- Maninthemiddle, on 10/19/2007, -2/+10What is wrong with it is the proclamation of defeat, the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy, the increased peril for our guys and gals in harms way if just one more "insurgent" joins the fray because of this tripe.
If one does not see this, I suspect it is because of lack of acumen or a desire to see the US defeated.
And whether one was for the war at the onset (I felt the timing was wrong) if one pulls for defeat as fortunes turn toward the positive, my assumption must be it is for hopes of electoral gain in 2008.
