MoveOn sends cease and desist letters to cafepress over parody t-shirts

opinion.latimes.com — An op-ed in the LA Times notes "it's amazing that MoveOn would try to squelch political speech." One of the designers withdrew her T-shirt because she didn't want to fight "a large group with the money to run ads in the NY Times demeaning a four star general."

  • zelig, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3In a world where Saddam Hussein, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hugo Chavez are heroes to college students everywhere and GW Bush is the enemy, finding out that MoveOn.org is trying to squelch political speech doesn't surprise me much.
