- zombies187, on 06/19/2008, -40/+6I find it amazing that people want the floods in Iowa to mean that New Orleans is beneath help. Why do Americans hate people who need help?
- d3lta, on 06/20/2008, -3/+23I find it amazing that some people try to turn everything into anti-American propaganda.
- DforSpiD, on 06/20/2008, -5/+3Yeah... I bet it's those ***** Americans... oh wait, I'm sorry...
- zombies187, on 06/20/2008, -2/+3I agree, people that hate on New Orleans should be considered anti-American.
- Conwaysb0718, on 06/20/2008, -1/+6What the ***** are you talking about? How the hell could you possibly get that warped view from a bit about how the president has given a lackluster response to natural disasters and turn it into a people "feel New Orleans is beneath help" thing?
- zombies187, on 06/20/2008, -4/+2I didn't get that from the bit, I got it from being in Katrina and seeing how America treats people who NEED. Its not just the president. Its America. the conventional wisdom is that New Orleans should never have been, we shouldn't rebuild it, people got what they deserved, ect. Since this problem in Iowa started, I've seen pages and pages of claims that Iowa is worse off than New Orleans, and then congratulations all around for not acting like New Orleans. Sorry to break it to you, but most Americans will be happy when the city falls in the ocean. People here look down on those that need help. Why don't you help yourself, they ask. Well don't help. Just stay out of our way and don't pretend there is any way to compare these two issues. Every comment page on this topic has people claiming that its race that causes this. It pisses me off. I will never forgive America for how it FEELS about Katrina.
- Conwaysb0718, on 06/20/2008, -2/+5I think youve let the sensationalism of the MSM get to you.
- zombies187, on 06/20/2008, -3/+2No, its you who has let the sensationalism get to you. You see some people who appear not to be able to help themselves and then judge all who were effected by Katrina as the same.
- pitlord, on 06/21/2008, -1/+1If anyone doubted that John "Stewart" is irrelevant, he just stepped in a big pile of irrelevance with this non-story.
(8^D
LOL @ all the libtards with nothing better to do than watch yet another moronic Bush roast by Johnny boy. - pitlord, on 06/21/2008, -1/+1The guy didn't say "white" people he said "Wyatt" people.
(X^P
Don't you people pay attention?
>.>
LOL, get it? The guy's name was "Wyatt…" He said, "George Bush doesn't care about "Wyatt" people… But "Wyatt" is black… You get it? It's funny, see?
o.O
The black guy's name is "Wyatt," get it? "George Bush doesn't care about Wyatt people." Do ya get it, huh? Pretty darn funny, eh? Yeah, knee-slapper, I think. Yup, comedy, friggin gold – yessir. A real funny one.
- d3lta, on 06/20/2008, -3/+23I find it amazing that some people try to turn everything into anti-American propaganda.
- elemming, on 06/19/2008, -5/+234George Bush doesn't care about wet people.
- bjenidles, on 06/19/2008, -8/+25Jon Stewart doesn't care about Wyatt people.
- sandersdamnit, on 06/19/2008, -4/+24Wait, George Bush doesn't care about what people?
- atavena, on 06/19/2008, -15/+6We are not starting this rhyming sh*t.
- acex23, on 06/20/2008, -1/+17no, not a bit.
- apothekari, on 06/20/2008, -1/+16NO more rhymes now, I mean it!

