- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+43So you are claiming the liars of the Swift boat vets are being smeared?
How?
The only thing anyone says is that they are liars. They ARE. It's been proven.
Do you not recall that many members of the SBV were at a dinner honoring Kerry just before the SBV formed? They stood up and applauded him and praised him. A couple months later they had reversed their position on Kerry and were slandering him. So were they lying when they praised his courage, or are they lying now?
Either way, LIARS. - shawnfassett, on 10/12/2007, -14/+42This is all the GOP have left...lies and smears. Weren't they placed into power for something else? Oh yeah, contracts! I forgot about the contracts.
- Junkyarddawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22...and long before John O'Neill, who founded Swift Boat Vets For Bush, was hired by Rove to smear Kerry, he was hired by President Nixon to... smear Kerry, in 1971. And did a fantastic job both times.
True.
I'm guessing that if you start looking at the membership roster of the "conservative group" smearing Pelosi, you'll find not only O'Neill, but also other Swiftboatvets vets, like Kerrie Spaeth (who also worked with Starr in his partisan sham investigation of Clinton). There aren't all that many expert smearers around. - Junkyarddawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I was going to answer "Are you still pimping yourself out for crack?" but thought better of it, because experience has taught me that most diggers would not realize I was making the point that smearing someones personality, especially when it's outrageous fabrications as these guys produce in the knowledge that some of it will stick, is not a valid argument when you disagree with someone.
- Ajajadude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11You seem to be forgetting the fact that 5 Republicans went to Syria, too.
- syco123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Politics aside for a moment, Sam Fox had an amazing pair of *****.

And if you did me down you're gay.
:) - azAZ09, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8What she did progressed US foreign policy farther that four years of bombs and death. Those feeding you the talking points are full of *****.
- drafhk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6@Ajaja: That's the entire point; if a person condemns Pelosi, they should be condemning EVERYONE who did too. It's not that I'm forgetting anyone personally, I'm just using them as examples. Party and political affiliation should not be a reason why we condemn or uplift something. It should be because it's wrong or right, and party does not decide that difference.
- Ajajadude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I hope they remembered to wash the sheets.
- whofarted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Good of you to pick up on the Nixon connection.
Blame Richard Nixon. He was a paranoid bum who would stop at nothing. The Watergate break-in, a lot of Republicans said was just standard operating procedure. It wasn’t. They crossed the line. They had all sorts of campaign dirty tricks as well that probably took campaign dirty tricks to a new low. Fast forward 30+ years and it's a race to the bottom. - bsmeteronhigh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'm not surprised by any of this. It's all for show...the pretend Dems vs Repub thing. They're the same. Different day, different mascot. Good cop, bad cop. It's all b.s. to keep the masses thinking they're different. Get a clue, they're all in bed together.
- seobrains, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7swift boat vets for lies
- Zarchon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You are so going to be dug down here with an opinion like that.
- Ajajadude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3If they included the fact that the trip involved members of both parties, then yes, they could say all that without a peep from me. But, they're turning it into something it's not to support one side.
- azAZ09, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@ Ajajadude,
Not just stack the deck, but put a halt into key embarrassing investigations of the Duke Cunningham buyout, and the Ohio voter fraud in 2004. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Somewhere around her knees.
- SOULEVENT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@zuq (im not really talking to you, but certain people like you who might say something rediculous about judgement calls)
Poor judgement call? Heh, yeah, I imagie your the authority on judgement calls? Yes make her, and the five republicans PAY, pay for SPEAKING, how dare they talk, they should have been sizing up the place for bombs, or maybe planting some anthrax, so one minute, the president wants syria and iran to step up and stop people dealing weapons...but he wont talk to anyone cept to BABBLE on the news over and over...so someone tries to talk and you act like its unheard of.
As far as a peace offer, ***** it, Ill go over and make deals with everyone...simple, I say to them..."You stop ***** up, and we'll stop ***** you up with our '***** Up'." nuff said.
But no, talking intereferes with your lil bitch ass mans job of keeping the hate fueled, and acting like he doesnt have covert ***** in Iraq keeping the war going.
In short...
You have nothing to offer anyone but warmongering, and lies?
F@ck YO COUCH!!! (I kid) Im sure yo couch is nice. - drafhk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3@mightydavefish: No, that just means they're hypocrites. That has nothing to do with whether Kerry actually deserved to be spoken ill of. I would bet that they were just looking for attention wherever they could get it; sucking up to Kerry when it served them well, and telling the truth when they stood to gain more publicity.
In short, hypocrisy inherently only requires the participants be liars to themselves. - syco123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Soulevent.... You dug me down didn't you.. you know what that means
- SOULEVENT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2hey, let me ride his diggtails cuz I gotta say something.
LOOK AT THAT AD...forget the clip, just look at the screen. Its Nancy, in her Scarf, next to the Syrian Leader and the top says JOIN US. That is the most subversive, disgusting thing this administration has done yet. IF ANYONE WANTS TO COMPARE THEM TO NAZI'S NOW, YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT!!! This ad lone, should prove to EVERYONE wondering what kind of Country these freakshows are trying to create. Fear? Tell Americans they can only be patriots if they ignore the Crimes of this Corporation in the White House? And if Not, we will just say 70% of the country supports terror? What a joke people.
I'm trying to warn you peoples, these psychos have some terrible ***** up their sleeves for you all. You think they will allow themselves to be ousted and all their deeds come to the LIGHT OF TRUTH?
You think these PAID trolls on digg are bad? Just wait...what reason did you people think Fox, and "Conservative" radio has had all this time BEATING into the brains of those incapable of defending themselves, that anyone against Bush is a traitor and hates America? This has been no SMALL thing, and most of you should have woken up a long time ago, this VIDEO should leave NO doubt of the intentions of this administration.
