- doublefelix, on 10/16/2009, -1/+287Leave it to GOP.com not to fact check Jackie Robinson's autobiography before co-opting his endorsement for the republican party. Jon's researchers have found the most amazing quote for this one.
- gracias, on 10/17/2009, -5/+177Found this cache, WTF??!!?!?!

- Starsurfer56, on 10/16/2009, -2/+152I think that is the only time I ever been happy to see a 404 error
- lamiaconfitor, on 10/16/2009, -2/+129Bling Bling! GOP In da house!!! Get supply-side krunk!

As I watched this steamroller operation in San Francisco, I had a better understanding of how it must have felt to be a Jew in Hitler’s Germany." - lolerskate, on 10/17/2009, -1/+87The Jackie Robinsons bit just made me laugh to tears.

- BasalCellBossk, on 10/17/2009, -3/+61Deflection noted.

- ryanonfire, on 10/17/2009, -1/+45Massive fail http://theplumline.whorunsgov.com/republican-natio ...
- boombye, on 10/17/2009, -0/+40The new GOP site reminds me of the time my Grandmother bought a cassette tape for me with some middle aged white people trying to rap about math and multiplication tables and division on it.
- Mship, on 10/17/2009, -1/+40Wow the paper clip bit was funny as hell.
- Kyan, on 10/17/2009, -2/+40Thank God! Someone's got to do it. this was so over your head, wasn't it? The mock was not about redesigning the website, it was about co-opting Jackie Robinson to make it look like he would endorse Republicans when he oh so obviously did not.
Of course they have bias. Need I quote the passage about reality yet again? - jetboyterp, on 10/17/2009, -4/+42I wish Steele's blog were actually called "What Up, Bitches!"
That would be epic. - joculator, on 10/17/2009, -1/+37Haha, almost all of the black "Great Republicans" are from the 19th century.
- digitalArtform, on 10/17/2009, -1/+36You down with GOP? (Yeah you know me!)
:/ - awinters, on 10/17/2009, -0/+34Pretty weak ass deflection dude. You might have at least tried to stay on Jon Stewart and tried to find a contradiction by him.
Or you could have tried to find something doublefelix had said that was a contradiction, but to come back at him and call him a hypocrite because of something Rick Sanchez at CNN did is just lame.
Try again. - awinters, on 10/17/2009, -0/+33All of those pictures are soooooooooooooo old!
The GOP thinks that we can be fooled into believing this is a diverse party because of ***** that happened more than a century ago? All of their great accomplishments are truly great. My father is black, grew up in MS and it was the Republicans that helped him and other blacks register to vote. Republicans used to be the big tent party; the party of civil rights and they were awesome.
Then Goldwater came along, the Southern Strategy was implemented and the party did a 180 from being a big tent to being a right-wing divisive organization of older white men pretty exclusively. Lincoln wouldn't recognize the GOP today and they would hate everything he stands for if he was a candidate today.
You can't run on what you used to be. It's just not right. - danr2c2, on 10/17/2009, -1/+33Verified.
- awinters, on 10/17/2009, -0/+29The best are the trolls that are opening up accounts on GOP with obscene or inappropriate pics that will show in the "O" in "GOP" when their image comes up.
http://s841.photobucket.com/albums/zz333/Extempora ...
Also, their accomplishments page ended at 2004 last I checked.
And of course it wouldn't be the GOP without an accusation of Beck raping and murdering a girl in 1990:

