Then he comes back 5-6 minutes later, describing how he was trying to get the media riled up, because they (the media) don't actually listen to his show, and he knows it. He knows that one soundbite will easily get in the media, so he does it for fun. (Obviously the humor is lost on liberals, since they don't listen to his show and take his sound bites out of context).

Look people, if you honestly listen to what he says in complete context (or at least RTFA) and stop the knee jerk "I hate republicans/I hate rush" reaction, you'll realize that
A) He has a perfectly fine point
and
B) He is not being mean spirited at all.
The acusation that is made in the article that he has been throwing baseless rasict slams on Obama is so disgustingly distorted. He more often talks about how ridiculous the far left is on him, seeing color when they claim to not. It was the left (salon.com I think? I'll have to look it up...) that said Obama wasn't "black enough", not rush. How stupid is that? People are still being judged based on the color of their skin, only its not Republicans doing it its far left democrats.
And seriously, guys? One parent was black, one was white. He then said he wasn't sure he chose to be black. Its a pefectly logical thing to ask, "Wait, does this mean you don't want to be seen as black?"
Maybe after taking a year of debate I expect to much of people, but honestly the non sequiturs and baseless attacks of slander here are so stupid and childish.
