If Rush Limbaugh is addicted to pain killers because of surgery, then he either needs further physical therapy or some sort of help getting off them. In most cases, the pain doesn't last that long, and i know - i've had surgery that requires pain killers afterwards.

Indeed, if this is what Rush is claiming, he is at a severe risk of relapsing (if he has not already).
Asking for a person's "excuse" when it comes to drugs is a HORRIBLE approach to their treatment. Have you heard the stuff Rush tries to pin on Obama when he's not joking? Have you ever been to the main page at rushlimbaugh.com? It's pretty much all about Obama and how he's ruining our lives. Even if the article in question was a joke, it still contributes to his whole overall anti-Obama mania.