- Yahn, on 10/17/2009, -2/+30No because the word ***** was used in a politically correct way there, as it was an quote of a black guy talking about white people using them as "tokens".....
- hydrodev, on 10/17/2009, -0/+25Stewar"T".
The ***** show....is on.....COMEDY CENTRAL.
RuCh is not satire. RuCh, is a ***** pill head hypocrite maniac with a touch of narcissism and megalomania.
Ditto Heads, such as yourself don't think. You just regurgitate talking points and breed.
Add something worthwhile to the planet, Jerk Off. - Sil369, on 10/17/2009, -0/+25web 2.0 wannabes
- yocouchdigga, on 10/17/2009, -0/+22Here's the actual new GOP site, you may need to update your browser, if you're running, IE, Opera, Chrome or Firefox but it's TOTALLY worth it: http://digg.com/comedy/The_New_GOP_com_Too_High_Te ...
- boombye, on 10/17/2009, -0/+22Actually we're 11 Trillion in debt, 8 Trillion due to Bush. Also, unless you make $250k a year, you shouldn't complain. You complain about us being in debt, yet you don't want to pay any taxes? Republicans always spend all our money and put us in deficits and despite how we put us back in a surplus, you guys still find crap to whine about.. All the stuff you guys whine about comes from talking points brought up by politicians taking lobbyist money for corporations.
- Larssonk22, on 10/17/2009, -2/+24404, What Do You Mean 404? ***** It! Use the Blog! ***** Thing Sucks, ***** It!

"you've got fail" - diptheria, on 10/17/2009, -0/+20no, no they weren't...
- gethane, on 10/17/2009, -1/+19GOPers don't recognize this "facts" you speak of as something that can exist. I find it ironic that the same movement (conservative christians/neocon) who used to blast the liberals for our "relative" morality and seeing things in shades of gray, rather than black or white, now practice "relative reality." There is no "truth" or "false" just propaganda to achieve their goals. The goal justifies the means for them.
- lamiaconfitor, on 10/16/2009, -0/+17You'll wish you hadn't said that now...
- CoFRBrutus, on 10/17/2009, -3/+19"1.4 TRILLION in debt now and growing faster than it EVER has. Surely there is some humor in that? "
The humor in that is that you don't seem to understand that Bush put the U.S. in this problem and this is the only way to get out of it for now. - sleepyguy22, on 10/17/2009, -0/+16WE'LL DO IT LIVE!
- wwwonka, on 10/17/2009, -1/+16why state the obvious? for god sake it's the GOP. It's like shooting fish in a barrel...with no water...with dead fish...or hell, already with bullet holes in 'em.
- induren, on 10/16/2009, -2/+16I could not have said it any better.
- mikebrochill, on 10/17/2009, -0/+14It's becoming obvious that the Daily Show is the only real news program
- gdo01, on 10/17/2009, -1/+14This isn't about their rebranding. The problem is the that the rebranding involves blatant stereotyping and lame grandparents-trying-to be-hip attempts at reaching to people who will only find your lame attempts at being "down with them" condescending.
- MisteryMeat, on 10/17/2009, -1/+13Yes, the Republican party does indeed need to reinvent itself. Browse through the Learn/Issues link on the gop.com site. There is *nothing* new to see here. They are basically just selling the same "government is bad, privatize everything" line.
- Notquitesane, on 10/17/2009, -0/+11That was amazing. I thought the swastika on Beck was a nice touch.
- Vermifax, on 10/17/2009, -0/+11More than you realize. How many Emmys Jon has now.....?
- boombye, on 10/17/2009, -0/+11The Daily Show doesn't pretend it's biased, they know they are.
- wwwonka, on 10/17/2009, -0/+10I see the GOP has found the marketing book for the New Coke campaign in the trash....and used it.
- zeiben, on 10/17/2009, -1/+11Well, fortunately you can turn to all those talented right-leaning comedians out there to balance things out, like Dennis Miller, Kelsey Grammer, and "Kit Kitredge".
- awinters, on 10/17/2009, -0/+10Ken - you guys are way too sensitive. We are making fun of stuff that is funny and inaccurate. If the GOP didn't want that they might have thought to have a working website that didn't inaccurately align people with their party and use stupid titles like "What up" for a blog.
- boombye, on 10/17/2009, -1/+11They can't even maintain a website properly, didn't have all the links working before they published all the new changes to their site, and you want them to run a country Ken? lol
- awinters, on 10/17/2009, -0/+10He is not a coward if he expresses his views without any apprehension on television for the world to see. He is not a coward because he invites people who openly oppose him on his show.
He is a comedian/actor. He has never been or claimed to be a journalist. His show is FAKE NEWS.
You're just mad because its very popular and influential, but that doesn't make it wrong. - worldstoaster, on 10/17/2009, -1/+10Sounds to me like an individual problem.
