- jurnei, on 01/07/2008, -2/+12I previously wrote about this - Rudy Giuliani is the worst American Terrorist. just listen to him!
- anderzole, on 01/07/2008, -0/+9I think its more along the lines of "If you don't vote for x, there will be an attack on America", not necessarily an attack on you. But I always found it interesting that the very people who are prone to fall for this type of campaigning are located in parts of the country that are pretty far removed from your typical terrorist target locations.
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -2/+11Why do we accept terrorism from our own candidate's campaign? It is clear that these politicians are implying that "if you don't vote for X" you will die. If you vote for Democrats, expect another attack. If you love your children, vote for 'our' candidate that'll surely crush the vile terrorists. The propaganda is disturbing and they do it and get away with it because they can and we let them.
- Terr01, on 01/07/2008, -1/+4Could have to do with the correlation between Democrats and urban areas, whereas Republicans tend toward the more rural zones.
- Terr01, on 01/07/2008, -1/+4Did Democrats every imply that the voter (or non-voter) would die violently?
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -0/+3Let's say for a second that you're right that Democrats used fear tactics to get 'social policy' through in Washington. Does that make it OK for Republicans to do it to get 'foreign policy' through? I don't agree that making an argument on behalf of children vs. corporate interests is the same thing, but I do agree that manipulation and rhetoric has been a problem on both sides. Where do you draw the line?
It's my opinion that our candidates have crossed the line on ethics and morality on this issue of employing terror to secure votes and achieve political goals. - DeviantDragon, on 01/08/2008, -2/+5And Apple utilizes fear-mongering when it implies that unless you go Mac you WILL GET A VIRUS.
- fractalman, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3No, Bush and Cheney are, they are in power, Rudy is just hoping for his chance to out do them.
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2Seriously, does no one see anything wrong with this use of terrorism? Look up the definition of terrorism and tell me that the campaigns aren't participating.
- jurnei, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2Just listen to Giuliani's Lincoln Hall speech, he's so obnoxious with his democrats will put you on the "defense" - what a creep! He scary!
- gropo, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2Irony: SerialDiggTroll questioning someone's intelligence.
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1f'n fear-monger!
- rnwen2750, on 01/08/2008, -2/+2I can tell you that I've had more problems with my iPods and other Apple items than I ever have had with all of my Microsoft products put together.
- brycelb, on 01/08/2008, -2/+2That's a bald faced lie!
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -6/+4*****.
Only a ***** who cheers for the corruption of the GOP could POSSIBLY call the privatization plans a "fix". It fixed nothing, and helped wealthy people avoid taxes. Too bad you didn't pay attention. Or maybe you didn't give a ***** about the people who need SS.
Only a TOTAL ***** thinks shutting down spending on education is a "fix".
Man, you are BEYOND *****.
You're as dumb as Cheney.
Ah, I see.
Now it makes sense.
You are one of the rightard jackass brigade. You need a new digg account because you are such a ***** your other one got banned. Am I right?
Gee, what a surprise.
Congrats on being a warmongering coward. - inactive, on 01/08/2008, -3/+1Amen to that. Well said sir.
