- doublehead, on 02/16/2008, -20/+135She should get in touch with Congressman Wexler who's heading up the drive for impeachment in the US Congress. Regardless how long it takes, it needs to be done.
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -33/+137Hey Bush voting asswipes, remember how you pathetic, slack jawed ***** paralyzed the country with your whitewater and blowjob *****? Guess what, leading a country to war using lies resulting in massive human carnage is much, MUCH worse. Get ready bitches, get ready...
- videomad, on 02/16/2008, -19/+77Hope im still alive at 86 you go girl ( : p
- notque, on 02/16/2008, -20/+52Watergate wasn't serious. It was irrelevant when you consider that the Pentagon Papers were released.
Vietnam/Cambodia/Laos are war crimes as are Iraq/Afghanistan
And it will take the same types of things to stop them it always does. Hard work, and dedication. Teaching others around you, and civil disobedience.
Impeachment is as irrelevant as watergate, because it will do nothing. The next president will continue these policies like all presidents do. It's us vs. them. Don't be fooled. - DephexTwin, on 02/16/2008, -3/+24If you can't control it now, it's probably only going to get worse when you're elderly.
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -6/+25If that's true, then you must be the biggest liberal on the face of this planet. My brain hurts trying to process what you just said (though granted, this is far from an unusual occurrence). Personally, I think digg should implement some filter that limits the number of nonsensical and contradictory statements allowed in a single post.
- Frostman3D, on 02/16/2008, -19/+37If there was ever a case for impeachment, this is it.
- feenxfire, on 02/16/2008, -8/+24Seriously. I'm so glad we had all those conservatives to "think" us into Iraq.
- RedPhalanx, on 02/16/2008, -4/+19The majority of Democratic leadership in Congress (with the exception of Dennis) is opposed to impeachment. Boot them in '08. I hope either a Ron Paul Republican or someone with sanity runs against Pelosi.
- hoovcluck, on 02/16/2008, -7/+21I am so sick of this partisan bickering. You are the personification of the vitriol and hate that is dividing this country. "pathetic, slack jawed *****" WTF? Are we not all Americans? You my friend are just as bad as all the other hate-mongers trying to divide this country along political lines. In the next few years you should do us all a favor and try to grow up and start to channel that hatred into something productive.
- badqat, on 02/16/2008, -8/+21Get ready for what? Because I'm pretty sure the speaker isn't going to let anything happen...
- Woolis, on 02/16/2008, -12/+24Impeachment aside, she's going to begin fasting if she doesn't get the attention that she wants? She could also try holding her breath for faster results.
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -0/+11You don't believe it will work and the sad thing is that neither do the Democrats. It's all about political grand standing. Just another money wasting strategy to keep them busy so they don't actually do anything positive for the country. Business as usual inside the beltway.
- Mardala, on 02/16/2008, -8/+19well here we go, more baseless liberal bashing ... if you republicans want there is way more ammo against your party.
But seriously, Wexler, Kucinich, Hall ... we need to get this ball rolling. Even though its their last year in office, it will show the country and the world that maybe the US Congress has some balls. Also once impeached none of these guys can run for an elected position. They should be criminally prosecuted. Its time to get this moving. - inactive, on 02/16/2008, -11/+22The United States will be categorically incredible for decades if G.W.Bush isn't impeached, prosecuted and convicted. Impeachment would not be enough, a full prison sentence is all that would save the US a sweeping international humiliation. We here in Europe are watching closely what's left of the rule of law in the US. We have some experience with antidemocratic forces taking over the reigns of free society.
And this one sure quacks like the mother of all ducks. - inactive, on 02/16/2008, -6/+17Have all americans been infected by some brain parasyte? This is becoming an absurd discussion. You people have become the laughing stock for the world.
- sambapati87, on 02/16/2008, -2/+12And only one side will have guns.
- malman4, on 02/16/2008, -2/+12Maybe it will start when he is old enough to vote.
- BobbleBingnut, on 02/16/2008, -4/+14Our strategies need to be multipronged. Let them impeach. This can be addressed on many levels, all legal and moral, of course.
- octurian, on 02/16/2008, -4/+13As much as I might agree that Bush should be drawn and quartered, not a damn thing is going to happen. The Democrats haven't got the votes, or the balls to stand up to King George. Sure there are a handful who have taken a stand and grew a spine, but the majority of the majority party time and again has shown us they will gladly bend over and take it from George, and follow right in line with his wishes. I weep for the future of my once great nation.
- masterwalls69, on 02/16/2008, -10/+19Bush Lied - Million PLUS have DIED. Impeach BUSH, if nothing else. America is with you.
- DaDrake, on 02/16/2008, -8/+17What the extreme left doesn't understand is democrats are patriots. They aren't going to allow party politics split up this country to "make a point". They also understand how baseless these acquisitions are. Acting under false pretenses and fabricating evidence are two completely seperate things. Really difficult to make a case against President Bush when nearly every European country's intelligence report supported the same view. Of coarse.... most "far-left" individuals try to paint a black and white picture.
