Friedman Claims Liberals Believe Arabs Are ‘Incapable Of Democracy'

thinkprogress.org — [AUDIO] On NPR yesterday, NYT columnist Tom Friedman - one of the Iraq invasion's most vocal supports - defended his support of the war and sarcastically said that next time, he’ll “be a better liberal” and “will view the prospect of Arabs forging a democracy as utterly impossible. They’re incapable of democracy.”
