- greenfyre, on 07/09/2008, -8/+2A cheap ad hominem attack that attempts to gloss over the fact that the administration has been caught multiple times suppressing climate research, documentation and scientific evidence of climate change, thereby undermining the democratic necessity of an informed public.
- Vincep1974, on 07/10/2008, -2/+8There is no "Global Warming"
The ones lying are the Enviromarxists who seek to bring this country down. - 5N00PY, on 07/10/2008, -1/+6Greenfyre, "suppressing...research," is not the same as "refusing to use even more taxpayer money to fund junk science." No one has suppressed anyone from researching anything. Research anything you like, to your little heart's content, but don't expect American tax payers to pay for it.
- eleete, on 07/10/2008, -2/+5Nor should we with so much refuted evidence and a shill running around the globe on his private jet consuming more than most, shaking his finger at us and saying "it's only a matter of time". The whole thing is a farce, this planet will survive till the sun engulfs it, maybe we should start paying a tax for that too ?

@eleete What refuted evidence? Anything that will survive a google search for accuracy checking?

- Indyanna, on 07/10/2008, -2/+5I agree with all that was said by Ft. Hard Knox with one major exception.
I'll go to my grave with the belief, nay, the conviction, that Pluto is a planet. It's what the nuns taught me in grade school, it was the final planet in the list of planets that I had to memorize, and it was easy to remember because it had the distinction of being the smallest planet.
I couldn't make heads or tails of the periodic table, and I couldn't spell paleontological eras, but Pluto - now, that I could handle.- MisterWonderful, on 07/10/2008, -0/+2You're kidding right?
- Indyanna, on 07/10/2008, -1/+3Yes, dear. I am. It was my attempt, lame as it was, to bring a bit of humor to the World of Digg by making a mountain out of a mole hill - which is often what happens in the comment sections.
- MisterWonderful, on 07/11/2008, -0/+2Ok, then that's actually funny then.
Funny how you mock making a "mountain out of a mole hill" when that's all FHK aspires to do...
