McCain Flip Flops On Support For Redeployment

thinkprogress.org — In an interview with CNN, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) flip-flopped twice: 1) He previously said he would consider supporting redeployment if escalation failed. Now he won't under any scenario. 2) He claimed that he has "bitterly disagreed" with Bush's strategy for more than three years. Except that he was for "stay the course."

  • kencyber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1According to DailyKOS, McCain is now trailing behind Barrack Obama in support. His support has dropped from 59% to 51% in the last few weeks. No doubt, his support of the troop surge and massive commitment to fighting the war in Iraq has everything to do with it.
