- jana67, on 05/07/2008, -1/+43Ron Paul IS the http://best.hopeforamerica.ever.com/
- conza88, on 05/07/2008, -2/+44He's already my President & Commander in Chief!
- ChiefRonPaul, on 05/07/2008, -1/+42The r3volution is poised and ready to march. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!! I will see all of you 7/12/08 to put my down payment on our freedom.
- Fabio1976, on 05/07/2008, -2/+43GO AMERICANS!!!! GO PAULITES!!!
A freedom-loving citizen in the EUSSR - inthesun, on 05/07/2008, -0/+40Sometimes, the quite unexpected happens and we have a real reason to celebrate. I want Ron Paul to be our next President. It is time for our country to have a person with integrity and honesty leading the way. Every Paul supporter should be finding 10 people they can inform about Ron Paul. Let the word spread!
- NeoConned08, on 05/07/2008, -1/+40Im glad to see Ron Paul's new book The Revolution: A Manifesto is out and up in New York Times best selling list along with being #1 on Amazon a little while there. Perhaps now the public can get a sampling of reality minus the spin of the pundits and see the train wreck that is coming economically. His suggested reading list was quite informative as well. I don't know about you folks but I'm not very pleased with the America I've inherited and I look with great trepidation towards the future in store for our children. No nation has ever been in this much debt in all of history. The manufacturing base has been decimated, the currency is worth only 4cents it's value since when the Federal Reserve was created. China's middle class, albeit small in comparison to their own population, is almost equivalent to the whole US population. I don't think people here are grasping the magnitude of what that means. Military Keynesianism can only last for so long.
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -1/+37I hope people backing McCain realize they are endorsing more war. Americans are sick of it!
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+35McCain will NOT win! If you want to save the republican party vote Ron Paul!
- katie212, on 05/07/2008, -1/+36Ron Paul is the only clear choice to be Americas next president. With obama, clinton or mccain you get the globalized "North American Union" and loss of the "United States of America" as our sovereign nation. Please continue to spread the message of true freedom to all Americans and get them to read the U.S. constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Independence is the exact opposite of "Interdependence" that all of these globalists preach. We can be good neighbors to others without becoming a different globalized entity such as the planned North American Union.
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+34The Heart of America still lives! DIGGIT!
- XanderDee, on 05/07/2008, -2/+35The statements in this document is logical so why does illogical arguments win the election?
- thrive868, on 05/07/2008, -1/+33Truly an inspiring read.
- rexblade, on 05/07/2008, -0/+32Interesting. Still worries me though all this strategy is only possible in a fair election. Regardless will be damn cool if R.P. gets to speak at the convention.
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+31Ron Paul is the only hope for moving America forward.Of all the announced candidates his is the only plan that makes sense whether the problem is health care or the economy or foreign relations or our liberty.
Some people like to think that we are stuck with choosing which Senator that refused to sponsor or cosponsor the Enumerated Powers act we should vote for.
It is like asking which prison you want to spend the next four years in.
What is most important is our liberty.Without that we cannot prosper. In order for us to be free we must also be secure. We are not secure at home with hundreds of thousands of troops in 100 other countries playing nursemaid and rich uncle or fighting against an "ism".
One thing is for sure, we cannot keep going down the road we are on. Our current path is unsustainable and irresponsible.
Congress has lately been discussing the suspension of the federal fuel tax in order to give us a break on our fuel prices when that will likely have little effect.
If we don't do something about the falling value of the dollar we will see no difference at the pump.It does not make sense for the Congress to decide on which action they can take that will make it look like they did something about the problem. They fail to realize that by blocking refinery construction and limiting drilling they are the cause of the fuel prices.I saw one member of Congress on C-SPAN telling the host that they were going to demand that Saudi Arabia step up its production!
Again we see why this Democrat led Congress has the lowest approval rating ever in the history of such data. Congress wants to solve all of the problems with another program or another law and if they can't do that they vote on meaningless resolutions. It is my hope that we get people in Congress who consider liberty and freedom important enough to consider before passing a law or creating a program or voting on some resolution.People who will be like Ron Paul and ask if the Constitution provides for the law or program or action.
