The link is to a story about an unapologetic Frank Miller who's come under fire for his views on Islam.

We need to scream louder and longer than the politically correctness police about the actions of CAIR and MAS. We need to call a spade a spade and tell the world that the "victims" of islamophobia portrayed by CAIR and MAS are nothing but pawns being used to destroy our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. We need to have the courage to criticize Islam and Muslim. We need to develop at least a conversational knowledge of the history of Islam and its personalities so we can understand that they want the whole world to live in a 7'th century theocracy where a mere handful of Imams dictate every action by every person.

I've been reading the above comments with great interest for the last hour. I would like to add my two cents if you don't mind.
I'm an atheist and a conservative. Makes me a bit of an oxymoron or moron depending on your thinking. I don't fear the Christian religion because it seems to do a pretty good job policing it's self and shunning the radicals.
But, the Muslims scare the hell out of me. I'm not the most intelligent person in the world, probably average or slightly below, but I can see with clear eyes that the Muslims are the greatest threat civilized man has ever faced. These are not good people and are quite frankly, are insane.
I expected to see our nation rise up and defend it's self after 9/11 with all the fury and might we could muster, but our leaders (who are bought off by the Saudis) tried to temper our anger by asking us to continue life as before and not to take anger out on the Muslims. They gave us Afghanistan and Iraq to sooth our anger while leaving the greatest threats alone to continue to grow and become more powerful.
I fear that our nation and it's people have been "neutered" by our leaders, the colleges, and the media. We are being threatened every day by an worldwide enemy and all we worry about is what Britney Spears exposed to the cameras this week. Our borders are unprotected, our soldiers guarding our borders are under orders to run away when challenged, and our country is being overrun by illegals.
I fear that when the Muslims manage to finally nuke our country, nothing will be done. There will be no backlash against the Muslims by our citizens because our government and media won't allow it. Anyone that defends our country from these insane people will be arrested and prosecuted.
I am beginning to realize that our leaders (both democrat and republican), the media, and the colleges have already sold the USA and it's citizens out.
I am in agreement with the gentleman above about being prepared for our own personal fatwas. My government may deny me the right to defend my country, but they will not deny me the right to protect my loved ones and my home.
Sorry to sound pessimistic, but it's hard to stay optimistic during these crazy times. The next few years (decades?) are going to get ugly for us.

Don't want great-granddaughters killed by a zealot suicide bomber living in the USA or wearing burkas (in which case, dead would probably be better?!) Interesting note: Spellchecker doesn't recognize burka.

Colorado) is the only politician that has thought about what it would take to deter a bunch of zealous nuts that pine for a paradise/whorehouse in the after life. This people don't care if they die but they revere a meteorite that fell in the desert a couple of thousand years ago and is now housed in a square cinder block building. Tancredo's idea? Warn any and all jihadis that if they really want a battle of civilizations and bring mass destruction to our cities we are willing to bring mass destruction to their holy site. Nuke our cities, we nuke Mecca. Mutually assured destruction kept the Russians at bay we need a new disincentive. If 100,000 of our citizens killed does not call for drastic measures, nothing will.
