Being non-committal to the donkeys and the elephants and letting them come knocking on his door courting favors seems to be Lieberman's strategy.

- adb22791, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Agreed. For major realignment to really occur, the executive branch must also change hands, and it must be over one issue. The war in Iraq was not the deciding factor for this election; rather the deciding factors appear to be the scandals in Congress (Mark Foley, etc), the issues with Iran and North Korea, and the need for Congress to actually do something instead of just throwing pork bills all around and passing whatever the President demands.
