Upon entering "obama nobel prize" I was presented with several hits-news outlets, the nobel website, and interviews with the nobel committee.
Basically he won because Bush was such a ***** - and the committee believes in change. They also cited that they have begun trying to give the award proactively - in political support of trends that lead to peace.
