- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -9/+22Keith Olbermann is the only reporter to speak at least the truth as he sees it! For that I give him 100%.
- hiphoc, on 10/11/2007, -8/+15Oh stop with the "Clinton" *****. Yes he is a war criminal also for what he did in Serbia. But Bush didnt fire all the attorneys. He fired the ones who didnt want to do his political bidding. Thats a problem. It also says a lot about the attorneys he didnt fire. Like J Sutton who put those 2 border patrol agents in jail. At the same time el Booosh gives drug dealers pardons. Just do a google on "BUSH CRIME FAMILY" and pick your jaw up of the ground.
- smur, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9The war in Serbia was backed by a UN resolution and had NATO involvement. There was no enrichment of oil companies, and above all there was no detriment to personal liberties here in the USA.
- Scheitbag, on 10/11/2007, -7/+14I wasn't even aware of Keith Olbermann until a few weeks ago (I don't own a TV) when I stumbled upon him here on Digg. I have to say he gives me hope. I didn't think anyone on television was trying to speak the truth anymore. Mr. Olbermann is an extremely welcome pleasant surprise. Keep up the good work Keith!
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Digg is just as bad as any other biased news source - it just hides it under the veil of "democracy"
- blankfaze, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7It is completely customary and acceptable to dump all U.S. Attorneys when coming into office, especially if the previous president was of a different party affiliation.
It is NOT acceptable to dump specific attorneys because they are pursuing cases that are embarassing to your party or not in line with your agenda, or not pursuing cases which would be politically beneficial to you. - DanThePainter, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7>...Just do a google on "BUSH CRIME FAMILY" and pick your jaw up of the ground. >>
Fun with Google. We all can play that game:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Clinton+Crime+Family&btnG=Google+Search - WiseWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Still much better than selling a lie as best you can...
- meebio, on 10/11/2007, -5/+9Keith is the only one who seems to be able to think for themselves. I hope he'll be just as hard on the dems when they retake the white house.
- DopeWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4@DanThePainter - The fact that Clinton made errors in judgment does not justify any of the laws that Bush and his administration have broken during his tenure.
I am so sick of this childhood game of "But Mommy... little Billy had his and in the cookie jar! Why should I get in trouble for murdering the cook?" - GlenLeafJr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5huh?
- jahurt, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Here's something you won't hear on Fox News...
"Reagan replaced 89 of the 93 U.S. attorneys in his first two years in office. President Clinton had 89 new U.S. attorneys in his first two years, and President Bush had 88 new U.S. attorneys in his first two years."
http://www.citizensforethics.org/node/25836/print - lmarshall8675, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Libtard? Read the constitution buddy. This current administration has trashed one line of it after another. Habeas Corpus-GONE, Right to Privacy(no domestic spying)-GONE, and now Cheney has the balls to say he's NOT PART OF THE FREAKIN EXECUTIVE BRANCH?!?! Are you kidding me? Go grab any 8th Grade US History book and find the fun little 3 Branch tree.
- SmokedL, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Thanks guys :)
Coming back to find three replies all worthy of a digg is a nice experience that is all too rare.
No matter what our opinions may be on individual issues I think all three of us feel that an democratic medium for distribution of opinions is a necessity for democracy to flourish. I find that encouraging no matter how screwed up the political landscape may be around us.
Cheers to both of you WiseWeasel and jedikv :) - COINTELPROAgent, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Do you still make out with your sister?
- fr0mundacheese, on 10/11/2007, -6/+8Will someone please set the Bat Signal and call for Revolution already!
- K1BJF, on 10/11/2007, -6/+8Ah! There's the problem. "The truth as he sees it!"
- WiseWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Uh, no. Digg truly is democratic. That doesn't mean it's fair and unbiased, but it does show what a majority of its users find interesting, which is quite a step above just showing what a small group of people find interesting, think you'll find interesting, or are paid to promote. Until you show me a better system, this is as good as we've got.
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4you think digg being "democratic" is fair? - LOL naive boy
- lmarshall8675, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3does anyone know where to find the house voting records on the bill to defund cheney's office. i want to see what democrats caved and voted against it
- novaculus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2
Do you know the meaning of "democracy"? Digg may have a process (algorithm), but it isn't democracy. - DesuKN, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4So you disapprove of the democratic process?
- chriskzoo, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4Uh, not likely.
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4Independent? LOL you blind ideolog. Olbermann is a douchebag and Stewart (though funny) doesn't report real news.
- SenorCardgage74, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Debunk specific points or ***** off.
- sanman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Isn't this like an axed Harry Potter title? Or maybe an Indiana Jones one?