If we can't find enough Republicans and Democrats to do that we should support other parties candidates. It would be a great day in America if we saw a majority of Representatives in Congress who are not Dem or Rep and maybe we could get this country going again.
With Ron Paul in the White House and a huge turnover in the Congress we could finally show the DC crowd that we are serious about Americans who are young or yet to be born who would be saddled with war and oppression.
Ron Paul already won because he brought the issues to the forefront. He already won when the GOP put up a candidate in the Texas primary against him. He already won by showing that Americans united for the purpose of changing our course and stopping the wars and increasing freedom can be a force to be reckoned with.
I voted for Ron Paul for president in '88.I have never regretted that vote. - V3n0M, on 05/07/2008, -0/+27Ron Paul is a genius. He's been in the game a long time... he's got a few tricks up his sleeve yet...
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -2/+27every true freedom loving Patriot should support Ron Paul
- 8secretlove, on 05/07/2008, -0/+24Digg is getting Ron Pauled. Just finished Ron Paul's book The Revolution: A Manifesto. It's amazing. Support the only true candidate for president in 2008 http://www.youtube.com/DrRonPaul4President
- katie212, on 05/07/2008, -1/+19Quote: " It's just not worth it for the mainstay of the party to nominate this guy, even if he wins, and have him turn around so many of their current policies. Even though he's right that he represents old republican values" The problem then becomes that "THEIR" values ISNOT and CANNOT coexist with the Declared U.S. Constitutions code of rules. If one has to go...Then it should be the NEO=NEW Republicans. These people need to get their own party and call it the GNP for Grand New Party, and leave our GOP(Grand Old Party) Alone and completely.
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+18I just love burying troll comments.
- carter1955, on 05/07/2008, -0/+17Ron Paul, the one and only totally controlled candidate of the people not the corporations as his donation's will prove for themselves. All Americans you have a GREAT choice for our next President and the only candidate who will actually look after you, your job and most of all your country.
- Todash19, on 05/07/2008, -1/+14Did you just say the GOP is stable? Are you for real?
- inactive, on 05/07/2008, -0/+12There are procedural reason they must let him speak. He has sufficient delegates and has not dropped out
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -0/+12No matter who, no matter what..
The rEVOLution is on. - inactive, on 05/07/2008, -1/+12Still crying?
- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -0/+10you need about 400 or more if it says R.P.
Obama seems much less - Sunking278, on 05/07/2008, -0/+9You may be right, Cashman, and I hope you are; but I've read differing information that it is basically McCain's pregorative as to who gets to speak. What will be really interesting is whether Bush will make an appearance.
- trumpydumpy, on 05/08/2008, -1/+10Hmm, 175 diggs and still not popular? Very odd considering I see tons of less news worthy items getting front-paged at 30 diggs and less. Great algorithm you've got, digg. Very non-biased indeed.
- dcmjzero, on 05/07/2008, -0/+9That is the big piece of this puzzle: IF they let him speak. I would ruin the convention for them. So my guess is he will not be allowed near the convention.
- dcmjzero, on 05/07/2008, -1/+10Much like the Titanic was on a stable course...
- UtubReptilian, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7Hey, if you are reading this then, You've got Ron Pauled! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWLeGpvLpS8
- rexblade, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7I had the chance to catch Ron Paul when he cam to our town in Febuary. 2 days notice 1500 people packed the banquet/conference room at the down town double tree. This was one of our heaviest weeks for snow in the area and literally all public buildings like schools and colleges had been closed that week but it didn't stop the revolution. Our oh so informative local media went out of their way to not go out of their way so news of his visit was known to the internet savvy and our friends. The energy and enthusiasm during his speech was truly inspiring and if the RNC is anything like that I don't really see how a pandering speech by any of the other candidates (especially McCain) could even be taken seriously even by themselves. But as we know this is a shady bunch and perhaps the Neo-GOP will have the crowd planted with boo-ers like the crap they pulled in a few of the debates.
