- SpiritOfRock, on 07/16/2009, -30/+395Will somebody just make this guy president already?
- NorthMass, on 07/16/2009, -9/+290I am not a truther but we should have done a better investigation, Jesse is right.
- kemp34, on 07/16/2009, -11/+240Perhaps the greatest crime on American soil in our nation's history and the official "investigation" was a complete joke!
How is that not fishy? - latexsolarbeef, on 07/16/2009, -4/+232Great interview. Jesse's the man.
Pretty disgusting statistic, however. - Frankyfan3, on 07/16/2009, -4/+176$1 Million for investigating whether or not Clinton had an affair would be ridiculous.
The comparison of these two drastically different events, with one obviously much more important to public safety and security than the other, is disgusting.
Whatever happened on 9/11, conspiracy or none, the comparison is still outrageous and disturbing. - Lucas123, on 07/16/2009, -9/+172Gotta love Jesse.
"Payback time." - IgorUnchained, on 07/17/2009, -23/+142Everybody forgets that Ventura was a governor and a Navy SEAL. If he opens his mouth now for 9-11 Truth, he is an ex pro wrestler who did too many steroids. How convenient.
Everyone I know is a 9-11 Truther, whether they know it or not. Even if they THINK they agree with "whatever the News said".....if you were to ask them now what they think happened, their version doesnt jibe with the "official version".
Do you think Truthers are stupid? Here is a fun game. Respond to this comment with the reason that WTC7 collapsed.
Ill show you just how little you know about science and your government in about 5 minutes. It really is that easy. - ConcernedCanuck, on 07/16/2009, -10/+74How about what intelligence agents have to say:
http://digg.com/politics/40_U_S_intelligence_agent ...
including:
Coleen Rowley – Former Special Agent and Minneapolis Division Counsel, FBI. 24-year FBI career.
AGENT ROWLEY WAS SELECTED ONE OF TIME MAGAZINE’S THREE 2002 PERSONS OF THE YEAR FOR REVEALING FBI HEADQUARTERS’ EFFORTS TO
“THROW UP ROADBLOCKS AND UNDERMINE” FBI FIELD INVESTIGATIONS OF AL-QAIDA OPERATIVES IN THE FOUR WEEKS PRIOR TO 9/11 - HimThatSpeaks, on 07/17/2009, -2/+63The skullet has to go, but calling him a washed-up *****? When was the last time you had a paid spot on national TV? When was the last time you were put on TV so people could hear your views? I would say he is still relevant and doing what he wants, and who gives a *****, he was a ***** SEAL and national star, so ***** you! What have you accomplished in your life that is so great???
- macmcraeart, on 07/17/2009, -2/+63that guy would tear washington a new *****.
- Dustin00, on 07/17/2009, -1/+57The investigation should have started immediately.
Years after the event was pathetic and either demonstrated gross negligence or something was covered up. I don't buy that the buildings were rigged or anything like that, but SOMETHING was being swept under the rug during that delay. - JMScheib, on 07/17/2009, -3/+58The gov't changed the laws of physics, clearly.
- Bullislander05, on 07/17/2009, -4/+57What the hell is up with these names people sling around? Truther, birther, etc...
Jesse Ventura does not subscribe to any conspiracy theories. He doesn't follow the typical rhetoric of a conspiracy theorist who insists that they are right and looks for illogical locations to attack arguments. He simply asks for a clearer description of exactly what happened and why. Everyone should be doubtful of everything, and if you aren't, you're putting yourself in a situation where you can be severely hurt. It's called being a skeptic and it's widely accepted as a method towards ensuring your sanity, not the opposite.
The people like you who make claims like this without research or even watching the guy are the ones who are ***** nuts. - Sewermutt, on 07/17/2009, -30/+80No reason to spend more than $4 million on investigating 9/11. Everyone knows it was an inside job.
- yocouchdigga, on 07/16/2009, -7/+55this has been said for years, regardless of whether you think it was a secret lizard-alien government conspiracy theory, this fact is absolutely obscene and I applaud Jesse for speaking up.