Keith Olbermann and the Temple of Zombies
Keith Olbermann and the Legion of Skulls
Keith Olbermann and the Treasure of Morgoth - jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Alright lil' Che I think its nap time
- SmokedL, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3I honestly think that is the very best way available to start getting informed. Throw your TV out and go looking for real information elsewhere. The internet being a prime source. There is a wealth of information from pretty much every angle that you could look at the issues available on the web. Unlike with the main stream media you get a reasonable idea about what most people actually think the important issues are, and what their stances are on these issues.
TV "news", especially American such, will do little but mislead and distort. The few gems worth seeing will be picked up by someone and posted online. Rational debate is replaced by "debate" within the framing of issues as dictated by your leaders. For instance, is it any sort of rational debate when you presuppose that the motivations for war were benign and anyone that wanders outside this frame will be hushed and censored? Of course not. All indications are that the motivations were anything but benign, but you are not allowed to say so.
I haven't actually thrown my TV out, but I can literally count the times I've turned it on in the last few years on my toes and fingers. I encourage everyone out there to do the same. You will literally be able to observe yourself developing a fuller and more rational understanding of the world as you stop being force fed distortions and one sided framing from the main stream media. - WiseWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Problem is, you can find just the information you're looking for on the web, and not get any kind of balanced views. People can get all their news from some extremist sites with obvious bias and some political agenda, without ever exposing themselves to any alternate viewpoints they don't want to see. The internet in itself doesn't solve the problem of information bias. People must actually put in the mental effort to seek broader coverage of particular topics. It does make more information available, but it's so vast that people can get trapped in some deluded corner of the web, possibly without realizing that they are being spoon-fed some agenda to empower some group or another. That's why news sites like Digg, with its democratically generated news, and Google News, with clickthrough-algorithm-generated news rankings, are helpful, as they serve to give a reality check to the topics and views that a majority of people find interesting. Personally, I'd much rather get my news in a somewhat democratic manner, rather than listen to what GE, Time Warner, Disney or News Corp have to tell me. Those are far from being the most biased "news" sites on the web, though... [cough]drudge[/cough]
- YellowStar, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4Vote Keith Olbermann/Jon Stewart for 2008 White House Independent.
- Quijibow, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Reality has a well known liberal bias.
- mcd6993, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Wish I could digg you up more
- Delphium226, on 10/11/2007, -7/+7I'm sure you'll be rewarded handsomely in heaven for being the last one tonguing the sphincters of those who are tearing down the very basis upon which the country was founded. And to think, you probably consider your position patriotic! BWAHAHAHAHA!
- otep, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1..
...Amen, brother.
. - deathguppie, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Crooks and Liars is lame for it's refusal to use .swf movies. I simply won't wait for it to load in an outside app.
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3LOL that made me laugh - oh wait you were serious. I feel sorry for you.
- mcd6993, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Olberman is a tool he should have stuck to sports casting . Although I do get a good laugh out of his political rhetoric.
- timothybryce, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2"Keith is the only one who seems to be able to think for themselves. I hope he'll be just as hard on the dems when they retake the white house."
HA - good one. - greg88, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Keith is a washed up has been from ESPN who tries to get ratings by having the most far left and far removed from reality guests on his show. He tried to do a real news hour but I dont think even his mother watched him so they made him into the liberal Bill O'Reilly but just without the ratings
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Mr T to Olbermann: "Quit that Jibber Jabber fool! Or I'll introduce you to my friend PAIN!!!"
- Delphium226, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4So says the person who thinks Fuax News is fair and balanced. BWAHAHAHAHA!
- appleann1, on 10/11/2007, -9/+8You're wasting your time, this is the crew that gets their news from Jon Stewart and Colbert.
- WiseWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3Why do you hate freedom?
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2Dude you are extremely gullible if you believe his crap.
- fr0mundacheese, on 10/11/2007, -6/+4The problem is: that the President will just say at the end of his term "Nuh Uhh I'm not leaving, I'm changing the rules under 'Executive Privilege' ya know"
- Egoist, on 10/11/2007, -8/+5"He fired the ones who didnt want to do his political bidding. Thats a problem."
And Clinton fired them all just because he didn't have anything to do that day? Stop being ignorant. - WiseWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1[edit]whoa, digg double posted all by itself, silly monkey![/edit]
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3Fine - the truth as I see it is Keith Olbermann is a douchebag
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -11/+7crooksandliars = moonbatsandlibtards
Have you notice how the libtards that run DIGG make sure all of the posts from the lunatic fringe left make it to the front page....even if there's only a few diggs. But there's no bias......noooooooooooooooooo...lol - LastVisibleDog, on 10/11/2007, -15/+10Olbermann is a lunatic (that nobody watches). The only thing brewing is Olbermann alcoholism-addled brain (and no, I don't have any real evidence to support the controversy brewing around the scandal of Olbermann's alcoholism - I am just using Olbermann-style 'journalism')

What is Digg?
