‘Iraq Is Now Bush’s Baby, And Cheney Doesn’t Want To Be Tarred With It'

thinkprogress.org — Questioning why Vice President Cheney has been “publicly silent and mostly out of sight” since the ISG report, U.S. News reports that a former Cheney adviser explains, “Iraq is now Bush’s baby, and Cheney doesn’t want to be tarred with it in the eyes of historians.”

    Halliburton's stock is up 3000% since Cheney took office. Coincidence? He's still getting a salary from Halliburton as well. (Although it's "deferred" so that should make it okay, right?)

    Tens Billions of dollars in Iraq money are "lost" all the time as well, and the people investigating it usually somehow wind up "suicided" or at least demoted.

    These guys are basically looting our country in the name of "fighting terror" -- it's your basic protection racket.

    How about being tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail? Maybe that that is something he should be more worried about in an American historical tradition.
