Now, I know Rupert is into yellow journalism, but even that has be slightly connected to reality and the cognative collective of their viewers. - dustedbunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think they've got their beloved slogan of "Fair and Balanced" twisted.
- AjayKalra, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2For these idiots an attack on US would be a positive story. Right Wingers: pro party and totally anti americans. They have no sense of right and wrong.
- deanmeek, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Gibson is not "wishing" that the N. Korean nuke test balances out the over coverage of the Foley story, he is just asking his guest to make an opinion as to the effect of the test. No one can deny that the press is covering the Foley story more than the average person wants. They do this with any story that has legs. What else do you cover when you have 24 hour news coverage now? Soon enough both these stories will fall out of the limelight to be replaced by the next "big" story.
