- counterspin, on 12/16/2008, -0/+9ho! Ho! HO! Right on Robert Greenwald & the folks @ Brave New Films. Couldn't have satirized it better myself! Pssst! DO SOMETHING!
- jwaf, on 12/16/2008, -0/+9I just can't laugh at this. It is going to be very difficult to undo the damage this ***** has done to our country.
- jkrowland, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7I hope the "shoe" idea gets some traction! I would love to participate in at least a "virtual shoe throwing" or the real thing!
- brisketkid, on 12/16/2008, -0/+3Good video, just bittersweet.
- ericforat, on 12/16/2008, -0/+3The courageous journalist who threw the shoes is now the new hero of the Arab people. Maybe someone in the White House press contingent would like to make himself a household name here...
- minorgods, on 12/17/2008, -0/+2ascii stupid question...
- BoulderSue, on 12/16/2008, -0/+2Shoe thowing at an effigy would be a wonderful addition to any New Year's Eve Party! Or Inauguration Eve Party! Lets save Inauguration Day for pure gladness and some prayers! I wouldn't mind doing the real thing either, to be frank, but I, for one, am looking forward to a lawful Presidency, so I would forego it even if given the chance. That would be an even better slap in the face to this administration. Cheney apparently has told Rush that Barack and Joe are going to appreciate all the powers he, Bush and others have garnered for the White House. Let's let those guys know that we believe in rule by law, the force of the Constitution and international law. That is the best "revenge"!
- Murse, on 12/17/2008, -0/+2First I thought he was a bad leader, then I just thought he was an idiot; now it seems like he's down right malicious. Who is this man and how is he allowed to lead a friggin' country?
- fen1947, on 12/17/2008, -0/+2I hope there is enough pressure to stop this madness. Bush has to be the worst president this country has had. He is continuing to do what he has done over the past eight years, screw the little guy to pay big business.
- Valyn, on 12/16/2008, -3/+4Horrible 'Bush' impersonation, but a good message nevertheless.
- diggnixon, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1Here's hoping that next year's Christmas greeting comes not from the White House but from the big house.
- stufl, on 12/16/2008, -1/+2Do something! What??
I understand it will take time and effort for Obama to reverse what Bush has done. - gadfli1501, on 12/17/2008, -0/+1What saddens me the most is that this person is shaping the new "new" right. Through his ignrance, apathy and willful compliance, he is single-handedly (although Democrats never showed much backbone) demonstrating to the republicans that thier "outsider" interference can help to obstruct the new cooperative-initiative of Barack Obama's administration. we're seeing it now with the auto-initiative and the witch-hurt trying to connect President-elect Obama, with that clown in Illinios. The honymoon will be short, dress warm and be prepared to shoot back.
- Zeitgeist101, on 12/17/2008, -0/+1you are a better person than I...I don't think that I could resist if given a clear shot with a nice solid shoe....sorry
- counterspin, on 12/19/2008, -0/+1Anything positive, one supposes.
- mpastrana, on 12/16/2008, -0/+1I ... uhh. ITS A TRAP. (ascii please)
- Zeitgeist101, on 12/17/2008, -0/+1He is the puppet figurehead grandson of Prescott Bush, a Nazi sympathizer and supporter.
- sustaineaerth, on 12/20/2008, -0/+0Too bad not enough people are pointing out that the Bush family will still be working behind the scenes. They've been running this sheit since the 70s (at least!): Bush Sr.-head of CIA (70s), Bush Sr. -"V.P." for Alzheimer actor Reagan (80s), Bush Sr. - Pres. late 80s early 90s, back to the shadows late nineties (still ran shiet under Clinton cause they ran the military for so long), stole elections 2000 and duped the country 2004. You think they are just going to go away 2008. It might not be as obvious but it actually is if you research, they got friends in high places: wall street, oil, military, kbr, boeing, blackwater, etc...
Obama has to negotiate with this menace or they'll take him out with the quickness. They will use Obama unless they feel their power slipping away... be aware.
At least now a lot of sheep that followed those guys have woken up and are not taking their orders blindly anymore.
I hope we can restore decency. - shambalawarrior, on 12/17/2008, -0/+0Will someone throw a shoe at this man...
