Dear Massachusetts Voters: Please Replace John Kerry
petition.jeffbeatty.com — For 24 years, John Kerry has enjoyed the status of being your junior senator. This elite millionaire has a history of supporting higher taxes for the middle and working classes. Every American is hurt by Kerry's time in the senate, but only you, the citizens of Massachusetts, can vote him out. So this November, we are asking you to do just that.

- morningmatters, on 07/16/2008, -16/+19I don't like Kerry much but Romney pretty much destroyed any chances of Republicans becoming popular in MA in the near future.
- fatrandy13, on 07/17/2008, -4/+13umm, how exactly?? that man was a god amongst men for MA residents... not really sure what part of MA you're from.. All i remember is all the tax cuts he provided, and oh yea, turning our multi billion dollar deficit into a ***** surplus...
and to all you idiots who dugg him up because romney is a republican... stop pretending to be interested in politics...- reaper527, on 07/17/2008, -1/+4i agree. its just to bad we replaced romney with an obama-like candidate in deval patrick. i guess if patrick's slogan was a complete thought, and it was "together we can raise taxes", instead of "together we can", he wouldn't have gotten elected.
i wasn't old enough to vote for romney as a governor a few years back, but more recently, he had my vote on super tuesday for president.

- HuskyPuzzle, on 07/16/2008, -15/+8Another thing to note is that he's a huge douche.
- ordig, on 07/17/2008, -12/+16"don't swiftboat me bro"
- jiqiren, on 07/17/2008, -9/+11What the hell? "Sign the Petition Now!", 3 signatures so far... but 99 diggs?
- Tangaroa, on 07/17/2008, -3/+1299 digs == Digg leftists going "Yeah! Kerry is too conservative!" and digging up the article before reading it
3 signatures == Those that were so excited they signed the petition without noticing that Beatty is a Republican- MarkusGarvey, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3Kerry is a sellout...im on the left (as you know Tangaroa)...im digging this not to support Beatty, but to get rid of a another puppet...Beatty being a Repub, is more than likely another puppet...i have never heard of him before...did you sign it Tang?...
- C4Strife, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4I hate how people do that. Just because a person is a democrat doesn't mean he has to hate all Republicans and vice-versa. I'm only 17 but even I can see the immaturity in it.
- DrDreyfus, on 07/17/2008, -3/+1***** YOU C4.
ON DIGG WE GO ALL THE WAY TO EITHER SIDE WITHOUT REGARD FOR THE REAL IMPLICATIONS OF WHAT WE SAY!!!ONE!!111!
- campo, on 07/17/2008, -0/+199 diggs means probably almost a thousand people viewed it. I had an entry on my site get 28 diggs and over 300 people viewed it

Cape Cod, Massachusetts- danzarrella, on 07/17/2008, -8/+3peace? you mean peace as in when kerry voted for the iraq war?
what about GBLT rights? oh yeah, kerry doesn't support gay marriage... - IconoclastStill, on 07/22/2008, -2/+1"Check his votes on Veterans rights

