Some of us recall George Wallace flanked by Alabama State Troopers, and an era when states' rights was just the PC way to say "segregation is our vision."

  • holesome, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1Perry's after the anti-minority vote, which may or may not play well in Texas, but it's seriously out of step with what's happening as the national electorate becomes more colorful. This can't be a ploy to set up a bid for President later, this is about securing the anti-Mexican backlash voters to keep him in the governor's mansion.
