MoveOn.org Gets $102,000 Discount for ‘Betray Us’ Advocacy Ad in the NYT
newsbusters.org — Jake Tapper at ABC News reported that MoveOn.org paid $65,000 for its full page anti-war advocacy sliming of General David Petraeus. While looking up the current New York Times rate book he discovered that MoveOn.org received a $102,000 discount on the standard political advocacy rate that is advertised at $167,157.

Now don't get me wrong, I think it is entirely the right of NYT to do whatever the hell they want with their newspaper, and media outlets should be as biased as they want (as long as they are open and honest about it). But this does mean 2 things: 1 - They can never claim to a non-biased news source. 2 - By subsidizing MoveOn.org, they are clearly showing their full support for both the MoveOn.org and the message in the ad.- 03FightOn, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Don't think, you'll hurt yourself...OK, the rest of your post shows good reasoning, I like it (not even sure of your politics)