- richmomz, on 07/17/2009, -9/+52Ventura was a demolitions expert with U.S. special forces. I think he knows a thing or two about blowing things up.
- WordsnCollision, on 07/16/2009, -10/+52VERY cool interview - I worry about Jesse tho, he looks a little "shaky".
- kemp34, on 07/16/2009, -4/+46Do you mean Bob Barr?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/spec ... - inactive, on 07/17/2009, -8/+46Still waiting to see the video of the "plane" going into the Pentagon.
Cell phone calls lasting ~20 minutes on United flight 93? Well hell - why bother rigging planes to serve Wi-Fi, when aircards should work fine? - IgorUnchained, on 07/17/2009, -6/+43I dont think that Ventura's expertise is in the field of engineering or architecture....as Digg4Peace says, he is an expert in demolition. As such, he recognized the buildings demolition as controlled. I know...being a Navy Seal wouldnt allow a person to know how the government operates or how large things are brought down. He was probably working on his sun tan the whole time!
If you are interested in what Architects and Engineers think....here is a site for you!
http://www.ae911truth.org/
As a truther....I DONT have to tell you how the event happened. That is the point....I am looking for the truth. I know enough to know that the official story is horribly flawed and that every day more people are coming out. Kurt Sonnefeld, an employee for FEMA who was given unrestricted access to Ground Zero (and was called to New York on September 10th) has film and video that was taken for the investigation of the event that never came. Look him up and read his story.
Navy Seals/Governors, FEMA government workers, Engineers and Architects. These are the kind of people who want a new investigation. The families of the victims and scores of first responders were the people who first asked for a new investigation.
Im sure all of these people are dumb and dont deserve a voice, but Im not sure that is how this country is supposed to work.
By the way....you never did tell me how WTC7 came down! - buckrogers1965, on 07/17/2009, -4/+40Don't forget that the President and Vice President absolutely refused to testify under oath in front of the 9/11 commission. Good times.
- pyrogyro, on 07/17/2009, -2/+37This guy is AMAZING hes kicked Hannity's ass sooo many times and always speaks the truth
- kemp34, on 07/16/2009, -8/+43I didn't say anything about it being biased, I said it was a joke (i.e. the actual 9/11 Commission Report said NOTHING about WTC 7 and on and on).
Even CIA vets saw it as a joke:
http://unansweredquestions.org/index.php/2007/09/2 ... - fancypantscz, on 07/16/2009, -6/+41I would have asked about his opinions concerning health care legislation, the great recession or warrantless wiretapping but I guess LK is understandably curious about ultimate fighting and other important pay-per-view programs.
- digg4peace, on 07/17/2009, -9/+43there were plenty of traces of explosives, not to mention many eyewitness accounts...including NYC firefighters
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids. ... - richmomz, on 07/17/2009, -10/+43Once again "The Body" proves he's got "The Brains".
- Chrysalii, on 07/17/2009, -4/+33You're the one trying to prove something. you tell me.
- deathmatch, on 07/17/2009, -4/+33Ventura's views coincide with my views.
Therefore I agree. He's the "informed" citizen...not the "distracted" citizen as many people are. - MatthewTheRaven, on 07/17/2009, -8/+37WTC7 is problematic not because of any particularly reliable conspiracy theory but because the photographic and video evidence just don't show clearly how badly it was damaged.
We do know that WTC7 had debris from a 110 story concrete and steel building fall that appeared to create at least a 10 story gash in the corner of the building. There's no easy way to know how deeply that gash penetrated, but there is some newer video and photo evidence that shows it to be pretty severe and something like 1/4 of the way into the interior of the building. Fires burned for hours without any way to extinguish them. The combination of damage and fire (NIST says fire only) weakened critical columns to the point of failure and the building began to bulge on one side. The east penthouse area collapsed and possibly took a good portion of that side of the building with it and then the rest fell a bit afterwords.