- Mardala, on 02/16/2008, -0/+9Huh? This is about impeachment hearings ... Its just all these childish comments by some Republican fanboys that are annoying.
- fotbr, on 02/16/2008, -1/+9That'll never happen. The media is helping solidify his reputation as insane.
- bonmot5, on 04/08/2009, -7/+15She stated her reason for pushing it in spite of the time element. If they get away with it,
it WILL set a precedent for those who come after Bush. We can not let future presidents think that this is acceptable. The president is not in office to "protect the American people" he is there to uphold the Constitution! - BobbleBingnut, on 02/16/2008, -8/+16Obviously less impotent than you, as he is a congressman who has done something, what are you doing?
- bakagaigin, on 02/16/2008, -0/+7Wow weird metaphor overload.
- Mardala, on 02/16/2008, -2/+9and I think that is what impeachment hearings will do ... look a little deeper into the lies that led us into an illegal war.
- GhostyBoy, on 02/16/2008, -3/+10I don't think anyone could have predicted how bad Bush was going to be. Except maybe Alex Jones, but most people STILL won't listen to him.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zpiDqjW-TxY - unbreakable, on 02/16/2008, -7/+14You are not a ***** if you voted for Bush.
You are a ***** if you still support him. - Mardala, on 02/16/2008, -3/+9wow liberal moonbat. Thats up there with commie pinko.
- aerophantom, on 02/16/2008, -2/+7fasting? I think that only worked with Gandhi.
- dmbsoc8, on 02/16/2008, -3/+8Where was she four years ago?
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -8/+13Civil war in the US has become unavoidable. I have seen several civil wars up close, how they start and how they escalate and I am 100% sure that this dualism between conservative and liberal in the US will lead to massive bloodshed within 10 years.
- RevJonathan, on 02/16/2008, -2/+7Under the patriot act? Yes it is. Waterboarding is also allowed. If you don't like it, write your congressman.
- iamnot, on 02/16/2008, -3/+8Face it conservative whack job, caps lock does not make you right.
Now go care about your country. - DephexTwin, on 02/16/2008, -2/+7What do you even mean by that?
- octurian, on 02/16/2008, -3/+8When the Oil standard is moved to Euro's you damn sure better care. The fact that the oil standard is in dollars is all thats keeping our economy going at the moment. By the way, you check an exchange rate lately there sparky?
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -4/+9I was going to make some kind of joke about her needing to fast for a while, then I GISed her. She looks like she did a tour or three in Auschwitz. Someone get this woman a sandwich, stat!
http://web.mac.com/sidhall/iWeb/BettyHall/Photos_f ...
Seriously though - I don't think she'd live through fasting. She should just chain herself to AirForce One or something. - PalIkas, on 02/16/2008, -5/+9United States of America = Dark Comedy.... Rating 1 out of 10 for best head up ass trick.........
- bjornski, on 02/16/2008, -6/+10Perfect example of why such a large percentage of world citizens thinks Americans suck.
But you don't care. Puff ut that chest, wave your gun around. Yer tuff! ***** 'em all! - inactive, on 02/16/2008, -1/+5No it won't. Who the ***** read michaelmoore.com except liberal wackos.
- say592, on 02/16/2008, -4/+8Shes 86, its not going to be to hard to just wait her out...
I mean, if she stops eating, she will down and out within a week. - GhostyBoy, on 02/16/2008, -1/+5Impeachment is like a Pandora's box. Once you open the floodgates for investigation and criticism of the Bush administration you won't be able to close it. All the lies and abuses of office and war-crimes will explode into view and it's going to be really hard for people to find a way to call it something other than high treason.
- flaglover, on 02/17/2008, -0/+4Whether it's Bush or another republican, these kool-aid drinkers are the children of drug induced parents and you will never see an end to the nonsense.
- DephexTwin, on 02/16/2008, -2/+5Uh, I would say the word "think" was in quotes for a reason.
- TheSeptimHeir, on 02/16/2008, -1/+4Liberal OR Conservative...Hillary is scary.
- Cyberdactyl, on 02/16/2008, -5/+8Wow an article from fatboy.com
This should spin up the extreme left with "Hell Yes, do it" and the extreme right with, "Just another internet left wing rant." - leftyslament, on 02/17/2008, -2/+5I love the classic myth that the libruls hate guns and want to take them away from you. That's ludicrous drivel intended to divide Americans. I'm a freaking socialist and I'm very pro gun. I don't know anyone left or right, who is pro gun control. Oh, and calling leftists "moonbats" is incredibly dorky.
/liberal as they come, but still a Texan - lhnz, on 02/16/2008, -8/+11He was talking about Congressman Wexler not himself. Learn to read?
