Global warming, such as it was, is over. Done with. Kaput.
globalresearch.ca — In a letter to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon 13 top scientists including one Nobel Prize winner, wrote that the UN Climate change Panel "must be called to account and cease its deceptive practices - Policies based on False science must be ended."

Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in allusion (sic) of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environment whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon, they claimed to be a consensus.”
- vexadril, on 07/22/2008, -21/+10Uh huh. That's why 2005 was the hottest year on record. Until 2006 took that title. Until 2007 took that title. And it's being reported that the north polar ice cap is going to be almost or completely gone by september of this year. Nope, the world's not heating up, it's just our imaginations.

2007 was Tenth Warmest for U.S., Fifth Warmest Worldwide
January 15, 2008
The average temperature for the contiguous U.S. in 2007 is officially the tenth warmest on record, according to data from scientists at NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C. The agency also determined the global surface temperature last year was the fifth warmest on record.- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -4/+14who do they work for? Aren't these the same scientists that SAID LIFE STARTED WITH THE SINGLE CELL and SAY WE EVOLVED FROM MONKEYS ?
The same scientists that are severely on the LATE FREIGHT and haven't even figured out how to use electricity such as the small voltage used in a common 9-volt battery, aka the Zapper to kill viruses, bacteria and candida? Hmmm...while I appreciate your efforts to vilify scientist...why don't we all calm down and accept that any given field has its good guys and bad guys. Why don't we just agree that we are all humans, and prone to all the trappings and baggage that come with such life.

- greenfyre, on 07/23/2008, -7/+7"Fact 1" Of course there has been climatic variation throughout the Earth's history. I know, the climate scientists know, it's very simple basic stuff. It's taught in bloody grade 4 for crying out loud. It's in every 'How and Why' Book that a 6 year old reads, stop pretending it's some freaking great revelation.
The scientists know about it, it is part of the science, It's accounted for in the models. They know far more about it than you or I and they are the ones saying that this is NOT part of the same patterns
There has always been variation, and all climate events have causes. Orbital variations, sun cycles, volcanoes ... there is always causes.
No one is saying those things have stopped happening. Of course they are happening. How in God's name would anthropogenic climate change stop all other climatic factors? Those variations are still happening, and anthropogenic climate change is happening as well. It is _on top of_ not instead of. No one ever claimed different, so you saying this as if they had absurd.

Dugg down for being more of the same tired ***** from the same alarmist spammer.
- greenfyre, on 07/23/2008, -2/+1It's easy to make me stop - just show how the science is wrong.
- twistaspliff, on 07/23/2008, -1/+2That's really easy. How can the earth be cooling (fact) while mankind is simultaneously causing global warming (*****)? Next time you are outside on a sunny day, have a look up at that giant orange fireball in the sky and ask yourself if there might be a chance that it is what provides warmth to our solar system. When it is in an active cycle with lots of sun spots all the planets warm up. When it isn't, they don't. Focusing on carbon (which every living thing on this planet is made from) is simply a lie, and a convenient diversion that allows big corporations to continue dumping the truly toxic ***** into our environment without anyone caring any more, because all that matters is your "carbon footprint".
Water vapour in the form of clouds is the #1 greenhouse gas accounting for about 70% of the greenhouse effect. CO2 in comparison makes up 0.03%. What's next, a war on clouds?
You can't possible be this stupid. You must be financially tied to the alarmist side of the argument to be spending all your time spamming every article that is critical of your "consensus". - greenfyre, on 07/24/2008, -1/+1I asked you to show me how the science was wrong, not flawed logic. To effectively critique the science you will have to understand it. 99% of the Denier 'logic' is the same kind of logic the proves the Sun goes around the earth.

Yes, @ the sun, and my furnace heats my house. Fortunately I also understand what insulation is, so my house is nice and toasty all winter, not like the Deniers who think the furnace is the only thing that matters and freeze their asses off and can't figure out why ... no wonder they think the earth is cooling.
Not only am I not that stupid, I am smart enough to realize the scientists know about water vapour too, after they're the ones who told you in the first place because it sure isn't something you figured out on your own - so there must be a logical answer.