I know that there are inconsistencies within the NIST report, especially about the damage that occured. I also know that you can see the gash in certain pictures, you can hear firemen talking about just how bad the damage looks and later talking about the bulge in the southwest corner of the building and the creaking that was heard a while before the collapse.
WTC 7 is the most problematic issue in the entire thing if you believe that there was no inside job, I grant you that. But truthers want us to believe that incredible amounts of poorly documented damage and fire couldn't possibly have caused the collapse. On the other hand, they accept that there is a perfect conspiracy full of what would've had to have been hundreds or thousands of people, none of whom have ever come forward, able to wire up three buildings for demolition while nobody in those buildings noticed what was going on, all without any real evidence for their point of view other than their disbelief of the possibility of the government's version. - BIOHazard87, on 07/17/2009, -5/+30Ron Paul voted for the impeachment, but he was not a huge leading man of the impeachment.
- BotchaMcCoola, on 07/17/2009, -3/+28Everyone is overlooking a critical point. Whether truthers are right or Atta and the Hamburg cell did it (as I believe) it was in no way a reason to start wars and waste a 100 times, and still counting fast, as much as the damage to our country from the 911 crimes themselves. It was definitely no military attack of any kind . That much is for sure. (Did they use Afghan long range bombers?) My guess is that it will take a long time for any others like Atta to cook up a workable such crime again. In fact I think our security would prevent any such crime since early 2002.
- Farmer77, on 07/17/2009, -2/+27I would vote for this man.
- TragedyAndHope, on 07/17/2009, -4/+28I'm a retard? You type like a dyslexic, bumbling 78 year old who has trouble with English. Your intuition is obviously wrong if you expect a steel framed building to fall as it did...without explosives that is.
- kemp34, on 07/16/2009, -16/+39Yeah, you know, we should just go with the story that Bush's cronies put in the media right when it happened, no investigation, that would have been even cheaper! It was only the biggest crime on American soil possibly ever. We shouldn't waste money investigating that sort of thing. We shouldn't figure out how our internal defenses totally failed, instead we should just pass massive draconian legislation at incredible expense with minimal oversight allowing for unprecedented internal spying in direct contravention of the U.S. Constitution! That's the ticket!
How dare folks question the government's response to 9/11!! I mean, we found an unscathed passport of one of the terrorists amidst the rubble of the three steel framed buildings that evaporated, that proves everything! - vbullinger, on 07/17/2009, -2/+25Exactly. Although, technically, everyone thinks there was a conspiracy. Some theorizing that Osama and his band of brainwashed idiots did it, while others think rogue factions within our own government did.
People working together toward a nefarious goal is a conspiracy. 19 hijackers with boxcutters coordinating together to take down 4 planes is a conspiracy. And, since we haven't gotten to the bottom of it, that makes it a conspiracy theory. It might end up being true, but for now, it's a conspiracy theory. - americanoboy, on 07/17/2009, -6/+299/11 aside, no matter how much proof you show, the people who don't want to believe it will come up with endless excuses.
endantisemitism is a perfect example of this. - NorthMass, on 07/17/2009, -2/+24"Jesse Ventura does not subscribe to any conspiracy theories. He doesn't follow the typical rhetoric of a conspiracy theorist who insists that they are right and looks for illogical locations to attack arguments. He simply asks for a clearer description of exactly what happened and why."
I think this sums up Jesse perfectly, and why I think its cool when he brings up 9/11, and why I get annoyed when someone like Alex Jones does. Someone like Jones acts like they are 100% right with their theories, when in reality they are just theories. Jesse simply asks questions. - MatthewTheRaven, on 07/17/2009, -11/+33Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Given that 100% of the 'proof' I've read from 9/11 conspiracy theorists are quickly debunked, show an incredible misunderstanding of physics, or are simply laughable (my favorite is that no planes actually hit the towers), I can see absolutely no reason to blame anything other than pissed off Muslim extremists coupled with incompetence at many levels.

