until they die. - heartcoldfusion, on 10/20/2007, -9/+5This is hilarious!! Not the song, that song sucks and is completely unoriginal. It's hilarious how everyone in the comments is trying to tell everyone else how much they love NoFX and how much they liked their older *****. Way to go pseudo-punk community.
- notque, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2Way to care about meaningless things, and ragging on other peoples fun. Woohoo for being an ass!
- Grandforks85, on 10/20/2007, -8/+3People still listen to punk music?
- slapded, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2i like their album.. so long and thanks for all the shoes.. its when i first got into them.. great tunes
- rnd1, on 10/21/2007, -2/+16dugg for NOFX being on digg
- JamJosh, on 10/19/2007, -8/+1Yep....NOFX still sucks donkey balls. Maybe it's just me but I like bands that have some musical talent. I won't even go into how those bands getting all political is retarded cause they don't know jack *****.
- charlinas, on 10/19/2007, -0/+0and what do you listen to? im gonna guess widespread panic--the band that doesn't know when a song should end...
- xXGeechXx, on 10/19/2007, -7/+0I seriously thought punk was dead.
- Psalms, on 10/19/2007, -1/+3Bush bashing is obvious. A lot of intelligent people dislike Bush, that's nothing special, what I want to judge on now is what we're going to do after Bush is out of office. Hillary, Obama, McCain, Guliani...ew..., and so many 'Front Runners' all preach invading Iran, and won't take tactical Nuclear strikes off the table. Stupid? Then why are we supporting those people, and bashing Bush? They're all idiots!
I'm nearing eighteen, and come next presidency, I don't want to be drafted into a war I don't want to fight, and neither do my classmates. Who's going to do something about that? Think on it, and spend 5 minutes finding a candidate who won't have more people killed; make up for the five minutes you just wasted watching 'The Idiot Son of an *****.'
(Also, RONPAULRONPAULRONPAUL. Yeah, that's basically all us Libertarians preach nowadays, isn't it? Might as well stop beating around the bush... no pun intended. :D )- Kyderdog, on 10/21/2007, -1/+3Don't Fall for the Ron Paul Crap that spewed on digg.... I used to be one of them until I looked what he doesn't support.
Look more towards Dennis Kucinich.- Fabc001, on 10/21/2007, -1/+2What did you find, please let us know otherwise your post seems very empty and again we have someone telling us to vote for someone for no ***** reason, only because we were told to do so.
So what did you find out that was bad about Ron Paul?
- Fabc001, on 10/21/2007, -1/+2What did you find, please let us know otherwise your post seems very empty and again we have someone telling us to vote for someone for no ***** reason, only because we were told to do so.

- froston, on 10/21/2007, -1/+12Fat Mike is great. Im surprised the media doesnt cover him more for doing crazy stuff.
i was at warped tour and he made everyone who is a christian raise their hand....then he said everyone with their hand raised ..>GET THE ***** OUT OF HERE - happytedium, on 10/19/2007, -0/+7Linoleum is possible the best punk song since the real punk bands (77-~83).
