And that polar bears can actually swim for many miles -- hundreds of miles (would we really miss the scary, man-eating bastards if they were to drown?) And that the sea didn't rise up and swallow us.

    Fact: 90% of the worlds ice is there.

    Fact: a large portion of that sits on rock ridges,so when they melt they will increase sea levels.

    Fact: The writer claims that smoking is not addictive. I therefore question his ability to think rationally.

    The scientists know about it, it is part of the science, It's accounted for in the models. They know far more about it than you or I and they are the ones saying that this is NOT part of the same patterns

    There has always been variation, and all climate events have causes. Orbital variations, sun cycles, volcanoes ... there is always causes.

    No one is saying those things have stopped happening. Of course they are happening. How in God's name would anthropogenic climate change stop all other climatic factors? Those variations are still happening, and anthropogenic climate change is happening as well. It is _on top of_ not instead of. No one ever claimed different, so you saying this as if they had absurd.

Next time you are outside on a sunny day, have a look up at that giant orange fireball in the sky and ask yourself if there might be a chance that it is what provides warmth to our solar system. When it is in an active cycle with lots of sun spots all the planets warm up. When it isn't, they don't. Focusing on carbon (which every living thing on this planet is made from) is simply a lie, and a convenient diversion that allows big corporations to continue dumping the truly toxic ***** into our environment without anyone caring any more, because all that matters is your "carbon footprint".
        Water vapour in the form of clouds is the #1 greenhouse gas accounting for about 70% of the greenhouse effect. CO2 in comparison makes up 0.03%. What's next, a war on clouds?

        Yes, @ the sun, and my furnace heats my house. Fortunately I also understand what insulation is, so my house is nice and toasty all winter, not like the Deniers who think the furnace is the only thing that matters and freeze their asses off and can't figure out why ... no wonder they think the earth is cooling.

        Not only am I not that stupid, I am smart enough to realize the scientists know about water vapour too, after they're the ones who told you in the first place because it sure isn't something you figured out on your own - so there must be a logical answer.
