It may very well be the democrats answer to all questions on obamas thinking and policies...whether important or trivial, all questions of obamas wisdom are from here on out to be labeled racism! What a tactic! Overwhelm America with political correctness and hope all are blinded to the truth! But....will it work on anyone but a democrat....hmmmmm.....rather doubt it.

At some point is should be obvious that negotiations will be fruitless unless both parties are willing to recognize some mutual benefit, or someone is being a fool.

Obama has amazing Rhetoric. He can definitely entice the masses. McCain has his ***** straight, but he isn't half the demagogue Obama is.
Obama's foreign policy is naive at the best. "Sitting down and talking" might work with Cuba and Venezuela. It won't work with Muslim countries. Obama shows complete misunderstanding of how that part of the world works. In a society where people are killed daily for "Family honor", blood feuds, and plain religious zealous, "lets just sit down and talk" is exactly the way to lose their respect. If they are murdering you or your allies children and women, and all you have to offer in return is Diplomacy, all you come out as is "Pathetic Americans". Think about high school. When those three bullies came to beat you up, did you tell them: "Hey guys, lets sit down and talk. What is it that you want from me? My lunch money? okay, let's negotiate that".
Diplomacy is the way to solve conflict. There is no doubt about that. But diplomacy that can't be backed with military strength and the willingness to use that military strength is just an invitation for your enemies to take more American lives. - Maninthemiddle, on 05/17/2008, -1/+6Negotiating with Iran's current government:

Everyone else has it pretty well pegged though; how DOES one negotiate with someone who only seeks your death and no compromise is possible? And...why would anyone be dumb enough to try? I've said it before...I really don't care if liberals have a death wish/pact with islam, go to it guys and hope there's enough virgins to go 'round, but leave the rest of us be!

Those guys talk all day and get precisely nothing done, because they conceive of other countries as functioning exactly like the US except for a few minor differences in dress and cuisine. His interminable cluelessness will be right up their alley.
