How Can Lawyers Stand Representing Child Molesters & Murders
blog.brodenmickelsen.com — Clint's recent acquittal in child sexual assault case brings to mind the age old question of how do criminal defense lawyers stand representing child molesters, etc. I'm often asked, and I know that many people want to ask but think it impolite to do so, how can I stand to represent people who have committed horrible crimes?

A lawyer swears to an oath affirming he/she will "vigorously" represent his/her client. If an attorney did not do so, it would not only be a violation of his/her oath, it would be in violation of the defendant's constitutional rights.