Not only that, pierre clearly provides activities to make the intellectually challenged feel good . . . . HANDDA
- danzarrella, on 07/17/2008, -8/+3peace? you mean peace as in when kerry voted for the iraq war?
- Erich100, on 07/17/2008, -11/+5I'm from Massachusetts, I would love to replace Skull & Bones Kerry with someone who was actually working for the people. Beatty looks to me like jumping from the pan into the fire.
- solistus, on 07/17/2008, -5/+33Kerry was one of the only Senators who stood up to FISA and telecom immunity, even when Obama buckled.
- coltrane68, on 07/17/2008, -8/+21John Kerry is one of the nation's most exceptional senators. This petition is quite weak - it identifies (at best) a few sub-par issues in an otherwise long and distinguished career of public service.
I'm surprised that the petition failed to mention how "French" Kerry looks as well. I am all for challenging incumbents, but this weak on-line petition seems laughable.- didiman, on 07/17/2008, -3/+2you've got to be joking?
- relic180, on 07/17/2008, -7/+11Why would anybody take seriously an "article" that is obviously nothing more than a political ad? Beatty wants in, Kerry is in the way. I'd say *****-slinging is par for the course.
EDIT: Didn't mean to imply that Kerry is good. He's a douche. Just commenting on political advertising.- OfficeSpacing, on 07/17/2008, -2/+2You are a douche
- relic180, on 07/17/2008, -2/+2Oh damn. You cut me deep bro.
- DrDreyfus, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2I agree.
- OfficeSpacing, on 07/17/2008, -2/+2You are a douche
- ScottMcQueen, on 07/17/2008, -5/+21At least Kerry had the juevos to not let telecom companies infringe our rights.
- bixby1, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3he gets an oatmeal cookie for that.
- kp2575, on 07/17/2008, -2/+6Meh... I just moved to Boston. I am already sick about hearing about this. At this point who doesn't have something we can hold against them.
- chadu, on 07/17/2008, -2/+1124 years = junior senator. hmm. senior senators are like what 50 years then?
my point... the founding fathers never intended "politician" to become a career.
out with the incumbents. they all suck.- aliengoods, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5***** that. I can only hope Feingold and Kucinich are in for another couple of decades.
- Gabberwok, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5Meh, incumbents in the House suck, the Senate was pretty much designed to have the politicians stick around for awhile. (2 yr terms vs. 6 yr terms.) Incumbents in the House only can stick around for so long because redistricting has made it almost impossible for incumbents to lose (Senators have to win the whole state). Although term limits help with corruption, they also end up kicking out people once they know what the hell they're doing. Most of them may be a bunch of clowns, but replacing old clowns for new clowns won't make up for the loss of the handful of people who actually know something about how the government works and want to make it better.
- darkchild82, on 07/17/2008, -5/+3He's still around huh ...
- mghwom1, on 07/17/2008, -5/+3He looks like the Scarecrow.
- guapo42, on 07/17/2008, -1/+4Scarecrow's a little sexier.
- Nomadelle, on 07/17/2008, -4/+6Kerry sucks, he voted for the war and doesn't support gay marriage
- louiebaur, on 07/17/2008, -5/+3Kerry is wierd looking
- socialpyramid, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2i've always thought that!
- Kidtuf, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2I find your spelling of weird to be weird.
And yes, Kerry looks kinda like a zombie.
- Tippx, on 07/17/2008, -2/+7Do you think a republican would really do a better job?
- kraetos, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1Depends on the Republican.
***** two-party politics. Support people, not parties.
- kraetos, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1Depends on the Republican.
- Pitofdoom, on 07/17/2008, -6/+6The left is so insane that Kerry and Obama wouldn't make the cut to clean toilet's at the local drive thru but they make the top of the list for Commander and Chief, maybe that's why America is heading for the toilet these guys can't clean !!
- kaykfrink, on 07/17/2008, -1/+1My head just exploded at the sheer retardedness of your statement.
- Pitofdoom, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3This may be due to the fact that in a short statement much is conveyed !
- Tanktunker, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1I concur, ***** that *****.
- kaykfrink, on 07/17/2008, -1/+1My head just exploded at the sheer retardedness of your statement.
- campo, on 07/17/2008, -3/+2blogs without comments are lame, that makes this dude's site lame
- Sanduu, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5Vote him down !
- Matricul8tr, on 07/17/2008, -2/+4How about this...let's can all the lifer dems and repugs and vote for ANYBODY that's not affiliated with those pandering traitors. Do your part in Mass. and we'll take care of it here in Florida. Stop wasting your votes on corporate sponsored career elitists, who've never held a real job and don't give a rat's ass about you or this country. Those people think you're stupid enough to vote for them no matter what they do or don't do and so far they've been right on that one at least.
- Inhibit, on 07/17/2008, -1/+3I'm for this in the same sense that I'm for term limits on congress persons. There's no sense in anyone holding a seat for more than a term or two.. might as well give someone else with a bit more drive a shot at the seat.
- brainscab, on 07/17/2008, -1/+7Karl Rove has just discovered Digg. This is his new hobby while avoiding judicial hearings. He calls it 'DiggBoats for Truth'.
Kerry served our country honorably, and came within one state of vanquishing Bush, So he is all right in my book. - 0Xonox0, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3Dear Iran, please don't elect Ahmedinenijad because he is evil and makes the world a bad place. But only you can vote him out of office. I don't give a ***** if you think he might actually serve your interests, because I know better than you do.
- Kent4jmj, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3I like the philosophy of Downsize DC.org. Put pressure on the incumbent to legislate more in line with the voters. Emailing, letters and phone calls make their office stop what they are doing and devote time to you. If lobbyists, who are a very small number of people can have such an overwhelming effect why cant a few hundred or thousand voters have an even greater effect!
I live in Mass. I am a Ron Paul supporting registered Republican. And I am desperately hoping that folks like me will make a difference. But as one of Kerry's supporters posted above he thinks Kerry is doing a great job because he votes to increase government spending to get more entitlement programs. He does not understand that although this looks great on the surface and seems to be the most charitable thing to do. It is, in reality, the worst. Increasing the size and scope of government causes ten times more problems than it solves at astronomically higher prices.
Folks like that have good hearts and want to solve problems but do not realize that government involvement is the worst possible solution. The message of Freedom, Free Markets, True Free Trade and that the ingenuity of the Private Sector are the best way to create Real wealth for all people and the best way to solve problems is not understood fully yet. - OfficeSpacing, on 07/17/2008, -4/+4People dislike Kerry because he's smarter than them (by a lot), and he acts like it.
Boohoo. People and their poor, fragile egos who don't want a smart president.
Well you get what you deserve then. Bush. McCain- CoMpUtErITGuY, on 07/17/2008, -2/+6I would rather have Bush than Kerry.
- OfficeSpacing, on 07/17/2008, -5/+2That means you are incredibly stupid. Or pure evil.
- igotlaidoff, on 07/17/2008, -4/+2I would rather have no president
- IconoclastStill, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2People don't like lurch because he is a lying cowardly traitor (quite literally).
- CoMpUtErITGuY, on 07/17/2008, -2/+6I would rather have Bush than Kerry.
- mandraque, on 07/17/2008, -2/+1i say we sabotage that petition, everyone sign vote 4 kerry.
- SuperMoses, on 07/17/2008, -2/+1Thinking back to that article that listed ways to get your article on the FP of Digg.. I'm wondering how much these guys are paying
- algaeturd, on 07/17/2008, -2/+3How in the Hell is this being Dugg up? Shouldn't CT go to work on Liebermann before anyone tries to take out Kerry? I mean, you guys did consider and vote for him as president of the U.S. only 4 short years ago.
You think THIS is the most dangerous man in DC? You guys are idiots. Point blank. If you want to start unelecting officials who are raising taxes and making this world more DANGEROUS, I have a list of republicans as long as my arm of representatives who do just that. Take out the dangerous ones first if you're so publicly and willfully motivated. Kerry is not a threat. He has been a voice of reason during the Iraq debates.
I smell something really fishy going on here. Bury this story where it belongs.- IconoclastStill, on 07/22/2008, -1/+1Well, you certainly match up to the second word of your user name . . . and so does botox pierre kerry.
