- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+54A perfect example of how low our media has sunk.
- Bigg3h, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19lol that is the dumbest thing I've seen in ages. Whatever happen to news... this newtainment is pure crap... back to reading the newspaper I guess.
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16*****, are we living the in 1800's again?
- JohnM5, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I know! Its pretty surprising. I always thought Clinton was black.
- MonkeyjoeBla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Oh man, The Daily Show is going to have fun with this.
- wompwomp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Clinton has white legs? Well, I'll be damned.
- motivator, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9had to fight the urge to bury this...the reality is, i want to bury whoever thinks "this" is news. digg, because the story here is how ridiculous this story is. come on media clowns, try to find the ball and put your eye on it. *sigh*
- drum_bum, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13Liberal media? Haha, what liberal media?
- maukdaddy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I think I speak for everyone when I say: un-*****-believable
- techmonkey4u, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7WTF!?!?!
1. Did that absolute tool who calls herself a journalist have to bring two other people into the conversation about this earth-shattering topic!?
2. Thank you MSNBC for treating your audience as if they shared the same interests as 13-year-old girls.
3. What MSNBC researcher came across the Fox interview video, paused it, zoomed in on a couple frames, and then cried "Eureka!?! LEG!! Now I've got you, Clinton!"
4. "Well, how does this happen? … I mean — is this a travesty or what?" ... You obviously weren't in Manhattan a little over 5 years ago.
There's more that could be said, but I'm too mindnumbed. - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -14/+19You think this is all innocent fun? The media "for some reason" is avoiding talking about the real issue: WHY AMERICA DID NOTHING ABOUT THE ISLAMIC TERROR FOR TWO DECADES (since Bush-Reagan)?
Do you want to know why? I'm sure I'll be modded down for this, but this is the truth.
Everyone from HW Bush to Clinton, to Bush Jr., have supported the Taliban. Clinton was following HW Bush's policy which considered the Taliban our ally. It is not the Taliban America opposed, but Al Qaeda. Yes, Clinton refused to act against the Taliban, we sent them aid as recently as August 2001! But it's not just Clinon, as I said.
When 9/11 hit, Bin Laden made negotiation impossible, THAT was when Bush had no choice but to do something. The damned fool chose to attack Iraq, but that's another story.
Now, think about all this. The Demonrats and the Republicants are both involved, both sides want to keep things going and sweep the past under the rug. They hope to "somehow" fix the problem EVENTUALLY. Bush's Iraq bumbling has made it worse, but it's certainly not only Bush's problem.
The media isn't going to take sides, because it can't. CNN can't openly attack Bush because Fox will attack Clinton. And MSNBC will just add more spam to it all, like this Clinton's white leg story.
I have just told you what's really going on in America. If you don't believe it, frankly, you're a dupe of these crooks, or you're getting paid by one of them. There's lots of people like that, especially in the mainstream media!
I've done the research, have you? - bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Jesus ***** christ...
US are the laughing stock of the world... how the ***** did this woman get a job beyond cheerleader.
Seriously this nearly made me vomit... It's not even a joke... It's not offensive, it's just utterly moronic, stupifying, unfunny, and serves as an example to how honestly ***** conceited and arrogant some of the "pundits" and their "queer eye" sheeple have become.
In some parts of the world (and parts of the US) people are wondering if 1 inch is too far to do an ear lobe stretching, and in others we're joking about 1 inch being too much leg under the already utterly uptight black suit, white shirt and tie uniform you all conform to...
Just dress everyone in burkas and be done with it... - sq377, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Got Filler?
- Velireon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'm sorry, my people (yeah, the GAY ones) are way cooler than that. ***** you for using "gay" as a slur. (note how I didn't call you a "stupid breeder.")
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"fun" belongs on channels like MTV and E!, not a 24-hour news channel.
- nfph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3email: viewerservices@msnbc.com
Let them know they're a ***** joke, and that there's a perfectly good reason they're the distant third, red-headed step child of cable news. - chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Oh dear! I do believe your leg is showing! How awful my good sir!
- TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Why were there two analysts?!
- jellygraph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3haha, what a joke, can't believe what a waste of time this was... and they get paid for this crap?
- bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2maybe you miss the point teetow.
Not only are these guys so completely not on the pulse of the world when it comes to reporting news, they also make total asses out of themselves and of their country when they suggest that it ***** matters, or think it is even remotely funny how much leg you see...
He could be wearing a ***** toga and I honestly wouldn't notice.
Stewart and Colbert are funny not because they "make satire", but because they are WITTY, INTELLIGENT PEOPLE. They understand the news, they know what the priorities of the news are, and they are funny and compelling.
This woman, on the other hand, is a moron... I seriously wonder if she isn't on the verge of a mental handicap, or isn't a cocaine addict. - oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2this is harmless enough.
the last time the words "clinton, clothing & white" were used in a sentence together, the word "stain" was also involved. - crilen007, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3jbarnett
Thats ***** disgusting. Also, doing one segment was enough of a waste of time, let alone another one. - attila, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's becoming apparent that you can't rely on MSNBC for substantive news reporting anymore. I expect this much though, you might too after reading this:
http://digg.com/television/MSNBC_to_Become_Newsmagazine_Central - threepio, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I hear that just before Rome fell the last issue of the weekly tablet ran a bit about Ceasar showing some shiny shin below his toga and just above the sandal.
- thespiff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Entire segment" sure does sound like a big deal until you realize that it was less than 2 minutes. I promise you that on any given day I can find you a solid 2 minutes of news on any given network dumber than this.
Of course the news sucks by many accounts, but one short pointless conversation isn't really enough reason to slam a network. - artofwar420, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Idiots how dare they do this to President Clinton.
- Anpheus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5I expected black legs.
- Osjpr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dw, they're not doing anything but making fools of themselves and America
- Darthcactaur, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeah, I'm sure there are even more asinine things out there to distract us from important issues and debates...'Ooh water skiing squirrel'
- Velireon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Fine, from now, I'll start using "Fleischner" to mean "one who likes fellating dogs" and see how it makes you feel.
"Hey, did you see that nasty fleischner just walk by? He was eyeing rover's wang so hard I nearly filed charges." - bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It's funny cause she interviews a black man who says "you won't see any leg interviewing me"
- fleischner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I suppose this is the equivalent of the infamous "I have to use the bathroom" (or whatever it said) note that Bush wrote to Condi (or whomever it was) that made it into Reuters after being enhanced using Photoshop a while back. I guess that's why the National Enquirer is so popular.
- Iliketacos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's like 5000 ways to get news nowadays. There's plenty of room for everything. Unless the whole war started because someone in the Middle East was jealous of his complexion and started this whole fiasco, and MSNBC knows but can't tell it straight for fear of starting WWIII...
/delusion - skyhighrockets, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I think I speak for most people when I say "WTF!?"
- Osjpr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1BWAHAHAHAHAHA xD
Who dugg this!?!? 123 diggs and counting.... - teetow, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I think you guys are missing the point.
We all know how popular The Daily Show and the Colbert Report are these days. I think MSNBC are going for the satire demographic (we already know Olberman is gunning for the left-wing O'Reilly chair), and someone over at MSNBC probably thought it was a good idea at the time to do an "outfoxed" self-parody. Problem is, media credibility is so goddamn low that no-one got the joke. - chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1@Velerion
Not that there's anything wrong with it. - bysin, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Leave the guy alone. There was 48 straight hours of coverage on a 20 minute interview.
- mookie1510, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3and yet here we are talking about it.
- fleischner, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1@Velireon
Because the word "gay" was stolen from its true definition, we should see no need to feel guilty were we to use it the way jarland did as well.
I also plan on using the word "marriage" to mean "enjoys green leafy vegetables on Thursdays" myself. See how that works? - oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Kenobi
make a statement if you must but please don't wave your finger in my face. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+3
- HoneyBearKelly, on 10/12/2007, -22/+5The really important stuff.
Your "liberal" media at work.