- feoren, on 06/20/2008, -1/+9I can't eat a fetus, I have diabeetus!
- CorpT, on 06/20/2008, -0/+6Anybody want a peanut?
- verdouxkai, on 06/20/2008, -0/+4hostility leaves no room for tranquility.
- bjenidles, on 06/19/2008, -5/+44We should probably just leave it at, "George Bush doesn't care about people."
- staticfire, on 06/20/2008, -5/+5surprised? since when have any politicians?
- Spyke72, on 06/20/2008, -1/+8I believe the most accurate statement is:
"George Bush doesn't care." - MacSuxWindozSux, on 06/20/2008, -1/+9"George Bush" nuff said.
- fatrandy13, on 06/20/2008, -1/+7"George"
- polalion, on 06/20/2008, -1/+8"G"
- Myonosken, on 06/20/2008, -5/+3Running it in to the ground as thus.
- elhaf, on 06/20/2008, -0/+7""
- AModlin, on 06/20/2008, -0/+7Null pointer exception.
- Wyattx17, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3Jon Stewart Doesn't care about Wyatt people. I can confirm this.
- atavena, on 06/19/2008, -15/+6We are not starting this rhyming sh*t.
- ThePenrod, on 06/20/2008, -3/+18Quite possibly the most accurate view on the situation, considering the National Guard is hanging out in the desert.
- csw1342, on 06/20/2008, -1/+10Is that irony? The people who should be around to help when it floods are out in the middle of a damn desert while their friends and family are floating down a damn river.
- msk275, on 06/20/2008, -7/+8Geroge Bush doesn't care about wet backs.
- stilesja, on 06/20/2008, -0/+6Unicorns. Bush loves unicorns, and during this administration it has been the best time to be a unicorn, than under any previous president since Zachary Taylor.
- jphillips1, on 06/20/2008, -1/+4George Bush doesn't care about black puppets.
- bingostud722, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3George Bush can do 20 push ups in a minute
- raysaagar, on 06/19/2008, -23/+53Bush doesn't seem to care about the US...or Iraq... or the rest of the world for that matter. It's all about himself and his little "white" lies...
- JimmySpaza, on 06/20/2008, -16/+9Yeah, yeah. You and those who think like you are the only people in the universe who care about others. [rolls eyes]
Look, you may not agree with ANYTHING that Bush does. I'm right there with you. But, saying that Bush only cares about himself is so intellectual arrogant of you that one wonders if you yourself tend to look down on those with whom you disagree.- raysaagar, on 06/20/2008, -1/+3one can't wonder about other people on the internet....
- GRTWHT, on 06/20/2008, -5/+3Of course he cares about other people - lobbyists and fellow politicians are people....sorta.
- Pstmann, on 06/20/2008, -2/+1Yes, but you don't sound outraged if you take the high road.
- trekie1701, on 06/20/2008, -8/+4If you have seen any media you would have known that Bush was in Europe when the flood hit he's there now touring.
- Pillage, on 06/20/2008, -3/+9oh "white" lies, you got to bring race into this don't you?
- WhiteRaven, on 06/20/2008, -5/+9Or maybe.... just maybe... you people have an unreasonable expectation of how much the federal government or the president can or should do about these things.
- csw1342, on 06/20/2008, -2/+6So America can overthrow dictators but we can't help people protect their homes from floods or at the least help them get out of the way? Maybe a surge in sandbagging . . .
- WhiteRaven, on 06/21/2008, -1/+1Actually, yes. Foreign relations and military matters are the purview of the federal government. A persona' flooded home or business is not.
Sorry to impose reason and the constitution on your idyllic little world...
- WhiteRaven, on 06/21/2008, -1/+1Actually, yes. Foreign relations and military matters are the purview of the federal government. A persona' flooded home or business is not.
- GRTWHT, on 06/20/2008, -1/+6Damn, I agree with both WhiteRaven and csw1342!
People here in the US that need help should be our first priority, but let's get real: when I see an interview with someone that says they've been flooded out for the 7th time and they expect the US government to pay them....well, that's just stupid.
Help the ones that need it because of an UNEXPECTED natural disaster, but for those that knew what they were doing when they built where it floods EVERY YEAR - well, that's their problem.
OK, now you can bury me for being a cold, uncaring bastard.- 98psuAE, on 06/20/2008, -1/+5You realize most of the state of Iowa is been declared a state of emergency. I doubt the whole state is considered a flood plain.
- Flipdawg27, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Agreed. And maybe... just maybe... no one realizes there's a system in place that requires certain actions from the state(s) before the federal gov't can step in - even if it should/needs to. Believe it or not, there was a time when it was common for people to want a majority of power to lie with the states, and not centralized in the federal gov't.
- kingjam, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I wish some of you would take the time to look at the big picture of what has happened to the world we live in and how 99% of it has nothing todo with one man (Bush). Times are changing. The world is a very complicated place
- csw1342, on 06/20/2008, -2/+6So America can overthrow dictators but we can't help people protect their homes from floods or at the least help them get out of the way? Maybe a surge in sandbagging . . .
- dafragsta, on 06/20/2008, -0/+4Does he have to?
America people don't care about disciplining dishonest people who forcibly take money from their paychecks and then print up some more money without their approval and basically OWN them while throwing them in jail for their vices. YAY America. I'm rushing out to buy another flag right now!
While we are at it, America doesn't care about anything that takes them away from their vices, whether it's consumerism, drugs, or entertainment.- elhaf, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3or the internet
- dafragsta, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I think the internet swings both ways. If it weren't for the internet, nobody would know about the misdeeds of a lot of politicians and government officials.
- elhaf, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3or the internet
- JimmySpaza, on 06/20/2008, -16/+9Yeah, yeah. You and those who think like you are the only people in the universe who care about others. [rolls eyes]
- thepoliticalcat, on 06/19/2008, -21/+59Georgee doesn't care about anybody or anything except his own precious self.
- WhiteRaven, on 06/20/2008, -12/+3You can do one of two things... either present evidence that what you just said is true or present us evidence that *you* care any more.
You arrogant, self-serving twit. You blind hatred tells us a lot more about you than it does George Bush. - fatrandy13, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3so he's exactly like every other person in this world... interesting...
- monoa, on 06/20/2008, -1/+2Yup, he's a sociopath. See if you can recognise Dubya from this list:
http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html - Jareth86, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Would you say he's the Gaius Baltar of presidents?
- jazzmann04, on 06/20/2008, -1/+1Now that is just not true! George Bush doesn't care only about himself, he's also concerned about Haliburton
- Snokage, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1last time i checked, why should he care, no oil = no care
- WhiteRaven, on 06/20/2008, -12/+3You can do one of two things... either present evidence that what you just said is true or present us evidence that *you* care any more.
- tehbored, on 06/20/2008, -8/+114You're not a racist if you hate everyone equally.
- monoa, on 06/20/2008, -4/+5He doesn't actively hate everyone, he's a sociopath - he doesn't care. He has no empathy. remorse or shame. The world exists to serve G.W.'s needs.
http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html
"...trying to strengthen his case against Saddam, Bush's script called for him to say, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." But the words that came out of his mouth were, ""Fool me once, shame . . . shame on . . . you," followed by a long pause, then, "Fool me — can't get fooled again!"
Said Miller, "What's revealing about this is that Bush could not say, 'Shame on me' to save his life. That's a completely alien idea to him. This is a guy who is absolutely proud of his own inflexibility and rectitude."

