  • ranroc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a wonder why most Americans don't understand this concept, or that "universal" insurance is more harmful universally than it is helpful for individuals. I work in the health care industry, and true costs are much lower than insulated costs paid for by insurance. Imagine how costs would drop and competition would increase if we were obligated to pay for all our costs on our own! I really don't understand why people don't get this.
