Fordham Prof: Rev. Wright's Statements Make Sense in Context
paullevinson.blogspot.com — the media play snippets of sermons ... when you hear Rev. Wright speaking in entirety, it's clear that he's "damning not America but those things that America did ... enslavement and auctioning of blacks, our enforcement of their poverty, poor education, second-class citizenship even after they were finally freed during the Civil War ..."

- DeathWish808, on 04/28/2008, -6/+2Rev. Wright is just as racist as any KKK member. He's living in his own world, brainwashing other ignorant people. Not to say that some of the things he says don't have validity, but it's easier to brainwash people when you mix in facts. Ehhh, whatever. Tired of hearing about this stupid *****. :-)
- thirdcoastborn, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1don't give an opinion unless you sit down and actually listen to the whole message. you will easily see how it was taken out of context.
MSNBC is talking about rev. wright all day, 50 minutes out of every hour.- marabout40, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1Thirdcoastborn, I think we can only effect change if we send a clear message to corporate media networks like MSNBC, CNN, Fox News etc. That message should be, we will not buy into your manipulation of the truth, we will not buy into the hype and the spin. We will not put money in your pockets by continuing to watch your biased so-called news. We can only effect change if we stop giving them a platform and that means we turn them off. We need to take back control of the way information is disseminated to the public. Let's use digg as one of those tools to take back control. Digg this up and get your friends to digg up too. Thanks!