- NightVortez, on 06/20/2008, -3/+5For gas money?
- solid12345, on 06/20/2008, -0/+8Hell no, he is going to spend it on what every working class American will spend their rebate on, a new TV.
- fatrandy13, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3i used mine for a ps3, and had a little left over too
- Elranzer, on 06/20/2008, -1/+3You should exactly what the government DOESN'T want you to do with that stimulus check... put it in a high-interest savings account.
- spoonchucks, on 06/20/2008, -0/+4After watching my interest rate drop (over the course of 2 freakin months) from 5.0% APY to 2.93%, I'm not as hot on throwing money in savings as I used to be.
If we're on the Titanic, I figure ***** it, might as well have a martini while they ready the lifeboats.

- monoa, on 06/20/2008, -1/+5i love sentences without punctuation is it wrong
- thecatcantalk, on 06/20/2008, -1/+4Yeah, but did you swallow?
- bcamp1973, on 06/20/2008, -1/+5he sent my wife and I a $1,200 check...and we'd both love to douse it in $4 a gallon gas, set fire to it and shove it up his ass...
- FishHammer, on 06/20/2008, -1/+2oh I'm sure that's exactly what you'd do if you weren't completely full of *****
- DuneChild, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0He said they'd love to, but hey, it's $1200, plus the cost of the gas!
- FishHammer, on 06/20/2008, -1/+2oh I'm sure that's exactly what you'd do if you weren't completely full of *****
- spoonchucks, on 06/20/2008, -0/+17If by getting 300 dollars you mean having a 300 loan taken out for you from china...
- normalkid0615, on 06/20/2008, -7/+1***** you all
- agenthamsta, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1i got 600 and lord knows how much I have to pay back in taxes every year..was a lose lose situation for me.
- NightVortez, on 06/20/2008, -3/+5For gas money?
- rasbill, on 06/20/2008, -8/+1i dugg this for the other clip soo funny
- dtd00d, on 06/20/2008, -2/+17So if we sent help to Iowa, wouldn't that be worse because we treated them differently from Katrina victims?
- thepatster, on 06/20/2008, -3/+7Aren't they worried that the flooding will go down to New Orleans if these other levees hold up?? And didn't people partially cause this flooding by reducing floodplains and stuff, I was watching something on TV or in the Washington Post, where the guy said they erased wetlands and put houses in, and stuff like that.
- zombies187, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2We are getting ready for Iowas floodwater right now.
- pitlord, on 06/21/2008, -0/+1Al Gore said all the water was gonna dry up so it was supposed to be safe to build there!

- Shogi, on 06/20/2008, -9/+23George Bush won't care about people until oil runs through our veins and there is a profitable business plan for sucking us dry.
- bosssmiley, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I would link to the appropriate TKD comic, but (strangely) the work firewall blocks my search attempts for the string "Bush Cheney oily robot blowjob".
- phildixon, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0Actually, there us a pretty solid business plan to "sucking us dry". It has been in use since the beginning of time by members of the oldest profession and in no way involves George Bush.
- ethanrhunt, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1We are almost there!