on and on...
they just refused to look into it. open and SHUT case. - digg4peace, on 07/17/2009, -5/+27Love Jesse! Fearless speaker of truth to power!
- EndAntiSemitism, on 07/16/2009, -26/+47Right... The same Niels Harrit who published a "peer reviewed" "paper" in the Bentham "Open Access" Journal.
Whose editor in chief RESIGNED, BECAUSE of that paper, and said it never should have been published:
"“I cannot accept that this topic is published in my journal. The article has nothing to do with physical chemistry or chemical physics, and I could well believe that there is a political viewpoint behind its publication. If anyone had asked me, I would say that the article should never have been published in this journal. Period.”
http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/2009/04/benth ...
The same "journal" who accepted a fake hoax paper by CRAP?
"Davis and Anderson, writing under the noms de plume David Phillips and Andrew Kent, also dropped a hefty hint of the hoax by giving their institutional affiliation as the Center for Research in Applied Phrenology, or CRAP.
Yet four months after the article was submitted, "David Phillips" received an email from Sana Mokarram, Bentham's assistant manager of publication:
This is to inform you that your submitted article has been accepted for publication after peer-reviewing process in TOISCIJ. I would be highly grateful to you if you please fill and sign the attached fee form and covering letter and send them back via email as soon as possible to avoid further delay in publication.
The publication fee was $800, to be sent to a PO Box in the United Arab Emirates."
Oops! If that is the only accomplishment the truthers have, then it clearly shows they have nothing worthwhile. - inactive, on 07/17/2009, -4/+24I love Jesse Ventura. Hes a class act. He shouldn't sell himself short though. He was a SEAL member,im sure he would have done great in MMA.
- NorthMass, on 07/16/2009, -7/+27Actually from what I have heard the commission report blamed our foreign policy for the attacks, so it probably wasn't biased, it just was ignored by virtually all politicians.
- skipvt, on 07/17/2009, -2/+21No matter what you think of Jesse, he tells it like he sees it, doesn't pull the punches. Talked the talk and walked the walk, in and out of office. How many politicians do the same.
- inactive, on 07/17/2009, -8/+27Building 7 was built over a power plant substation and had very atypical construction. It sustained heavy damage because of fires caused by the initial plane impact to one of the towers, and from debris from the tower collapses. Due to it's substandard atypical construction, structural damage, and several hours of unchallenged internal blazes, wtc7 collapsed under it's own weight.
Probability pwns possibility. - khfn, on 07/17/2009, -1/+20Washed up because he has a skullet or washed up because he's had a successful career in like, 4 fields and still manages to be relevant with a constant invitation to many media outlets?
- card51short, on 07/17/2009, -9/+27actually maybe you should take your advice from the post above and do some research before you talk about things.
Ventura is totally on board with us wackos who think Government would do a false flag attack.
I know, I know...the guys with boxcutters did everything we should just shut up...There, there...There, there.... - richmomz, on 07/17/2009, -4/+22Whether you're part of the 9/11 Truth movement or not, the news content on Infowars is vastly more interesting and thought-provoking than anything you will find on CNN or Fox.
As an example:
Infowars: Today featured stories Obama's head science advisor advocating a racial eugenics policy in his own textbook, preparations for mass Swine flu vaccinations and possible forced vaccinations, Marc Faber's commentary on the status of the economy, and the growing outcry against Federal Reserve secrecy.
CNN: Today's featured stories: Gay dolphin couple splits when one goes straight, toddler floats on toy truck, a story about Michelle Obama's great-great-great-great grandparents, Congress debates 'Wise Latina' remark for 2nd straight day, and about 8 hours of non-stop coverage about Michael Jackson's hair catching fire 25 years ago.
You tell me where the real news is. - Arlo003, on 07/17/2009, -4/+21To be fair, Ron Paul would impeach just about all Presidents on Constitutional grounds. And I agree!
- blipblopblip, on 07/17/2009, -3/+20Wow, that wasn't very nice! ^