Why the lies?
Why the terror?
Why the Money?
Why the Lives?
Why the Will, at all costs, to subvert democracy at every turn.
Im sorry for those of you who do not believe you have a soul, but I believe, if you check, the people that are committing these atrocities believe...so again, what side are they on? What purpose are they leading to?
Scared Yet? You should be.
Spirit of Truth - Ajajadude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2ummm, except that it's turning out to be more than firing a few of 'em at the wrong time: it's firing a few of them in a possible attempt to stack the deck.
- clokwise, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Somewhere just below her navel I'd guess.
- azAZ09, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2ericab007 the pro-fascist right are the experts on the non-sequitur after all...
Hold on a sec. there is a breaking story on fox "This just in ... Anna Nicole's baby Dannielynn burped ..." - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Are we talking about Samantha Fox the "singer" and model or Samantha Fox the porn star?
- Tweets, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3The Bush/Cheney regime and their flunkies are enemies to decent, rational, humane American values.
- azAZ09, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1American values is an ambiguous term.
They are enemies to human values--American or otherwise. Using the phrase American Values makes it seem like Americans have some superior value that others countries do not share, there are plenty of Non-"American" countries that believe many of the same things. We do not hold the copyright on Kindness, generosity, love of ones family, and fellow man. In fact I think those ideas have been open sourced.
--But I see where you're coming from. - azAZ09, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Those are pictures from the '80's. Where are _they_ now ?
- anctony, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Politics aside, I wonder what Nancy Pelosi's tis look like.
- Zarchon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thank you for pointing this out. I thought it was the hate filled people like you that are the enemies of decent, rational, humane American values. If someone has a different point of view then yours they are lambasted and roasted. Hardly the actions of a group trying to enlighten those who are misguided and are not as all knowing as you. Please heap more hate upon me for having this view. I am sure I deserve it.
- anagramarama, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Sam Fox is gay... "But I can't keep saying, "Maybe", or denying it. It's time to let people know where my heart is. People keep trying to say I'm a lesbian. I don't know what I am. All I know is that I'm in love with Myra [Stratton, her manager]. I love her completely and want to spend the rest of my life with her."
you're right about her assets though, all those hours learning to play poker to see her pixelated porn, not wasted! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Where are they now? Wrinkled, and at knee level probably.
- Zarchon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Soulevent is a nutcase, right?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"Politics aside, I wonder what Nancy Pelosi's tis look like."
Fried eggs nailed to wall. - zugzug01, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3It didn't look good when she went.
It looked even worse when she misunderstood, or flat out fabricated an Israeli peace offering.
To fan the fire, rumor is she's entertaining a trip to the 'fine nation' of Iran.
Enough all ready.
Nancy, 'The people' didn't appoint you to sec of state. Get back to work, do something positive with this power you've suddenly acquired as speaker.
If the fringe can't see this whole embarrassing episode needs to be addressed, apologized for, and quickly ushered off the front page, then they are only emphasizing the misstep. With all the blowing and going in politics, someone was going to politically make her and her party pay for a poor judgment call. If this or that individual is involved in calling attention to a misguided action of an elected official, then who cares. We know she went, and we know it wasn't her finest hour. To blame others for pointing it out is kinda silly. - mistarojaz, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Funder? seriously?
c'mon people what the hell... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Kind of like firing some attorney generals because, in someones head, it wasn't the right time to do it?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Those 5 aren't third in line to become the President acting like they already taken the office.
- lincr3, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3groups funding Cindy Sheehan so she can spread her message of terrorism also funded democratic presidential candidates!
OMG! - kickstar1, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2ericab007- your comment shows exactly what the left has to offer -nothing but vile and ridiculous non-sequiturs.
- nixonrichard, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3I agree. This would be news if January = April . . . now it's just a lame tidbit of trivia.
- thebaron2, on 10/12/2007, -13/+5This guy was the leader... until JANUARY.
He hasn't been involved with them for at least 3 months now. - hd95, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2Doesn't change the fact that what she did was stupid. What ever happened to the strategy of sitting back and letting W make the mistakes?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+1No. They can not voice their dissent when it's directed at the great and powerful PELOSI.
Our new (shadow) President. - drafhk, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2Lies, Deceit, Etc? Where do you get that? All you're doing is just attacking the messenger, rather than the message. It makes no sense that you're attacking his message based upon who he is. Closed-mindedness such as this is what is ruining our nation. To a republican, democrat policy = automatically bad, and vice versa. No one thinks to actually look at the message or debate it based on its own merit.
The point is this, so WHAT there's a group smearing Pelosi, and the guy who runs it happens to be a Swift Boat Veteran. You're claiming there's lies and deceit, but where do you get that? Where have they misrepresented information? I'm playing devil's advocate a little bit, but it makes you look incredibly closed-minded when you disregard information because it comes from a person you disagree with over certain things.
I'm conservative, but I find myself disagreeing with the Republican groups and politicians as much as with the Democrat. Most of the time they're both wrong. That, in and of itself, is reason enough to criticise Pelosi for whoring herself to Iran, in the same way that we should criticise McCain for his hypocracy in Baghdad. - MacGregor, on 10/12/2007, -22/+4Aren't they allowed to voice their dissent?
- appleann1, on 10/12/2007, -38/+9The group the left accuses of smearing (swift boat vets) has been the victim of ........vile smearing.
Sorry guys, your Sec of State wannabe, San Fran Nan, has received criticism (well deserved) from both sides of the aisle.

What is Digg?