- pauls88, on 06/20/2008, -11/+9he doesnt care about white people, he doesnt care about black people, he doesnt care about asian people, he doesnt care about anyone.
edit: well... himself maybe - XternalHD, on 06/20/2008, -10/+22George Bush doesn't care about anyone.
- 55mph, on 06/20/2008, -3/+9dugg for the title. "Wyatt Cenac channels Kanye West." Kanye West has more attitude than a city block in Harlem.
- csw1342, on 06/20/2008, -1/+1For a brat,

- csw1342, on 06/20/2008, -1/+1For a brat,
- ericdano, on 06/20/2008, -5/+8Um, it really wasn't that funny. Colbert's Cookie Monster thing was funnier......
- SuminderJi, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2The Steve Carrell thing was funnier.
- dubbs688, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3Maybe it was not meant to be funny in a HA HA way, but a funny in that how the media said the helping New Orleans in Katrina was a race issue. It just shows that it was not a race issue. It was made to open your eyes and not just coming out and saying it.
- Venge999, on 06/20/2008, -10/+5Remember when George Bush didn't care about black people?
- sfacets, on 06/20/2008, -1/+22At least he still cares about Yellow people.
- andregriffin, on 06/20/2008, -9/+0I actually read that as "George Bluth" for the first time just now...
- Weejay, on 06/20/2008, -9/+8George Bush doesn't care.
- brstilson, on 06/20/2008, -10/+8George Bush doesn't care about poor people.
- orangester, on 06/20/2008, -5/+20We don't beg and complain about needing aid, so it's not that big of a deal if the government doesn't send any help. Here in Iowa, we help each other out during times of crisis and need because we know the other person would do the same for us. We're strong, self reliant, and I'll be damned if I beg for help from George Bush.
- charm803, on 06/20/2008, -0/+7Yeah, I mean, if I was stuck on a roof, I too, would say "screw it!"
Some people don't have the same opportunities as you and your community, but I agree that we should be somewhat prepared in thinking that we should not rely on Bush and his croonies. - Jbone1986, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Thinking you are entitled to government help has nothing to do with opportunities. Thank you orangester for telling it how it is. Being able to help with the relief effort has nothing to do with the opportunities you have had. Its about a sense of responsibility to your community and country. Here in the Midwest, we can take care of ourselves without pissing and moaning about how the government needs to fix everything.
- charm803, on 06/20/2008, -0/+7Yeah, I mean, if I was stuck on a roof, I too, would say "screw it!"
- TheKoopaBros, on 06/20/2008, -6/+12George bush just doesn't care about people, period.

Yea...New Orleans didn't get this MEMO because none of their fax machines worked, so they decided pillaging was the way to go. - CCoe, on 06/20/2008, -0/+20The Daily Show doesn't care about Canadian people.

- GRTWHT, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2You forgot their lobbyists and other politiicans (partners in crime).
- Pillage, on 06/20/2008, -2/+33Wait why isn't anyone shooting at helicopters, or looting, or spending relief money on alcohol and strippers? People in Iowa don't know how to handle a natural disaster at all.
- solid12345, on 06/20/2008, -7/+12Bleh, at what point is it the government's fault for not stepping in and do something
If freak storms flooded my house but it was only my house and not a wide-area disaster should I be expecting aid?
We had a bad ice storm in Oklahoma that knocked out power to millions, many for 1-2 weeks straight and knocked down , did we cry and bitch to Uncle Sam to save us, or did we bite the bullet and fork over 1,000 dollars for a generator and gather up all the downed trees ourselves.
***** happens and sometimes you have to take care of yourself - DAC1138, on 06/20/2008, -4/+13Does George Bush care about anyone?

Since we're passing judgement on people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_calling- WhiteRaven, on 06/21/2008, -2/+1I'm passing judgment based on what people have themselves said. At what point has Bush voiced the level of hatred that is commonly voiced against him?