Knowing what the majority of Americans think about the war could result in a false flag when we get closer to election time in order to deceive Americans again that the "War on terror" must continue and McCain will be the one "keep us safe". If that happens I really hope enough of America has figured out this played out manipulation for exactly what it is.
If anyone wants to see the Ron Paul visit im talking about check out Ron Paul Spokane on Youtube. - inactive, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6If you ever want to prove to an Obamalander that he's not anti-war all you need do is mention his speech at the Wilson Center where he goes on and on about the right war.
- Sunking278, on 05/07/2008, -3/+9I'm sorry, I gave this article a digg, but this is nothing more than an extremely naive fantasy. We all know the Republicans are hellbent for self-annihilation, having stood by this rotten Bush Administration that has corrupted every value Republicans ever claimed to have. We live in an Orwellian age now, and fear is destroying this country, the GOP very much included. I am truly sorry that Ron Paul will never be Commander-in-Chief, for he alone is deserving to hold that post among the past and present Democratic and Republican candidates. Good things, hopefully, will come of the Ron Paul Revolution, but we have extremely difficult times ahead with whichever of the Three Stooges moves into the White House. (I have a very dark feeling about that outcome, if you catch my drfit...)
P.S. Frankly, I'm getting a little tired of hearing about Obama being the 'anti-war' candidate and all this other b.s. surrounding this evil human being who styles himself as the new Messiah. Even those who are not enthusiastic for Obama are holding out some hope he'll back down the Zionist Lobby, or end the war, and other such silliness. If that is you, then you are blind, in all due respect. If you thought a McCarthy-esque prevailed in the years immediately following 9-11, you just wait for what the dictator Obama and his minions have in store. No, I am not paranoid, more than enough evidence has surfaced showing Obama's true (Marxist) colors. God Save America! - inactive, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5lol great!

And now for a joke:
Q: What is the difference between ignorance and apathy?
A: I don’t know and I don’t care! - john2kdiggs, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3I'm a lifelong Republican and admit that our party has zero chance of winning with McCain as nominee. It perplexes me as to why the party leadership choose to rally behind a candidate who wanted to run against us in 2004 as John Kerry's Vice President. John McCain is not a real Republican, otherwise he would have never considered becoming Kerry's VP in 2004.
Ron Paul, on the other hand, is a real Republican with real Republican values. He's the one we need to represent us on the ballot in November. - inactive, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Your name tells why you are here. SPAM
- btschul, on 06/05/2008, -0/+0Mccain doesn't stand a chance against obama. If republicans were smart they would have made Ron Paul the candidate. He has NO mistakes in his past for them to exploit, no scandals, he isn't senile like mccain, his policies and views appeal to the public (ending the war, dismanteling the IRS). Instead they chose john ***** mccain. Even if his policies were right for this country, he is such a bumbling idiot and horrible speaker that no one would take him seriously.
- btschul, on 06/05/2008, -0/+0I'm suprised that all the ignorant obama sheep haven't come back to these old ron paul articles and dugg down all the comments. weird
- ironrex, on 05/07/2008, -14/+4Have to add: It's just not worth it for the mainstay of the party to nominate this guy, even if he wins, and have him turn around so many of their current policies. Even though he's right that he represents old republican values, thats not what 90% of republican power players want right now. They'd much rather have a democrat walk into the worst 4 year setup a president has ever walked into and put up a candidate at that point. The delegates dont want to go to the convention, massively change their votes, and then explain what they did to their constituents. Its much better for them to stick to their commitments and lose, so they can be at least trusted later.
- ironrex, on 05/07/2008, -19/+8This would be great, but if this happens I will eat my shoe. The republican party is very simple and stable and straight forward, and they nominate the next guy in line. There's no way this is going to happen. This is a pipe dream, and I'm dreaming too but I'm not fooling myself.
- nomorepaul, on 05/07/2008, -25/+2buried for being stupid
What is Digg?
