- shawnfassett, on 12/03/2007, -2/+26...proving that Glenn Beck NEVER tells the truth.
- laterthandawn, on 12/04/2007, -1/+12Me: Glenn Beck is a crappy shill for would-be despots and should always be assumed to be full of *****.
- Napoleone, on 12/04/2007, -1/+9It's easy to find oneself in awe of persons in positions of great power. Beck is a drone to his ideology and is easily blinded by those who reaffirm his politics and dogma. We have to stop judging people by their intentions and start judging them by the results of their actions. Bush has done nothing good.
- inactive, on 12/04/2007, -2/+9Glenn Beck is a douche, can we not rid lives of this garbage?
- floridiot2, on 12/04/2007, -0/+5Wait.. are you calling the Bush administration PROGRESS?
- hawkeye17, on 12/03/2007, -2/+7I think Beck was turned on by Bush!(pardon the pun)
- jumpyg1258, on 12/04/2007, -2/+6Beck has George Bush-like honesty.
- FongoBongo, on 12/04/2007, -0/+4I agree. The classic strategy for Glen Beck with guest he doesn't share opinions with is ridicule. You have to remember that the audience of Glen Beck are the same people who watch Jerry Springer and Court-TV drama.
- sotopheavy, on 12/04/2007, -1/+5Glen beck is a moron in most circumstances. When people are in showbiz for a while they sometimes become a shameless promoter of those that pay them. He is clearly one of those people. He will have his nose up your ass before the money you toss at him hits the floor.
- rpi22, on 12/04/2007, -1/+4Actually, i find that quote quite fitting. Abraham Lincoln was a fascist. He suspended habeas corpus and used "the State" to threaten his political opponents with indefinite imprisonment, kinda like gitmo.
Of course, this is not the side of Lincoln that the state indoctrination factories focus on. Kinda like how that scumbag Columbus was a hero for discovering something millions of people knew about before him. And then he turned them into slaves. - rpi22, on 12/04/2007, -1/+4Both Hitler and Mussolini read Lincoln's policies extensively. Hitler often spoke of his admiration for not only the ideas the man stood for, but his ability to get things done.
- tyjftnd12, on 12/04/2007, -1/+4Bush and Beck are fascist ***** who are destined to burn in hell unless they repent of their relentless evil ways.
- FongoBongo, on 12/04/2007, -2/+4Glen Beck is just a neo-con tool, taking anything he says literally is the equivalent of snorting dog ***** to get a high.
- jimbabb, on 12/04/2007, -1/+3He's working on a Lincoln-like body count.
- jmpeagle, on 12/04/2007, -2/+4Lincoln? The same guy who supported the Corwin amendment which would have made banning slavery unconstitutional?
- whatthefu, on 12/04/2007, -2/+4Well yes, since Glenn Beck never tells the truth he's clearly just saying that Bush is a liar.
- fpssledge, on 12/04/2007, -0/+2Glenn Beck, I think has some good knowledge on what the concept of gov't should be. I feel like he is the type of guy that would really support Ron Paul, but something is holding him back. Something is making him support the rest of the media sometimes and saying things like this. 5 years from now if you address this to him he might disagree with himself.
I have a theory with all these political commentators on radio shows and tv and such. The theory, is that when these commentators are expected to spout off opinions for hours and hours at a time (3 hour radio show plus 1 hour cnn show for Glenn Beck) then sooner or later some crap is going to come out. Sooner or later, you're going to say something which you didn't think was going to be comprehended the way you expected it to be.
So in all fairness, Beck isn't perfect. I don't understand why he said something like this, but maybe he really doesn't believe it, maybe he does. Like I said, I just think that with all the things political commentators say, there's bound to be SOMETHING which someone doesn't agree with. This is just what comes with that line of work.
I also think he has compassion for Ron Paul and what he's all about. I think he WANTS to support him, but just doesn't have the guts. I think he's embarrassed to openly support the man. - masterm1nd, on 12/04/2007, -1/+3Uhh, Glen Beck is CNN's token...
- inactive, on 12/04/2007, -0/+2It's really quite simple, just get people to stop watching.
- Berkana, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1I'm not for burying those who disagree in honesty. I'm for taking air time away from outright liars.
I'm not a liberal. I'm a Ron-Paul brand conservative, not a neocon. - Berkana, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1I urge all of you to go to CNN.com and give them feedback on this. This is unacceptable on a news channel. Don't let CNN descend into Fox-like reichwing bias. Glenn Beck is not good for America, and they have better things they can do with their airtime than to let Beck spew his lies.
http://www.cnn.com/feedback/cnntv/ - Jb611, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1That was the dumbest comment I've ever seen.
- Anub1s, on 12/04/2007, -1/+2Bush is honest, right, and million dollar bills fly out of my ass every time I fart.
- wramos, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1O really, and you are going to tell me that the NEO-LIBS arnt racisists. Give me a break. Conservatives are for people with talent reguardless of their background. The NEO-LIBS like to devide. You are very ignorant.
- crichton101, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1so lying about evidence so you can go to war is less bad then lying about getting a blowjob?
- inactive, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1I have heard this nonsense before from other neocon tools. There is this idea that plays to the brainless wing of the Republican party that Bush has to say dumb stuff and sacrifices his reputation by not telling all the really wild super secret decoder ring stuff that he knows because the secrets that he knows are tooooooo important for him to divulge even a hint of what he really knows......
But, he doesn't know jack *****!
He's been wrong about everything that he has ever said about Iraq. He has done everything wrong that he could do. What is the super secret Glen? Why is it so critical that it remains secret? Would divulging the secret result in people dying? Well, there are already enough dead people in Iraq that if you laid them down head to foot you could cross the country with corpses, so I truly doubt that the reticence to come forth with the secret is in response to a humanitarian desire to save lives.
So what's the secret Glen, are there Martians controlling Ahmedinejad? - masterm1nd, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1No, but that's likely why they chose him specifically.
- wramos, on 12/04/2007, -2/+2Yes I believe Bush is honest as compared to the previous president who out and out lied to everone in the US. Remember Clinton?
- TheSkunkMonkey, on 12/04/2007, -2/+2Wha wha what? Comparing Bush and Lincoln? Must be tough for Glen to sit these days with all that junk up his trunk.
http://www.stupidprize.com/?name=Glenn+Beck - jimbabb, on 12/04/2007, -1/+1Please let his advertisers know why you are boycotting them.
- masterm1nd, on 12/04/2007, -1/+1Sorry artemus, I buried you by accident.
- artemus, on 12/04/2007, -2/+2alcoholic?
- wramos, on 12/04/2007, -1/+1Compared to what may have been with Kerry or Gore you are godamn right. Look at the Market made newer highs. Why because when people have more money in their pocket they tend to invest.
- wramos, on 12/04/2007, -4/+1Yes Comrade, lets bury anyone who disagrees with you. I saw a web site that said fix weak liberalism with strong communism, you may like that site better.
- wramos, on 12/04/2007, -8/+1Also for you idiot Liberals, which i am sure to get your undivided attention. We Conservatives enjoy progress, and you NEO-LIBS dont own the word. Now for you conspiracy idiots, who the hell owns thinkprogress.org? I smell a conspiracy there dont you?