- WhiteRaven, on 06/20/2008, -12/+2God, would you people just get a life??? Don't you have anything better to do than criticizing someone for doing *exactly what any other person would do in their place*. What the hell do you expect from a president? What *could* he possibly be doing that would actually make a difference?
- Itkovian, on 06/20/2008, -2/+2Nothing, since he's George Bush.
- RIdennis, on 06/20/2008, -10/+4George Bush is a ***** *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- ScottoGato, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Digging you down because your grammar is accurate, it's straight to the point, and there are too many exclamation points.
In the future, please consider changing one of the above faults to get your comment dug.
- ScottoGato, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Digging you down because your grammar is accurate, it's straight to the point, and there are too many exclamation points.
- Sillywombat, on 06/20/2008, -4/+7Its not that he doesnt care about white people, its just he doesnt give a ***** about anyone.
- jamdogg, on 06/20/2008, -1/+2Thanks for the reminder because only 20 people so far have said the same thing.
- QsheiK, on 06/20/2008, -4/+5Don't be mean people. George Bush is very selfless.... I mean....he did give up golfing for the troops....right? Right??
- rebotfc, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2wrong
- xodex, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1The troops were hired to do a job that they signed up for, no one forced them to sign up for the military.
- kittnerrules, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Here's the obligatory: "I see what you did there."
- Risingashes, on 06/20/2008, -2/+4The new guy is horrible. Hopefully they get rid of him soon and get someone who is funny.
- PDF84, on 06/20/2008, -1/+2They are So rich......and so white.....
- bradthomas223, on 06/20/2008, -1/+12All I can think of is OMG those poor people. Don't they realize they are missing a great chance to loot, pillage and plunder. And I would like to know how they even knew about the rain and flooding to began to prepare their towns with sandbags. Don't they realize they are not suppose to prepare but instead sit on the top of their houses like a bunch of farm animals and wait to be rescued. And then when the rescue chopper flies over and doesn't pick you up immediately you have to shoot at them in anger because you had to wait. Or not just rescue choppers, heck shoot at all the people who are trying to help you. These people have a lot to learn about flooding and natural disasters.
Its almost as if they watched the weather reports knew this was a possibility and prepared accordingly and didn't wait on their buts for the govt. to come rescue them. Damn Honkies!- CHANNELOCK, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1That's funny....liked the farm animal on houses the most
- dzw120, on 06/20/2008, -2/+3Except that they can't loot, pillage, or plunder because they're not black. White people "find".

- frosted, on 06/20/2008, -7/+1George Bush doesn't care about people.
George Bush only cares about oil and his personal money. - then00b, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2The second clip (with Steve Carell) should have been Dugg up instead. Man those two together equals hilarity.
- ProUSADigger, on 06/20/2008, -9/+2In a strange way, I almost hope that Hussein Obama becomes President. Because, when something similar occurs, and the situation is handled in an identical manner it will be interesting to see how our nation's liberal idiots will react. I just love to watch liberal hypocrisy.
- trer, on 06/20/2008, -1/+9And this is why we fail. Because we spend more time trying to find hypocrisy instead of finding solutions. Similar to the mentality of young children.
- DuneChild, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1So, you're looking forward to the next disaster? Way to be pro-USA! Oh, and bonus points for trying to make Obama look like a jihadist. It's not like President Bush started a new crusade in the Middle East or anything.
- RonBurgundy76, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Buried for 'Hannitized' douche-baggery of the worst sort.
@DuneChild: Of course he's looking forward to the next disaster! All true neocon wackjobs look forward to another tragedy/attack/whatever. It makes them feel patriotic and gives them a reason to kill brown people in the desert. It makes a few of them obscenely wealthy, too.
- bshock, on 06/20/2008, -7/+2Let's get it right: George W. Bush doesn't care about anyone worth less than $100 million.
- jobo5432, on 06/20/2008, -6/+4You guys realize that "The Daily Show" - while gospel to some - is just really a pharce, right? It's not a news organization. You do know that, don't you?
Bush cared enough about white people, black people, yellow people, red people, etc... enough to take the fight from your front door to theirs. I served in Afghanistan, and I went willingly, something I probably wouldn't have done so willingly on the orders of Bubba.
And when the local government rejects federal aid, you really can't blame the federal government.- xceptionaly, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2And surely you realize that the reason The Daily Show is "gospel to some" is because even as a comedic news parody, it's still more informative and relevant than actually news on TV?
- pitlord, on 06/21/2008, -0/+1Jobo, I just wanted to reply and say thank you for serving. My wife and I are raising 4 great kids thanks to you and your brothers in arms.

- bingostud722, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Look for an absolutely horrible movie in The Love Guru
- Sairynn, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I won't have to look.
- bingostud722, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Look for an absolutely horrible movie in The Love Guru
- perot9296, on 06/20/2008, -2/+2That should be changed to:
George Bush Doesn't Care About Poor or Middle Class White People
If you're rich (billionaire), he'll take care of you, provided you donate to the GOP. - Flipperbw, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3But does he care about Single people from Murray?
